"Smash" Star Megan Hilty Sings Marilyn Monroe Song in Rehearsal for "Gentlemen Prefer Blondes"

- Take a glamorous look at gold-digging with blonde bombshell Lorelei Lee (Megan Hilty) in Encores!' upcoming staging of "Gentlemen Prefer Blondes" The musical premiered in 1949 with Tony winner Carol Channing in the role of Lorelei Lee and was adapted into the iconic 1953 film with Marilyn Monroe as Lee. Get a first look at the new Lorelei as Hilty takes on the number "Little Girl From Little Rock." Directed by John Rando, "Blondes" will be the final offering of the Encores! season, running at New York City Center from May 9 through May 13. On May 1, Broadway.com got a sneak peek at this exciting production in rehearsal, with three toe-tapping tunes performed by Hilty, Rachel York and more.

This is Broadway version of songs sang originally by Carol Channing so if it is anyone's song it is Carol's.
