Yeah, I just saw her basically BELT this song on a PBS July 4 and thought to myself, "She should have done it as Marilyn." Nemesis "Karen Cartwright" (Katherine McPhee) would be much better for it. Very vulnerable song, not to be belted OR over-theatricized. And I'm usually Megan fan. She was wonderful in Smash.

What is she doing? She is an actress and a very good one. Where is the story?? This song is so much more powerful with a good acting approach. She's trying to be a 'musician'. She is a great singer and a great actress. I get the feeling she is trying to be something different... or something she thinks she needs to be... does anyone else get that feeling??
