Hey Lambkin, just wanted to say that I made it to Flame Ruler with all of your guides and tips and I really appreciate the content you put out for Law.
@@Shaolinstyle21. I would agree that it does suck that he doesn’t deal a lot of damage, but I wouldn’t go as far to say it’s disrespecting Bruce Lee. Law is an inspiration from Bruce Lee, not a 1 to 1 copy. His narrative in the story is looking pretty grim and so is his damage. I just hope they realize he’s a bit weak rn and give him adjustments or buffs. Maybe returning the classic DSS input and add bonus damage, and hopefully they give him a better story, be it through dlc or the next Tekken.
@@shakezula3794 some characters are definitely overtuned right now, and I believe they’ll get nerfed soon. So it’s not necessarily that laws damage is low, it’s more that other characters have too much damage. :)
7:10 sneakiest thing Ive seen with this character yet Also if you slightly delay the final 1+2 of the b2,3,4f 3, 1, 2, 2, 1+2 wall combo you get unscaled 11 damage
I love that ws4 punch into rage Its like butter and spices when you cook, totally changes the meal ;) question did you invent this combo ? Also do you have a tip for inventing combos ? Because i feel a lil bad using combos that I’ve seen online, i would like to come up with my own combos even tho i fail at that, the damage is pretty meh and they don’t look as fantastic as yours
wow i'm amazed as to how you accomplish to hit 1+2 into tornado, specially that 4,3 DSS 1+2. on my end i sometimes end up not hitting it resulting in my opponent falling to the ground
@@Lambkin-_-bt d3 as well, that was a great pressure tool cuz it lead into ws4 dss, I love his new slide stance and duck cancels though cuz the mind games are on a whole new level now, but I wish they had kept that AND his bt moves lol

Im not trying to imply i know more than ne1.. but. I dont think alot of these are optimal. If u want the xtra dmg. An wanna use heat. Doing ne started uf4, UF4, df2, ws2. Into UF43, DSS3, heat.. is an ezier conversion. And quite a bit more dmg. Also. Offa like all of his CH launchers. Im hitting for 85 plus. No heat dss3 into b234 F4
great job man these combos are great. one thing im not understanding is at around the 3:50 mark. CH DSS 4 > 1+2 ends for me. i cant continue it. what am i doing wrong?
for all the basic combos that do 67 damage (no walls, infinite stage) some are quite tricky to land. Whats the benefit of using some of these vs just doing a launch and then back 2, back 2 1 into DSS forward 3? Isn't that the easiest and therefore best combo for that amount of damage? Love your work though, been using that double wall break combo and it got me to flame ruler haha
From a df2 launch, the combo you are talking about, df2, 4,u3, b2, b2,1 4,3dss,f3 only gives 61 damage. Not 67 if you do legend kick ender instead of dssf3 you get it up to 63. When you choose your combo, pick the one that is the most optimal, that you can land pretty consistently. If you can’t land the most optimal options, pick something a little easier, but aim to optimise at a later point, once you’ve familiarised yourself more with the combo tools 😁👍🏻🐉
@@Lambkin-_-a pro player once said "if its around 7 extra damage then it's worth learning", my personal scale is 5, if I can get 5 more damage consistently then I'll try to learn the harder combo, unless it's just not viable online of course
Hey Lambkin, For the staple juggle into heat, how do you consistently get the dash WS3, F2 into heat burst? I always seem to be a hair off or just mistimed or something. I find a quick B2 into heat to be easier but less damaging.
Thanks for responding! Is there an alternative route into heat that is a bit easier execution without a big Dmg fall off? Actually Would like to see a video on best usage of heat w/ Law. When to decide to use it, things like that. And also more wall shenanigans if possible. I know you have the wall carry VOD (awesome stuff btw) but I’m saying more AT WALL pressure and conversions. I find myself dropping a lot of stuff at the wall. Thx for everything though, you rock!
All I can say right now is that it’s just a timing thing that demands practice. I will make a guide specifically on 4,3 dss f4 soon. Probably tomorrow. So stay tuned 👍🏻
What helps me a lot with this is I try to input f4 just as his left leg touches the ground after 4,3. Still can't get it consistently online in the heat of the battle but I'm getting there :)

I made it to Shinryu with help of your guides as ive been playing Law for years and i think in T8 he has the been the most fun in a long time

idk off something like ws2 you can do 3uf4 ff4 2 3+4,4 W! b2,3,4 DSS3 1,2,2, delay 1+2 and hit for over a hundred damage
best law iv seen yet. im struggling with some of these but hopefully ill get it!

It’s because you need to buffer a microdash after 4,3 :)
PhiDX recently made a great microdash tutorial. You should give that one a watch

Slide from DSS is nice bit generally slide is slightly to slow for average player.

You need to do a microdash, and you need to be VERY fast in order to get the launch. The timing is extremely strict

A popular option besides his dss wall combo, is to do his dragon rush combo. b2,3,d4
