      Hello and thanks for watching.

You must have a proper flywheel remover otherwise you won’t be able to get it off.

Hello again, so thanks for the guidance. The 28 flywheel tool arrived and removed the flywheel. Note that whilst I thought the flywheel was stuck, it wasn’t as the crank does still not turn. The kick start returns with clutch in but in neutral the kick is stuck. Do you think the piston or crank has seized? What to do next? I have vídeo if you can help? @nordicexplorer1

@@MisterDonni you can easily remove the cylinder head and cylinder and find out if it sized.
Have you made any changes to the engine that may have lead to your problem? Did it happen during riding or after long time if stand still?
Have you changed the clutch ?

@@Nordicexplorer1 no changes have been made to engine or clutch. Bike has not moved for 2 years though. When last ridden all was ok, fuel tap was off and ran carb dry before storing. Will check the head next thanks. If it is stuck, does that mean a new cylinder?

My PX does not have the starter ting and I want to install a new one. Are they a press fit as I can not see any mounting holes and will it fit with a Pinasco Vespone RX190 cylinder fitted? I am not at home so cannot check. Thanks.

      Hello Mark.
I’m not sure what you mean by “starter ting”, so you have to explain more in detail please.

@@Nordicexplorer1 Sorry, I meant starter ring as in the teeth on the flywheel. The cylinder looks like it has fins missing on the flywheel side, maybe to accomodate the starter ring.

@@Mark-wx1ho Ok. The fins that are missing are as you said to accommodate the starter ring. The ring is normally welded , pressed or screwed to the flywheel depending on what sort of ignition you have. I use a polini ignition and the ring is welded but on a malossi it’s often hold by screws. Original I think it’s pressed.
      What ignition do you have?

@@Nordicexplorer1 I am not sure. Just standard I believe.

@@Mark-wx1ho ok, then I think it should be pressed to the flywheel. Seems weird that it would be removed. Could it be that the base of the cylinder is to large and is in the way for the ring? I don’t know that much about the rx190, but if the fins are removed I think it should work. Sometimes you have to grind a bit of from the cylinder to have enough space for the ring.
