Very interesting to hear the differences between Ang and Mal. Both tones are fucking epic. I'm really sorry for people who can't understand how great this band is, this is pure rock n roll. Not "just a couple of chords"
Having listened to many of these isolations I find myself listening to the recording albums again more focused to individuals....its a whole new meaning....thank you again for the isolations....
TBH, although the tone itself is legendary, it's quite simples to replicate, even with cheap modelers and so. Very far from impossible. Which is a good thing IMO
@@daniloberserk, very true. His tone is deceptively simple and really THE prime example of tone being in the hands. Give him 10 minutes of knob twisting and he could make a Deluxe Reverb sound just as AC/DC-ish.
Yup.. I'd like to hear the more pure clean marshal tone from ballbreaker stiff upper lip or black ice.. this is clearly an overdub from the donninton gig, I like the lack of overdubs on the next 2 live dvds
@@haksul8468 it’s on the collector’s edition of Live at Donnington. That’s the version I thought you were using since you did Jailbreak. They left those two songs out on the basic release. Thank you for the reply to my request and I think what you’re doing is awesome! Keep it up!!
Will you be doing sin city? I’ve listened to that several times trying to hear what Malcolm is doing but it isn’t clear whether he’s playing single notes or chords at any given point during the song. It would be extremely helpful if you isolated Malcolm. Keep up the great work and keep them coming!!
In my 30+ years of playing, I've never been able to get that lick down in the middle of the main riff. It should be simple, but something about it - its place on the neck, position, and/or timing make it very difficult to do accurately and consistently.
Whole entire track is a studio overdub. Hence why you don't hear any mic bleed from any of the instruments. Wish we could actually hear the full track how it should be. If you listen to some of the VHS mix or the version found on the LIVE cd. You can hear during the Choruses and some solo bits that Angus's guitar tone changes to a much more shrill sounding, less full, but still awesome sound (the same tone you can hear in Hell Aint A Bad Place To Be and in Highway To Hell) and THAT's the original performance / tone. Crazy that they felt the need to replace any of the performances at all. Doesn't really seem like it's much of a live performance if the whole song is a studio take that was recorded afterwards. XD
@@vismayballal7011 The guitar track you hear in the video above is not the performance from Donington. It was recorded in a studio after the fact and then they overlaid that track on the Blu-Ray and DVD release of the movie. The version you hear on the LIVE album switches between this studio performance and the actual performance of Donington and if you listen closely you can hear the switches.

@T.N.T screw them !!!! Acdc are the best !!
if you dont like acdc then you cant feel rock n roll. its really that simple
Well said
These videos are fascinating! Individually the parts sound so simple but the blending of them gives the sound a soul.

My favorite band
Atts Right🗣
Please keep doing this its so good to learn with your Videos!!!
I like how this videos can help us understand more how to sound like them
1:39 those notes, single notes not even chords, sound impossibly thick and huge!!!! Amazing.

For me this band started my love for rock and roll, metal and everything
Can you start (if you can) do river plate Isolations!
I agree

Isolated Malcolm Live at Donnington Sin City please!!!
Sin City isn't on live at Donington 1991

0:24 You clearly hear a three-note classical E chord with a G# on top ? Could it be Angus played a full regular E chord instead of a power one ?
Strings 3 through 6.
More audible in Mal's cleaner tone and playing.
Awesome to hear Angus had a little screw up in the middle of his solo and didn’t miss a beat.
Earth Wind Fire Water Angus Young
Sheeeesh

He has this Malcolm isolated look on his channel lol :)
@@KyleSG88 isolated Malcolm on Sin City…
Angus plays the single notes during the verses. Malcolm plays chords the whole time.
