Reception and battery life is good, however after almost 7 years of use the casing will show a lot of scratches and battery life reduced to one day. The following model, the E6, was almost as good, but unfortunately the nokia engineers didn`t optimise the software for the small, high resolution screen. For daily usage i still prefer the E5 against a lot of other e series devices.

Brings back a lotta memories Also those who dunno, this phone can perfectly emulate GBA games too!

I am just a teen trying to trade in my old nokia 3500c to a better one so I choose between these two. @Brajsah Boss agle time se english mei post kar.E5 is a great mobile.It has features which even Blackberry doesn't have in the same range.Apart from the blackberry services if you compare the E5 with a Bold 9000,E5 is lot better.E5 is 99% similar to the E72 which costs hell more than it.It doesn't have video calling compared to the E72.So it depends on your need. But if you are looking for a phone with almost all features and a great qwerty keypad,i would recommend this to you.

we get it, the UI is old, but what would you want to be displayed on a 2.4" screen? The interface is quite functional and easy to use, changing it would not necessarily be a good thing (from previews S60 users point of view) If you want prettier icons, change your theme :D .

E5 and E72 are almost the same.E72 has video calling and an optical trackpad.Internally the features are same down to the wire.
E5 is good for a long run, but e72 has more feature and better looks, E71 is better out of these 3
