Truth is; It's not about Christianity or Devil worship. It's just music. Most of you will disagree with me. At some point in time, we have to quit labeling things and just enjoy it for what it is. What these guys are doing is no different than KISS in the 70's. That took ridicule. But it worked . Alice Cooper did the same thing. None of us have the right to judge anyone or anything. Music is the only true way for anyone that claims to be human to express themselves. Besides language, it separates us from every other species. Everything else we do can be misconstrued as something else.
+jandvadams Yah dude. Someone gets it at least. Look up Ghost's "What's in My Bag?" on YT if you haven't seen it already. What I think is cool is that Ghost has managed to get everyone up in arms over the whole "religion / satanism in metal debate" (read malarky) again, for like the 80th time in the history of modern music. If they had just been another harsh-as-nails black metal act no one would have batted an eyelash. Genius concept for a band.
I agree. You can sing about your dog taking shit, but I won't care a bit if I like it. You simply like or don't like music, there should be no other criteria when choosing what to listen.
FORREAL. People always label me as a satanist just cuz i like metal alone when in reality, i love the way it sounds and some metal bands give life lessons and even help me in a time of need. Bands like Ghost, i love the way they sound.
Atheists don't hate god, they just don't believe in him. The lyrics about satan and the antichrist are the same as lyrics about Gandalf or the easter bunny or any other fictional character. It's just make-believe fun man.

Same. For me this is art and I can exorcise my inner demons thru art and music in order to live as a nicer, better person.
That's what I have been arguing with myself for the past 2 hours 😂😂😂
@@cLickeazyorgdid you win the argument?
Ghost is an amazing band! I love ghost so much!
Incredible, vintage Ghost, what a song
slight hints of candlemass and blue oyster cult. loving this band
Blue Oyster Cult, exactly. They go back to an earlier metal sound and I love it... don't understand some of the comments or reviews who are referring to this as pop rock or pop metal or bubblegum metal. Why, cause the guy has a great clean singing voice and comes up with great melodies? It's still rock n' roll !!
Bruh, a Ghost cover of Bewitched? Yes please!
Epitome of the hypnotic era of the '70s
I'm getting a Blue Oyster Cult Vibe in most of their songs. Especially in the song Zenith.
I'm a Luciferian. Have been since childhood. I love this band and their music.
Welcome - Satanist here, LA Vey
I grew up poor but was well traveled! I noticed the catholic church and the shrines of Europe. The catholic church is underrated. It's time for a new tomorrow in the name of evolution! 👨✈️
Why do I want to go full hippie mode and plant trees and, sing and dance after listening to this?! I LOVE IT!
Virei fã dessa banda depois de ver eles no rock in rock!!
I lost my 2 best mates in 2024 and both toog and baker loved this band, I love you.
I just started to listen to all of the songs and OMG I am never getting over this band and I am staying a fan forever
Love you GHOST ❤️
Edit: when I listen to this song, I feel like I am there live.
Genius concept for a band.
yes thank you some one finally fucking understand s
I would *love* to see this song live. When I first discovered Ghost I thought this song wasn't for me, but I could not have been more wrong.
I started listening them cause of their look, but I keep listening them cause of their music!
same hahahahh
+Ayöw Kaos same
Im addicted to this song. Cant get enough of it.
Every song is the most beautiful melody I’ve ever heard … demonic vibes
[LYRICS]
To the sound of the monstrance
Air is cleansed, assembled flock
Black candles burn, all minds aligned
To the sound of the monstrance
Air is cleansed, assembled flock
Black candles burn, all minds aligned
As the parish sighs in smoke
Enters lady, revealed of cloak
To haunting sound of the monstrance clock
Singing
Come together
Together as one
Come together
For Lucifer's son
To the sound of the end of day
Mesmerized, the assembled sway
Black candles burn, all minds aligned
Hypnotizing horns of ram
Paralyzing pentagram
And the eerie sound of the monstrance clock
Singing
Come together
Together as one
Come together
For Lucifer's son

They don't have bad songs but they have bad albums like Prequelle for example
@@tsnhd I don't agree
@@tsnhd prequelle is a masterpiece
@@SlothoftheSun The compositions are really good but I find this album a bit overproduced.
@@tsnhd The first thing is, how can an album be bad without bad songs, and the second thing is, that Prequelle is the most bearable album by Ghost by far for people, who don't really like Ghost in order to make them like Ghost (in my opinion).
By the way, it's my favorite Ghost-album.
I got into Ghost about a year ago, recently went to their concert with my dad, it was the best concert I've been to, they helped me get into the metal genre. I'm in love with almost all their songs.
Dez anos completos desta canção. Primeira vez que ouvira falar de Ghost foi pouco antes deles terem apresentado-se no Rock in Rio; e lá se vão dez anos.
Wonderful song, can't stop listening to them! :)
Ghost has helped me through multiple breakups that have turned my life upside down. This song always got be back in a good mood after a rubbish day. I hope you do a tour in the UK soon I know so many people who would love that.
It’s 2018 and I just discovered this band. They’re so goood and why haven’t I heard of them years and years ago
WE LOVE YOU GHOST
He loves you as much. Never forget. Your never alone. You can always call upon him
Realmente o show foi excelente! pena que muitos não entendem a essencia do ghost... mas provavelmente vão entender assim que começarem a virar fã kkkkk
Not as heavy as you would expect, but I've always thought there was an "eeriness" to their songs. Somehow sounding great and yet creepy at the same time.
That ending chorus part though man.....that shit's fucking beautiful.
It's a heavily melodic band, the appearance and lyrics are just a parody/persona or a joke in a way. Strip away the satanic lyrics and you have a band full of talented musicians, a great singer and great songwriting
They lost the eeriness on the last 2 albums but its still a good band.
@@harbinger7115 there's a different kind of eeriness in Meliora, but yes, the last two albums are nothing like his previous records. Which is good and exactly what he wanted.
@@BaileyBaratheon the use the satanic worship as a vessel to get sync with the media and fans gain popularity through something so controversial as Satan. It worked.!!
These guys are heavy! Just listen to that guitar! That bass, those drums, and then, the vocals!
Ghost takes music to another level. Just incredible.
This song just gives me the ultimate goosebumps!
2:43 it always gives me chills right there
Alexis Wolff ghost give me chills everytime
This and ghuleh will always be my favs
Pause at 0:52 pure badass! Wish he kept the papa 2 look! Was just so evil
I LOVE THIS SONG! this is soooooooo calming
I grew up with this band. This is my all time favourite song.
i like this chorus, it gives “near the end” vibe
and solo is just euphoric
love this band. they don't need to be heavy its the message that counts
jeremy slitor
Of all songs to comment that on
You pick the song about the female orgasm
