yo man, just the effort you put in for all of us. This is my 4th time running through the phases and every time I learn something new. Thank you so much man, for real
That’s awesome brother sometimes your job can be a thankless job, but I love being an instructor. It is one of the things that filled me with the most joy out of anything I’ve done glad I could help brother.
Bro this was a great video! I’m a barber instructor in Fort Worth, Tx. I’m actually working on a lesson plan on this topic. You broke everything down so sample. Keep up the great work!
FIRE 😅❤ It and I have watched all of your videos over and over again so many times while practicing. Your awesome Eddie I’m understanding and see so much more thank you for your passion my reps are in beast mode 😅 eddies army
Definitely need more shear work like this, mastering the basics type video. The different angles as well as the explanation, hands on tutorial, and re plantations with the end example of what the cut looks like when done live. Thank you definitely helped, Ive been struggling to understand the guide lines and traveling guidelines for a long time now.
I started watching out of order because I felt like I had the first few phases down, but your tutorials are so good I am watching them all! I have been cutting hair for family and friends for a long time and no one has ever made a more clear and fun tutorial than you! Your methods are really refining my technique, even for things I thought I had mastered. Thanks so much!
Watched so so many of your videos over the last year and they're all so good! Gonna start showing my support abit more in the comments from now on! Keep them coming dude 👌
Yes. Yes. Yes. Excellent content. Thank you, Thank you Thank you. I didn't know you were doing this academy thing. I subscribed. I am always ready to improve. I'm definitely "not" one of those "I know it all" types.
Hey Eddie! thanks for all your content. im wondering if you could do a video in working around baldspots, and balding clients who want to maintain that full look
You the shit bro I needed to learn this cause I have some Spanish kids that have long hair and I couldn’t get what they wanted exactly now that I watched this video about 10 times and did practice on a few people I got it to a T 💪🏽👌🏾🙏🏽
Man, just had an eye opening moment, this has always been my biggest problem, linings too 🤣 but I’m getting better there now. WE appreciate all your efforts to make us complete barbers. 💈 💙 🦾 #eddiesarmy 💯K!!!
Thanks for the Inspiration Eddie because on my channel I teach as well & i havent got the traffic I been wanting so i was thinking of ways to switch things up but ima stay true to my style & just do my barber videos how i feel is good for my viewers but thank you for staying true to teaching 💯
Looking to get into barber school I’m a Toyota technician but looking to cut hair part time eventually full time but looking at different schools to enroll wish I had you as a instructor
I know you said to direct the hair 90 degrees from the scalp, however when would you cut the top square instead of round? Does it make a difference besides leaving more weight towards to parietal ridge? Especially if they want a shorter haircut which they can spike up, its obviously better to just cut the top 90 degrees?
Hey Eddie. Just to understand it correctly: we leave the bangs out initially only if a client wants them longer, right? Otherwise we would include the bangs section right away? Thanks
Eddie, I am enjoying and learning a ton from your videos, and I'm really happy to see you posting links to getting gear. Your information is spot on, and I wish I had discovered you back when I was in barbering school. It would have shaved a ton of time off of my learning curve. Thank you for doing this, and if you're ever in Atlanta, I'd love to buy you a couple beers! Keep up the good work, my man!
Hey eddie, i appreciate everything you are teaching us man. i really do, however i had one question. are the phases put in proper order to approach every hair cut? 1-6 or can we start from the top first?
The scissor flipping the does have a reason, it’s meant for safety. Look at how close the sharp end were to his eye right after he talked about it . When you flip it after cutting it’s pointed towards you.
Excellent video! You are a gifted communicator. You explain ideas in with clarity. Thank you for your work. In this video, i didn’t understand how to do the cross check. Could you say more about that or show that? Thank you.
You're the best
