Congratulations to coach Samples and Duncanville, a well deserved win. As a North Shore fan, that's the first time in forever I've seen our offensive line get manhandled. Duncanville d-line was the difference; the better team won this game.
It's always a great game when these two teams play. Although I was rooting for NS, you must credit Duncanville's defense line. There was no answer to stop Colin Simmons from rushing in and stopping the play. In my opinion, this made a difference in the game. Congratulations to the Duncanville team and community.
I’m a houstonian I’m going with north shore no dought! But this was a hell of a game in both teams! I can tell Duncanville was nervous at the end! Y’all know it’s hard to beat north shore! Hell of a game always enjoy watching these boys go all out, this is what Texas football is all about!!
@@chrisfoster4654 But North Shore QB #8 Amador was actually the best Wide Receiver on the team & was forced to move to QB with the injury to the starting guy, so they were losing out on a good QB & their best receiver, not making excuses, just saying, Duncanville & North Shore have basically both been the best of the best the last 5 years, I'm from Houston & have cousins & friends that graduated North Shore but I'm happy for Duncanville, I figured they'd eventually get their revenge back lol
North Shore was missing their starting QB from a year ago who won state as a freshman AND a 5 star wide receiver who was ineligible this year. They got a stacked roster next year so look for them to win it next matchup.
I'm proud of Coach Samples! This State Championship for him as been long overdue going all the way back to when Lincoln was🤏🏾 close to winning, then to take over at Skyline and take the team all the way to the state semis to only lose to a Klyer Murray lead Allen Eagles. Run it back

Can’t no Public school in the country beat MD (43) or Bosco (44). Both those schools each have more talent than Duncanville (14), Desoto (12), and SOC (12) combined. Not even the most talented public school Central out of Miami has a little more than half (23) the blue chip players as either of those schools.
Of course they recruit, Texas breeding they own players etc, imagine if everybody recruit top players from across the nation bro, make valid statements, I bet duncanville would smash any public school in ca, y’all don’t even be making fair statements
I ain’t even from Texas but I know they ain’t recruiting top prospects from across the nation, people in Texas probably want to go to north shore and Duncanville because of success of programs and obviously they would have of better chance of being notice so I can’t blame them for that, the whole point of playing high school football is to be notice if you trying get free education and maybe have slim opportunity to play in NFL one day, some play for the unity and for love of sport, but if football is your purpose / passion you gotta respect what they do in Texas
