this. this is what a real "zombie apocalypse" would be like. complete disorganization. panic everywhere. too much anxiety and excitement. large groups of people who barely know each other and can get into fights easily. zombie film directors need to study and watch stuff like this. imo i find realistic situations and acting a lot more fun than over dramatized total badass survivor guys.
+Mr .Fixit Depends. What kind of zombie apocalypse it is? First of all not to hate or anything. I am just saying nothing else, I have been thinking about that the zombie apocalypse would be over pretty quickly, but if it's like a virus like in Walking dead where everyone has it already and you become a zombie when you die (The bites are having something killing what will kill the system slowly and that's why you become a zombie) or is it like a nuclear weapon or like in religion, the Hell is full (this is my favourite theory because it's funny. )
Lumicatti Well to make it the worst possible case, lets say, everyone is infected, like walking dead, so when you die you turn. Ill just go over a list of some of the things i think about it... 1- Zombies are composed of rotting flesh in just about every adaptation ive seen, so they would rot away like a dead body in about 1-2 weeks 2- Maggots, Maggots would have a field day 3- Humans have made creatures go extinct without even trying, like if you didnt have any restrictions on deer hunting, Deer would go extinct pretty quickly, imagine what were to happen if we actually tried to make a species go extinct 4- About the infection, people would soon enough come to learn that when somebody dies, youll have to take certain steps to make sure they dont kill you 4.5- If getting bitten was the only way to turn, well thats like your food and reproduction source being the top predator known to earth, its like if humans wanted to make a baby or eat, they would have to go in the middle of the ocean and take on a shark bare handed every single time 5- i just imagine in this kind of situtation, the millitary industrial complex would make a killing, and might actually boost the economy with gun and ammo sells Im just about out of ideas atm, tell me what youre thinking
I did something like this. A mall was rented and set up with 100+ people signing up as zombies. and 20 survivers, haveing foam weapons, and airsoft. You can kill others and crap, saddly had to survive only 8 hours od the night to dawn. It was quite fun. if you where "bit" you would have to find the temp cure [30 extra mins] or just die. Also you required food and water. [every hour] i died like.. 5th hour from starvation. but fun experience.

There is all kinds. Lots shut down with the crackdown on airsoft though. But i’m sure they are still out there. The one I was at I believe the organizers were from the UK though, it was a pilot project, there was a second event in Calgary after this and then I think one at an outdoor arena and then I don’t know.
You know, there is one way to survive. Four words: Stay on the road. The longer you stay in one place, the greater the chance of becoming a target, not to the cannibals, but to other not-so-friendly survivors. Because, quite honestly, the biggest threat won't be the brain dead monsters that roam around in constant search for living flesh to feed upon, it's other people. Cannibals are predictable, not people.
it depends on how it is done for some people if done right they are alot safer staying in one place then keep moving but truth is staying in one place you can build the place to defend from anyone while on the road unless traveling with a good amount people any minute can be your last either from horde of zombies,group of hostile people or wild animals
As much as a zombie apocalypse sounds like fun because you get to live the life of someone from walking dead and kill zombies like a bad ass! but what about your family members. people that are not as likely to survive or have the physical fitness to run away from a zombie or climb or keep up, they will die and then you most likely have to kill your own mum, brother, dad or sister. so as much as it would be freaking BAD ASS if it did happened it would still be a very tragic thing for you and everyone else. besides... imagination and reality is two completely different things... if you see a zombie right in front of your eyes you would most likely shit yourself and your first instinct would be run.
I can't believe how many people actually have to ask "is this real?" The future looks kind of bleak, knowing that when we get old these people will be looking after us. Good job people!
I'd love to be a part of these productions, I adore roleplaying but can only do them on online games, I know nothing about doing them in person. Loved it though!!!

Actually when i was a kid, I've always wished that there's gonna be a Virus, which will turn people to Zombies, And then there's gonna be a Zombie Apocalypse, but years passed and now i've learned, That if there's a Zombie Apocalypse, I would be totally screwed cause i'm that guy who can't run Really fast, and if a Zombie Apocalypse happenned i would totally be that guy who travels Solo wherever he goes, Cause i'm pretty much a Loner, So i may not survive if a Zombie Outbreak happenned.
man i wish i could take part in something like this.... even if it is just acting like all this is really happening... its much more entertaining than overdone overplayed cliches in movies and tv shows. really looks like a good place to act out how you think you would react in this situation. some people may think its stupid but for the people who really appreciate this kind of experience it really must be an incredible feeling
I feel like I'd be very agressive in this situation. My post-apocalyptic "ideology" is governed by a desire to restore order and society. As such, regaining control of territory is paramount. I'd probably be trying to rally everyone for an offensive. Zombies are slow and dumb... Making a military style, tactical advance easily feasible. I would try to convince people to get on board with this strategy (advance slowly, retake the mall room by room, clear a room, fortify the room, regroup and resupply, advance and clear the next room, fortify the new position, repeat until building is secure). This strategy is built around the understanding that there are only so many zombies in the building... and if you go on the offensive you can eliminate the threat on your terms. This strategy also includes strict "rule making" (rations, laws, firearm restrictions, designation of areas as "restricted" or civilian), which is primarily used to root out scavengers, thieves, or other hostiles. Several people (deemed trustworthy) must be designated "Police" and be put in charge of eliminating interior, human, threats. Designated "Soldiers" (usually anyone with a gun who's willing to go on the offensive) will deal with holding the perimeter and advancing on the zombies. So that's my strategy in a (large) nutshell. Anybody else have a strategy for this situation, I would really love to hear it.
Anthony Herbella I'm historically good at "leading". Based on my personal experiences I believe I would not "melt" in the face of the pressure. Especially when it comes to zombies... which are slow and stupid. I have never been one to shy away from potentially dangerous situations. While I cannot say for certain what I would do if I were face to face with a zombie... I can easily say what I would do in an apocalyptic situation, where planning and rebuilding are concerned. This isn't a game plan for what to do if a zombie is a foot away from you... it's a game plan for what to do when you have a large group and need a survival/rebuilding strategy. I'm not "all talk" since I'm not talking about how "I'm going to kick the crap out of the zombies and gut the bandits". I'm talking about a strategic plan for ranged combat and expanding fortification... specifically intended to encourage offensive action, while minimizing risk to "Soldiers". Generally people who are are all talk don't have complex plans... they just think they are super stars and turn out to be duds. I'm not a big ego, I'm merely a strategist with tactical knowledge and some experience with handguns. I don't claim to be "the best"... all I claim is that I have a plan, which may or may not work. BTW: Don't be so quick to tell people they'd be crying in a corner... people can easily surprise (especially strangers who you don't know 😂). One person who you'd expect to be weak could be the groups best, while someone who looks like a super soldiers could crap him/herself.

People do crazy things when scared. I did a zombie thing a while back and everyone slowly turns on each other.. It's organized to an extent, but once you start seeing those stupid people screaming you lose your shit.
rangospiv Special effects, + a real gunshot is a hundred times louder, even more so in a closed room because of echo. Without hearing protection most of these people would be deaf by the first few shots

you can survive far longer than a week without food i've gone longer without food my self easiest way to remember is the 3 rule 3 minutes without air, 3 days without water, 3 weeks without food Obviously this is just a way to remember and on 100% fact
JKresz i was homeless for 6 months, didnt eat for 2 weeks because thats how long it took me to catch my first rabbit. Though each human is different i imagine, you can def live longer then a week without food.

First of all, these people are more likely to kill each other instead of the zombies. Second, the zombies are more stupid than the ones in the Walking Dead. Well, you could ask the survivor that died when he had to take a poop and the zombies surrounded the bathroom. We couldn't catch it on camera though.

you can survive far longer than a week without food i've gone longer without food my self easiest way to remember is the 3 rule
3 minutes without air, 3 days without water, 3 weeks without food

JKresz i was homeless for 6 months, didnt eat for 2 weeks because thats how long it took me to catch my first rabbit. Though each human is different i imagine, you can def live longer then a week without food.

Its really a big chuckle fuck. People are shooting each other and then they are friends and going to the clinic that they just went to again. First of all, these people are more likely to kill each other instead of the zombies. Second, the zombies are more stupid than the ones in the Walking Dead.
