    FAQ:
Where are you from? Are you Japanese?
    - I am Swedish.
For how long have you lived in Japan?
    - I came to Japan in 2008.
Why did you move to Japan?
    - I was interested in Japan since I was a child, largely thanks to growing up playing a lot of (Japanese) videogames as well as a brief interest in anime during my teenage years. When I finally came here for the first time I felt that it was a really nice and interesting country, and I decided to do what I could to move here permanently.
How did you get a visa to Japan?
    - It's complicated and my case is quite different from most, as I've always been self-employed. But basically, as long as you can show the immigration authorities that you have a stable income, there's usually a way. Personally, I was here on journalist visas until a few years ago when I got married. Now I have a spouse visa.
    Do you work in Japan?
    - Yes, I'm a photographer. Currently, most of my work is related to tourism and travel in Japan, but I also do portrait photography as well as documentary work. I used to write news stories and articles about Japan as well, mostly for newspapers in Sweden, but for the last 3-4 years, my work has been almost exclusively about photography. Sometimes I appear on TV too.
    What camera do you use?
    - My live walks are recorded with my phone, a Samsung S21 ultra, mounted on a DJI OM4 Gimbal. 4K videos are mostly shot with an iPhone 12 Pro Max but sometimes also a DJI Osmo Pocket or DJI Pocket 2. For my "real work", I mostly use a Nikon Z7, but I also have a Z6, Fujifilm X-T3, Leica Q, Sony RX1R mk II and Ricoh GR III that comes with me from time to time.
What advice would you give to someone wanting to move to Japan?
    - Study, learn a skill that's in demand in Japan. There are plenty of available jobs here. Some knowledge of the Japanese language would also help a lot, not just to get you a job, but also so that you can actually enjoy life while living here as well.
    How did you learn Japanese?
    - I went to language school in Tokyo for one year in 2010-2011. After that, I've also taken some online courses and studied on my own.
How many languages do you speak?
    - Swedish, English and Japanese reasonably well, and also a bit of German, as I lived there before coming to Japan.
    Will you make bicycle videos?
    - No. Streaming and interacting with my viewers while riding a bike would be too dangerous.

Thanks for sharing with us this spectacular take off from Tokyo Haneda. We could really see everything. Short after Take off I spotted Kawasaki, Rainbow Bridge, Tokyo Central area around Tokyo Station with Tokyo Tower, Sjinjuku (the. zoom in ) of course Fuji-san, Tokyo Sky Tree ,Ueno and Ueno Park, Sumida River, Omiya and I think the straight white line was overflying the Tohoku Shinkansen that splits of from Omiya. I have been there in the Train Museum. Arigato TE. In thought I could here your comments with this Take off :).

That looked like a steep climb! Nice overfly of the Tokyo Bay reclamation area, Rainbow Bridge too. Now I realize that the most breathtaking view of Fuji san belongs to an airplane hehe. Safe travels TE

Thank you TE! This video reminds me that sad and painful feeling of leaving Tokyo back in 2017, haven't had a chance to visit again ever since😔

It was neat to see the takeoff from Haneda, as I've never had the chance to fly from there, only from Narita. I enjoyed seeing the various landmarks from the sky. I can only imagine how beautiful it must be at night. Glad you got to Sweden safely! Enjoy your trip.

What a spectacular view! Never had such a view as I have never used Haneda Airport before (always Narita) when I visited Tokyo. It was great able to see some of the familiar landscape like Rainbow Bridge, Odaiba, up from the sky. Thank you TE for sharing this video. I really missed taking the aeroplane.
Glad to know that you have reach Sweden safely.

Wow, very nice video! Amazing view out the window of the A330. Nice you sat behind the wing. Nice long taxi to the runway. After takeoff, I was having fun picking-out all the famous Tokyo landmarks. It was exciting! Leaving Tokyo would make me sad. Great job filming this. High quality, and smooth. ( Now I will have to go watch your landing video in Sweden! )

Thanks very much for recording this video TE.
It was great to watch and hear the sound of a jet taking off, even if I won't have a chance to experience it again for a few years.
For best sound, you really need a sound system with subwoofer, otherwise you lose all the bass power when the jets are spooled up for take-off, at 7:05.
I missed this when it was on Premiere, as I was too busy grinding levelling up my Pokemon, and finishing off a backlog of tasks to complete entries in the Pokedex, in Pokemon Legends Arceus.
Chat 7:26 you mentioned that the window was very dirty. Just after the engines spool up and the aircraft starts moving, you can see the exhaust plumes. SAS need to get their ground crews to better clean the windows for the rows behind the engines, as part of the turnaround service between flights.
9:07 Rainbow Bridge and Tokyo Tower :)
10:57 Roughly in the centre of the screen is Sarue-onshi Park 猿江恩賜公園, 2 Chome-13-7 Mori, Koto City, Tokyo 135-0002, Japan
Above and to the left of Sarue-onshi Park, is Kiba Park 木場公園, 4 Chome-6-1 Hirano, Koto City, Tokyo 135-0023, Japan
To the right of Sarue-onshi Park, is Kinshi Park 墨田区立 錦糸公園, 4 Chome-15-1 Kinshi, Sumida City, Tokyo 130-0013, Japan
11:06 centre bottom is Kameido Central Park 亀戸中央公園, Japan, 〒136-0071 Tokyo, Koto City, Kameido, 9 Chome−37−28
    11:13 Tokyo SkyTree :)
    11:37 Ueno Park :)
Chat 13:19 Yeah, I missed the plane. I was too busy hunting Pokemon in the game series' equivalent of Ezo, what is now known as Hokkaido.
Chat 13:39 Which online video chat system were you using, TE?
15:01 the lake at centre right is next to Kukishobu Park 久喜菖蒲公園, 70, 河原井町 Kuki, Saitama 346-0028, Japan
I managed to find out what the heart shaped feature is, at the 17:07 mark. It's Yanaka Lake 谷中湖(渡良瀬貯水池), Fujiokamachi Uchino, Tochigi, 323-1103, Japan
