I had a similar thing today o. Route 66. I was running back as junker queen and there was a ball sitting by the edge near attacker spawn. We hung out for a min then jumped off the edge.

My friend and I used to do this in OW1. One time a teammate asked me to switch off my current hero, and I replied that I couldn't since it was mystery heroes. The teammate just said 'okay' and never asked again lmao

It's so great seeing Flats have his fun on QP.
To actually make the game fun to play at the moment, me and my friends use OW Hero Picker and it's so good. We switch after death or stay if have ult or is over 80%. We play it in arcade. Sometimes It can completely screw us up and we get rolled or we get lucky and do really well. If we have a team of 5, one of us does go a dedicated healer (but still random). It just makes the game a little stressful.
my favorite version of this was with friends. we'd play no limits, then we'd randomly pick one of the heroes we loaded in on, then we'd all have to play that all match. If we switch it would have to be to one of the other selected heroes, and we all had to switch.
That moment when flats got slept and his whole team came to check on him was awesome!

I do this too!! I actually have random wheels that I let select my heroes, but when I don't have them open, I'll just go with whatever Overwatch tells me to play - It's honestly a lot of fun when you're not being abused by teammates 😅

Another idea would be to pick a hero which the map currently played is their hometown (or country).
See how well or how bad some heroes are in their own house.
Edit: could play out skin themed after maps too.
Ex:
(Racer themed) Circuit Royale
(Casual themed) Midtown
(American/Biker themed) Route: 66
(Star themed) Hollywood
(Waste/Mecha themed) Junkertown
Etc.
Mystery Heroes becomes cancer when the enemy team has 3 or 4 tanks.

14:00 forget Dippin dots, Canobie lake park has the best fried dough. The fried dough,Boston tea party, Yankee cannonball and the wave pool constitute some of my favorite childhood memories. I still love going to canobie lake whenever I can gather up someone to come with me. Love that flats and Emong also shared in such great memories.

Edit: I know a lot of people are giving OW2 a lot of crap and there's some issues that need addressed, but overall I love it. I mean, I haven't seen Flats have so much fun, considering I only got into Overwatch during its dead years. So many people are playing with friends, like I mean whole 5 stacks, goofing off in Arcade or QP and it's just so good to see the community refilled with life.
