Anyone else join John’s channel in January? This has consistently been the best source of accurate information on the pandemic. If John’s advice on vitamin D had been heeded earlier and more fully many lives could have been saved.
Sandra Westley yes I started taking more vitamin D as soon as he said it helped, 4-5 weeks later our government are handing it out free to all the elderly, which is good but could have been a lot sooner, also stands to reason, as the elderly rarely sit in the sun they would be short on vitamin D
I totally agree about Johns advice on vitamin D. He saved hundreds of lives. Now, this USA Dr. Fauci, who has been giving different advice this past year about Covid, decided in the fall, to tell Americans he was on vitamin D from the beginning. Where Dr. John saved hundreds of lives with his advice Dr. Fauci could have saved many thousands of lives if he said he was taking vitamin D.
People forget with Australia we have socialized healthcare, and social supports. Job keeper (introduced to keep jobs in small businesses) and jobseeker (doubled money for unimployed), mortgages frozen in major banks for people who request and are able to show loss of income) amongst many other things introduced to keep people employed and businesses from going under during lockdowns. Was it perfect ... no, many people still lost their jobs and many people lost their small businesses. Not on the scale that people in other countries. All boarders closed, apart from Australians overseas coming home. No community spread (allowing for stuff ups in the 14 day quarantine for people arriving in Australia). 235+ days no community spread in Western Australia. In California they have one rule for me and another for thee. For example one restaurant owner who was completely closed down including her outside seating discovered an exception had been made for the movie industry and they had set up an outdoor eating area right next to her closed outdoor eating area. The hypocrisy of the political and societal elite is overwhelming.
The difference though is that movie sets have strict protocols and all are Covid tested regularly. Sets are pretty much closed. A restaurant serves the public without that so the risk is higher.
That is happening all over America, but know that the difference was one had to test for the virus but the restaurant didn't have to now is she willing to test everyone at her exspence?
Well, as long as people have to be governed by laws and legislation, instead of by a sense of shared civic responsibility, people will always be able to circumnavigate laws. It's impossible for a law to cover every circumstance involving every individual situation...and for this very reason, lawyers will always be able to find exceptions for self-centred individuals (corporations) wishing to bypass laws.
@@amiesparkle00 The White House was testing everyone who came in contact with President Trump he still got the COVID. The issue is not with the protocols but lack of consistency from these state and local leaders. A restaurant can’t serve outdoors but a Costco can have 500 people inside doesn’t make much sense.

Hi John, I am an Australian living in Victoria and I just wanted to add to your comments regarding accountability for mistakes made in Victoria that caused the second wave of Covid. Contrary to what you said (and the popular media in Australia) the state government has accepted accountability for what went wrong in the hotel quarantine system used for returning Australian citizens; at least one senior bureaucrat was stood down from her role as soon as the problem occurred, the then Health Minister, who’s department had responsibility for managing hotel quarantine, has reigned and has subsequently replaced, when the outbreak occurred (as a result of Covid leaking out of hotel quarantine the Victorian premier immediately set up an independent board of inquiry (the final report is due for release on 21st December) and the Premier has stated on numerous occasions that the buck stops with him and he will accept all the findings of the report. Really enjoy you videos, and are very thankful to be living in Australia at the moment :)
Funny thing about rules is that for some strange reason they don't end up applying to the people who make them. I agree it used to be different. But no more.

What I find unacceptable is the utter lack of evidence provided when they said the disease wasn't likely to be spread by asymptomatic carriers. If they just said they didn't have data one way or the other but both SARs and MER had in hospital infections as the main concern then fine, but they didn't, that's what they should be held accountable for.
Thank you Dr. Campbell and your irritation with the lack of responsibility and accountability is real. May we all stay grounded in our frustration but seriously, enough is enough! We are grateful for your commitment to this channel and all of your time researching and presenting this information. Thank you!!! We are with you!
My husband and I just finished very mild cases of covid. We’ve been taking extra Vit D since March. If I hadn’t been watching the good Doc since Feb, I probably wouldn’t have taken the extra Vit D and who knows how bad it might have been.
In the US you can be ticketed for not wearing a seat belt. I have no idea how people don't fight that seeing as how it only protects the wearer and yet they fight wearing a mask which helps to protect others. Its mind boggling the lack of common sense.
Staff has been stretched absurdly. The needed attention is not prompt and rushed. Even if they do go to the hospital the experience will not be optimum.
Where I live hospitals are full and some are close to full. The nurses and doctors are finally on television and pleading with the public as well as these leaders of counties and cities that have not been taking this seriously. They are tired. They have limited resources and can’t be there for everyone when there is no room at the inn. Sad it’s come to that. Can’t get covid but you dare not need a hospital for anything!
Here in Australia I think we only have 1 locally acquired case. The rest are overseas travellers picked up in hotel quarantine. ( That's Australians returning home)
The other point is most if not all hospitalisations are actually quarantine of positive cases. Not sure if all states and territories have adopted this but I remember Queensland mentioning that quarantining people in hospital was considered an option. I think it's a good idea because it reduces the risks of people breaking self isolation or the virus spreading through a designated quarantine hotel. Hospitals in theory will have the highest ability to carry out quarantine to a higher standard.
Dr. John, I have been pre diabetic for several years 110-120 every morning. Now, after changing nothing but Vitamin D, it's gone!!!!! 97-102 for two weeks now. I can even eat some sugar now. Thank You!
The same thing is happening for people that suffer from high blood pressure and depression. Yet the medical community sill for the most part ignores these facts in America.
The one constant and the one calm in this storm has been you. When asked about the Pandemic years from now, I will tell the story of this Dr. in England and how I and thousands watched him for his intelligence and caring. And how he calmed us and informed us. And most of all making us feel we were not alone during this dark, chaotic, frightful time.
Claire, why won’t the good Brit doctor Campbell mention I-MASK+ or even talk about all the studies backing up the use of ivermectin? I’ve mentioned it to him probably ten times and he ignores it. How much longer can he continue to ignore it? Shocking, disappointing, and disquieting what is going on in the USA for certain.
@@MStClair-zk8vv Dr Campbell is very conservative. I doubt he would examine a drug unless it was approved for Covid. It is disappointing. I was surprised that he reviewed the HCQ trials and the toxic dose used. I’m disappointed that he doesn’t cover IVM but perhaps with this growing body of evidence he may t least mention it.
Worth noting that the cases in Australia in the past couple of days, and certainly the majority of new cases over the past couple of months, are overseas arrivals ie returning Australian citizens, diplomats and permanent residents. Australia, with the exception of the state of Victoria, has had very low community spread of the virus of late.
0f the 908 deaths, the first 100 were from the cruise ships, the remainder from stuff ups with compulsory 14 day hotel quarantine transmission into the community.
It was clear from the first UK case that asymptomatic spread was happening. That was February! WHO kept denying asymptomatic spread saying "no it's pre-symptomatic not asymptomatic" and we were all like "no, people who don't have any any symptoms can spread it" and they were like, "They're not asymptomtic, they're pre-symptomatic" and we were like, "Yeah but they don't have any symptoms and that's asymptomatic" and they were all like "That's not what asymptomatic means, it means people who never get any symptoms" and we were like "people are spreading covid without any symptoms, whether they go onto have symptoms or not!" And they were like "oh really? Oh Ok I see what you mean" ... "Hey everyone, people spread asymptomatically" and we were like, "So we should all wear masks then shouldn't we?" And they were like "everyone wear masks now" And we were like so it's airborne then is it .....? And they were like "It's not airborne" for months and months Then they were like "Hey everyone, it's a little bit airborne!"

At an estimated number of people in the USA to be 15 to 30%,, of a population of 72 million that's 10.8 to 21.6 million already have developed a natural immunity. To come close to this number from a vaccine to get an additional immunity with an additional double jab we need approximately 30 million doses. Even if we achieve this kind of immunization, from natural and synthetic, do we get to an estimated 40% herd immunity.
@@robertlivingston360 My understanding is that you would need 65% to 75% for herd immunity, if true, a lot more cases or immunisations would be needed than you suggest. Edit, there are over 300 million people in the USA btw 72 million is UK population size.
I have obtained a number of antibody test kits, and have testing friends, relatives and patients. The tests are very accurate in confirming antibodies in known recovered patients. My observation is that almost universally people are fairly confident that since they are not getting the disease right now they probably have had it in the past and recovered, and are immune. This has not been true. People that had a cold or flu last spring, had the cold or flu and not COVID. I think many people have a false sense of security that is not justified. If more took this test and saw the negative results, they may realize they need to be more careful. These test are now widely available, and inexpensive. Also would allow people that have natural antibodies, not to be in the front of the line for a vaccine.
I think antibodies ware off in about six months, so you could test negative but your T Cells still remember how to combat Covid so people could still be ok ... thing is apparently it’s a lot harder to test the T Cells.
If the government is not going to pay people's wages, they have no business telling them to stay home. (People would be a lot more compliant if they did.)
So the other option is to be fully open, cases skyrocket, hospitals fill to over capacity, not enough health care workers, they begin triage. People stay home to die that could have made it with treatment, deaths number in the 9-10 thousand range per day. People still, for the most part won't go to restaurants or other businesses and we still have layoffs. People that have other health emergencies also don't get prompt or proper attention and more of those die than usual. You find this preferable? Really?
@@dallastaylor5479 people should not be made to choose between starving and catching covid19. People need income. Mental health and despair are claiming thousands of lives because, people have no hope, no money to pay bills. Congress gave banks a $1 trillion per day guarantee but a pitiful $1200 to normal people. Civilized countries are paying people their full wages during the lock downs. There shouldn't be a choice but if businesses are going to be forced closed, they simply have to give people money. If they won't, how can they tell people to sit home and die?
I'm not an incredibly healthy eater, but I don't eat junk -- in fact, if I'm away from home and intolerably hungry, and there's only some little gas station bodega available (for social reasons), I spend a lot of time reading labels before succumbing, and recognize I've taken at least a slight hit to my health. I comfort myself that it's not what you eat on one day out of a hundred that hurts you. But I do take doses of Vitamin C that some would find absurd, and doses of Vitamin D3 (with K) that used to be considered hazardous (and still are, by some). If I wanted to tempt fate, I'd say that I haven't gotten a cold in over ten years, and I never get the flu, but I don't want to, so I won't say that.

For the rest of the world outside Australia, what of those who die as a result of COVID but not from COVID? 27:30 I'm looking here at the resources of a hospital being monopolised by treating COVID patients and there are others who will die from appendicitis, MCI, pneumonia, or anything else for that matter. Many US hospitals are at, or very close to, capacity for dealing with COVID patients. If people there had done what we did in Australia and New Zealand, this would not be an issue.
Australia - Probably worth mentioning that just about every case for the last month has been an international traveler/returnee arriving via plane. (besides a blip in SA) If you compare local/community transmission vs hotel quarantine it tells an even better picture.
On the Australian health website it publishes the imported case numbers for the last 7 days. Also just quickly search news on the matter because all cases of community transmission are national news, the US it's become news only if it's a high level politician or Trump associate, the news picks 1 case out of the 2,000 deaths for the day.
There is no substitute for honesty in communication, especially in the face of pressure to negate or moderate the scientific predictions. The Minister for Health and the Secretary of the Health Department (both as high up the Parliamentary ladder as can be) resigned a month or so ago, perhaps they predicted their future... 🧐 Anyways watch this space for the outcome, I think there’ll be some accountability fallout for sure.

Never forget a half truth is still a LIE
Well, as long as people have to be governed by laws and legislation, instead of by a sense of shared civic responsibility, people will always be able to circumnavigate laws. It's impossible for a law to cover every circumstance involving every individual situation...and for this very reason, lawyers will always be able to find exceptions for self-centred individuals (corporations) wishing to bypass laws.
@@amiesparkle00 The White House was testing everyone who came in contact with President Trump he still got the COVID.

The loss of life from nonCovid causes is already rising in the US. Some suggest that people are afraid to go to the hospital because of the pandemic.
There are also multiple reports of people being flown interstate for urgent ICU treatment for non Covid complaints.
( That's Australians returning home)
we have done so well. Kudos to our leaders.

I don't. I'm dismayed. There's a covid solution that John's ignoring. Watch these doctor's press conference:

@@OceanFrontVilla3 I thought that was going to take me a loon site. Good post very interesting, maybe John doesn’t know about Ivermectin and it’s not something we can just pick up, as you know he’s educated us in taking VitD that i’m sure all that follow him are taking which will help.
@@keithturner4939
Agreed on vitamin D.
John must know about ivermectin by now. There have been several mentions daily and he's ignored all of them. Notice how he's not replying to anyone anymore?
My guess is that Pharma has pressured him with removal of his site as he's no longer looking at the science other than vaccines. There are medical professionals in the US and Europe questioning the fast track approval and raising serious concerns that he's not addressing. I've completely lost faith I'm afraid. He's a good person, a fine teacher but he has no real concern for humanity or he'd stand up to his handlers and he would speak out.
@@OceanFrontVilla3 I don’t believe he’s been pressured by anyone, I feel he’s impartial .... He’s focused on the vaccines as they’re the hot topic and he won’t give his concerns (if he has any) due to lack of evidence, I would imagine he’s waiting for the peer reviewed papers so he has reference to talk from .... which does flag a problem for me (I have no medical knowledge) but I would of thought the government would wait for the peer review before rolling out the vaccine 🤔

The site that shows the press conference has 35 studies including gold standard ones. He's covered reports and studies of less quality than that. Even the vaccine "announcements" that based their efficacy data on less than 200 people in the trial who got the virus.

I've been watching your videos since the beginning of this Pandemic and I want to thank you for all the information and time you've spent on this.
Where I am, my governor is weak. No enforcement on masks mandates.

Your right, sir. Zero accountability. Everywhere.
Thank you for your videos! I look forward to them.

Thank you Dr. Campbell.
Good information! Thanks, Dr. John. Also, great job putting a mask on Winston. 😄
I'd like to know more about the nature of asymptomatic illness and transmission. Thank you very much for your time and attention.
You're not old fashioned; Accountability has been hugely lacking world wide this entire pandemic, as you said. Thanks once again for a wonderfully thoughtful, well informed video.
Thank you John ,I stay updated due to your wonderful videos. I have watched every single one since covid started.
Just wanted to clarify that the numbers for cases in Australia are ALL in hotel quarantine from overseas visitors, in fact we have not had any community cases. Just wanted you to know that we have had over 40 days without a case in Victoria. QLD has had 85 days since a community case. Take care and Thank you
I’m from the government and I’m here to help... One of the great lies.
Oh, let us move beyond the Reagan fetishism. If we had a proper gvt in the US, we'd have some payments for workers to stay home when sick (instead of tax breaks to huge corporations), we'd have Defense Production Act back in the spring to produce PPE, vaccines, etc. For crying out loud, this is the country that put the man on the moon and people still cannot get tested in many states! I am SO angry.
Totally can feel your anger aswell. Also air transmission was very likely from the start etc.
Of course it was, otherwise we would have seen transmission rates similar to Ebola and SARS1.
Commonsense told those blessed with it form the start this is how a virus works.
@@maegary439
Not all work exactly like this (To this extent) But since it wasn't KNOWN how transmissible SARS Cov2 was, "They" should have "erred on the side of caution" until they KNEW FOR CERTAIN.

It will be the end of us. We are about to head into a depression never seen since before both world wars. It took 10 years for each war to fully start. The economy each time dropped 10%. Ours has dropped 20%.
This will cause untold damage to both the NHS and other frontline services as the money will just dry up. We can’t just keep printing money. Next year is going to be horrific and it’s nothing to do with Covid, but our reaction too it.
The Coronavirus Act is just like Hitlers socialist movements that started in the 1930s. Small businesses crumbing everywhere that pay tax to support services. While mega corporations take more power and pay almost no tax. This is not the future I want for my children. I guess I just have to watch the chaos unfold. These vaccine will save no one that would have died anyway

Best overview of the pandemic, with NO POLITICS. Thank you for your expertise in all that you present. I value your straight forward explanation.
I’m never tired of hearing your Ted Talks. They are the voice of reason for this in the midst of this insanity and mis information
Thanks for the update Dr John
Australia - Probably worth mentioning that just about every case for the last month has been an international traveler/returnee arriving via plane. (besides a blip in SA) If you compare local/community transmission vs hotel quarantine it tells an even better picture.
On the Australian health website it publishes the imported case numbers for the last 7 days. Also just quickly search news on the matter because all cases of community transmission are national news, the US it's become news only if it's a high level politician or Trump associate, the news picks 1 case out of the 2,000 deaths for the day.
I would like to wait for the Oxford/Astrazeneca vaccine. Where can I find information on it? Will it be provided to the US, if so, when? Thank you.
There is no substitute for honesty in communication, especially in the face of pressure to negate or moderate the scientific predictions. The line from A Few Good Men, “ ...you can’t handle the truth...”, has never been so true. Until we demand to be treated as adults and insist on politicians and bureaucrats that, lay their careers on the line in order to do the duty the pledged to do, this will always be the case. Until citizens place higher value on the ideal of honesty, rather than momentary, feel good messaging, this is what we’re left to deal with. It seems the world is filled with of age people pretending to be adults.
One thing we require is a count of infection cases. A proper count, not just posting the daily test totals.
Brazil, Argentina, and Mexico are all using ivermectin.
Are you going to talk about the studies coming out massively in favor of ivermectin?

He won’t discuss it. I’ve tried innumerable times. And yet, the I-MASK+ protocol is saving thousands upon thousands of lives the world over and with people here in the USA who know of Dr. Paul Marik’s diligent work on this issue. It’s being suppressed, likely due to the push for a vaccine and the need that many in the top-dog Medico Pharma complex have for pricey and novel solutions when frankly, an inexpensive and completely safe, old repurposed drug does wonders for quick recovery. I know. I recommend it to all my outpatient Covid patients and not one has yet had to go to hospital. Of those treated for their disease for the first time in hospital because they were not aware of in-home treatment, the mortality rate is rock bottom low for those on MATH+, the protocol for hospitalized patents with Covid-19. Tell that to the NIH and CDC and they look the other way. Disquieting doesn’t begin to cover it... Something is deeply wrong, folks. Wake up. Your government is “just not that into you.”
Ivermectin has antiinflammatory properties just like Aspirin, Ibuprofen and Tylonol. Taking any of those can reduce an excessive inflammatory response, if that’s the problem.
It also has antiviral properties proven in vitro, at concentrations that equals 100 times a normal dose (as demonstrated in this paper by Caly et al)
