I think this episode touched a lot of people. Most fans of the show just moved on, but there’s a set amount of us who still think about Eastman, and Aikido, and Morgan’s struggle. I come by and listen to this music every once in a while. It nearly makes me cry!
A lot of TWD stayed until around Season 8. S8 ruined TWD, poor and weak story progression, the poor handling of the war, gimple speak, lackluster filler episodes. I used to think S8 was the worst until…season 11. What an awful mess and wet fart.
This is my favorite episode of the entire Walking Dead series ever. The ambience, the piano, the dialogues, the aikido training, the forest, the sound of the birds. Everything in this episode is so peaceful, therapeutic and heartwarming, it makes me feel like home.
First time I watched this episode, hearing this music play as Morgan walked by Eastman's grave made me tear up a little. If it wasn't for Eastman, Morgan would have still been insane and never find Rick
It’s fun to think about how much Eastman affected the series with just Walking Dead alone. Fear would be so much different as well if not for Eastman!!
The show helped pull me out of a dark place, and the episode itself felt analogous in a lot of ways to the situation I was in. It's helped me be better, try more new things as opposed to just wallowing away in pity and misery, and it'll hold a special place in my heart for it.
The piano that played at the end of this episode was beautiful. It brought tears to my eye. It's got a slight sadness to it, but also a sense of inner peace
Watched this episode today again. The first time I watched it was when it aired live and I was still watching the show in real time. I have a new appreciation for Eastman and his philosophy than I did all those years ago. I even just bought The Art of Peace so I can read it. Thank you TWD for this.
"The pessimist looks down and hits his head, the optimist looks up and looses his footing, the realist looks forward and adjusts to the path" -King Ezekiel (TWD)
This calms you down, and gives you hope... The show does the same. Gives you a glimmer of hope and calms you down before showing you how f''ed up everything is. Best soundtrack from twd
This soundtrack is absolutely beautiful. This was my favorite episode of season 6 (yes, I liked it better than episode 8). Lennie James and Eastman's actor did a phenomenal job. Great performances by both and I'm happy we got to see why Morgan came to the realization that all life is precious. Eastman was a great character. Thanks B. Claimed for uploading this! Keep it up!
i actually think that it was one of the best episodes of the entire series. It was so different from any other episode. And the score...I have no words for the beauty of this entire piece of art
When things get hectic in my life or when the drama starts to hurt, I listen to this and it brings calmness and peace over me, thank you for posting this friend.
Absolutely phenomenal. Bear really hit the nail on the head with the scores in this episode. Quite possibly an all time favorite of mine now. Thank you so much for ripping these!
Even though I do agree with you, yet in that world(and maybe to even define his character for the crossover) it was inevitable. As much I do agree with all of Eastman's views and code which should be lived today, I feel Morgan was gonna gmhave to kill again no matter what. Or they would've iced him off the show.
I struggle with depression and suicidal thoughts. Sometimes when I need to center myself late at night, I take a walk and just listen to this and “Beth’s Theme” from “Broadchurch” on repeat for an hour or two.
This is my favorite episode, not only of season 6, not only of the entire walking dead, but of every show I’ve seen ever. This episode will probably forever be my favorite piece of media. No matter how many times I rewatch this episode it always brings a tear to my eye. Everything from Morgan’s struggle and loss of sanity to finding peace and being taught that all life is precious is so beautifully done❤️
I lost my grand father and i've played this song to find peace. Im a little french guy and today i cry because i lost my captain but i will keep moving forward for him !
This was TWD at its absolute peak. When on song the TWD could nail it with an episode with a fitting score. This was true perfection. The pacing, the story. It took everyone right out of TWD for a short while to show that somewhere there was still purity and peace in the world. It gave hope. I am in no doubt that when the series ends, I shall watch again from the word go and I will have that feeling of when getting to the end of TWD season 6 that it wouldn’t reach much higher than that spell of season 3-6 which was TWD at its finest. Seeing Morgan leave the TWD for FTWD was sad for me as I thought his storyline was the most unique and it was a shame Dwight never got that moment either as that episode in season 7 where he goes to that house to meet Sherry was beautiful. Looking back I feel there was a passing of the torch moment when Morgan left and Negan started his own journey of redemption.
I originally skipped this episode because i wanted to see Rick and the survivors story….just watched this episode last night for the first time 😢😢😢 My god man what a beautiful episode
When i was younger i was not a fan of this show but I saw this episode and i thought it was incredible. Now I'm going thru the show as an adult and just thinking of this scene makes me tear up
After everything that has happened it's nice to be able to just go back and listen to this track given the whole Saviors dilemma I hope to hear this piece in season 7 but I hope it wouldn't mean the death of Morgan cuz I'll be pissed.
And I was right after last Sunday's episode when Ezekiel and Benjamin's bro were planting the seeds this song came back but with a different melody to it
For me, this song is very nostalgic and reminiscent. Makes me think of all the times me and my friends would be walking out in the desert with the cold winter breeze. What I wouldn't give to do it again, just one more time.
Morgan: and that's it.... every last bit. Wolf: so you think that could happen to me? Morgan: Yes. I think it might have happened to the Wolf leader actually because he risked a bite to the arm to save Denise, the community doctor. Had Carol not shot him, he would have been a valuable member of the group because I actually liked that particular Wolf character.
Great episode probably the best as I came back to the show having watched 6 seasons it became a bit depressing lol. But boy the whole back story for Morgan was easily the best in the show as it had such a deeper meaning to the characters life and also fans of the show as how many times have we been broken and wanted to give up, lash out. I immediately meditated to get through my own problems and if anyone is struggling you always have a voice just listen to yours and find peace.
I’m gonna be real. When I first watched this episode in 2016, I didn’t like it, and in every resit through the show, I’d always skip this episode and just straight up miss it out, but tonight I decided to rewatch this episode, and 5 years on, everything In this episode hit different. There was just something about it that really hit home. And this theme in particular (right at the end when Morgan saw the Terminus sign) I just started tearing up for no reason. And so I had to find the theme. This show is something else and now this episode sits among my favourite episodes of twd of all time
If only they would've show him come across a burnt down, walker filled terminus. sometimes they miss, great missed opportunity shots in flashbacks! But I can understand why tho for location purposes.
+randy7027 I don't think he ever reached Terminus. Once he found the 'No Sanctuary' sign he trailed off into the woods following Gareth's markings which led to the school. But, that would have been amazing though. I love it when you see things you never thought you'd see again, like how the prison was in about 5 episodes after it was destroyed. I'm still hoping we'll see it again.
Siempre pensaba, porque Morgan no mata a nadie? es un perdedor, ahora me doy cuenta porque, cualquiera que haya vivido esa experiencia podría dejar atrás todo el odio y coraje y poder vivir en paz aunque otras personas no lo estén
I think this episode touched a lot of people. Most fans of the show just moved on, but there’s a set amount of us who still think about Eastman, and Aikido, and Morgan’s struggle. I come by and listen to this music every once in a while. It nearly makes me cry!
Same here! Morgan's story is beautiful. A true redemption story.
So, so true. This episode was special.
Agreed this is probably my favorite episode because it feels like a real walking dead moment
A lot of TWD stayed until around Season 8. S8 ruined TWD, poor and weak story progression, the poor handling of the war, gimple speak, lackluster filler episodes.
I used to think S8 was the worst until…season 11. What an awful mess and wet fart.
Amen brother amen I still watch the show
this episode is better than all the walking dead episodes , its like a little movie.
this episode is awesome I will put this episode number 3 on my list!
It honestly could have been its own stand alone film!
I loved this episode. It shows the regeneration of Morgan. Thats why he is one of my favourite characters. He saw the good in people.
They did a great job making this episode. A lot of depth about trauma and character development
This is my favorite episode of the entire Walking Dead series ever.
The ambience, the piano, the dialogues, the aikido training, the forest, the sound of the birds.
Everything in this episode is so peaceful, therapeutic and heartwarming, it makes me feel like home.
Phantom_PR -_- best episode too
I still agree with this comment 😁☝️
Still the best episode
I thought I was the only one that felt that way about this episode. Yes still my favorite episode!
Im ok with you 🕊☀️
My favourite episode. It helps me in my everyday life. I was a better person after seeing this.
Same
Mark O'Connell same
Guess life can change
NEGAN because this episode shows that no matter what the circumstances people can change for the better, even if there is no apocalypse.
NEGAN how can you tell HIM to grow up when your name litteraly is negan.. lmao
First time I watched this episode, hearing this music play as Morgan walked by Eastman's grave made me tear up a little. If it wasn't for Eastman, Morgan would have still been insane and never find Rick
ConMan 667 exactly
Me too!
It’s fun to think about how much Eastman affected the series with just Walking Dead alone. Fear would be so much different as well if not for Eastman!!
Eastman should've been in more episodes.
Being here in 2021 and still seeing how everyone feels the same is mind blowing and comforting. It helps to know that everyone’s the same in some way
The show helped pull me out of a dark place, and the episode itself felt analogous in a lot of ways to the situation I was in.
It's helped me be better, try more new things as opposed to just wallowing away in pity and misery, and it'll hold a special place in my heart for it.
There’s something so special about this episode. It warms the heart, and it fills my soul. A truly great example of TWD at its absolute finest.
That piano bit is beautiful
The piano that played at the end of this episode was beautiful. It brought tears to my eye. It's got a slight sadness to it, but also a sense of inner peace
It's beautiful
Watched this episode today again. The first time I watched it was when it aired live and I was still watching the show in real time. I have a new appreciation for Eastman and his philosophy than I did all those years ago. I even just bought The Art of Peace so I can read it. Thank you TWD for this.
What a powerful score to wrap up the flashback
+ExaustedSugar Indeed, it's incredibly powerful and that is simply one of the best shots they've ever used.
this episode was by far one of the best ones I saw in this series...I liked how a broken and nearly insane morgan found peace and redemption
"The pessimist looks down and hits his head, the optimist looks up and looses his footing, the realist looks forward and adjusts to the path"
-King Ezekiel (TWD)
Best episode of TWD, I watch it when I eel angry or volatile..this theme is beautiful
had to cry at this episode
Dr.Richard Trager sometimes i feel like crying too like when beth died and tyler james williams
Justin DePriest when Beth died I was pisssssed! Grew to my top 3 favorite characters quickly after the farm. What a stupid ass ending.
I definitely cried with this episode because Morgan found his peace
This calms you down, and gives you hope... The show does the same. Gives you a glimmer of hope and calms you down before showing you how f''ed up everything is. Best soundtrack from twd
This episode had the best score to date. Amazing.
+Orion 'What Happened And What's Going On' has the best.
+Negan Patriot i agree
+Negan Patriot just my personal opinion... thats all. The whole show in general has an amazing score.
+Orion you are so right!!
Keep it up!
Agreed!
i actually think that it was one of the best episodes of the entire series. It was so different from any other episode. And the score...I have no words for the beauty of this entire piece of art
powerful and thought-provoking.. beautiful score. Its pieces like this where Bear Mcreary absolutely excels at
i don't know why but when this scene popped up i started choking up a little.
shock?
6 years later and this is still the greatest TWD episode ever made ❤️
When things get hectic in my life or when the drama starts to hurt, I listen to this and it brings calmness and peace over me, thank you for posting this friend.
This song just reminds me how long it's been since the beginning
Aleks Murkoff fr dude
Especially nowadays, 10 years man! 10 years.. damn..
Absolutely phenomenal. Bear really hit the nail on the head with the scores in this episode. Quite possibly an all time favorite of mine now. Thank you so much for ripping these!
Season 1-6 was peak/gold TWD.
This theme is amazing. the walking dead is the best show of all time. Eastman helped Morgan find a new will to live

MrRepoman197 i forgot that the show was the walking dead after i saw this episode
MrRepoman197 not anymore, they fucked it up

@@rushrosvall9879 same, it brought me many tears
@@Julianrocker200 I think it’s when eastmans on the brink of death he tells Morgan he’s gonna find Ppl and hold a baby again
@@pyr1412 thank you
@Lindsay Alexina it was a line from the episode this song was from.
“Here’s Not Here” had such fabulous music. I come back to this episode many times to sooth my soul. Thanks for posting this
What makes this music even sadder is that its meaning might be lost now... Morgan sharpened the Aikido stick.
Even though I do agree with you, yet in that world(and maybe to even define his character for the crossover) it was inevitable. As much I do agree with all of Eastman's views and code which should be lived today, I feel Morgan was gonna gmhave to kill again no matter what. Or they would've iced him off the show.
The most kind hearted and friendly person ever introduced in the walking dead universe
This is one of my favorite episodes of The Walking Dead. It's a very insightful episode.
I enjoyed this episode so much, especially the soundtrack
This is my absolute favourite score without hesitation! It really hits me
This makes me truly at peace with life. This episode and this music is the only form of video that ever makes me cry. Truly a masterpiece
If you have ever had any kind of personal demons which most of us do. This episode speaks to you ❤
Best episode ever
I struggle with depression and suicidal thoughts. Sometimes when I need to center myself late at night, I take a walk and just listen to this and “Beth’s Theme” from “Broadchurch” on repeat for an hour or two.
I know this is late but hope you're doing better now and if not hope things improve for you :)
This is my favorite episode, not only of season 6, not only of the entire walking dead, but of every show I’ve seen ever. This episode will probably forever be my favorite piece of media. No matter how many times I rewatch this episode it always brings a tear to my eye. This is what we call "humanity", help each other, because every life is precious 😢
God... I love THE WALKING DEAD
I lost my grand father and i've played this song to find peace. Im a little french guy and today i cry because i lost my captain but i will keep moving forward for him !
"I fixed your spear". I love this episode so much.
Such an emotional and amazing score
Simply MAGNIFICENT episode, the best episode of the entire series at least for me. I felt something after I watched it that I still can't explain.
This was TWD at its absolute peak. When on song the TWD could nail it with an episode with a fitting score. This was true perfection. The pacing, the story. Morgan Jones.
He is very cool in season 6 of Fear The Walking Dead
Played this as I drove out of Fort Lewis on my first day of terminal leave
At the time wasn't wanting to see a Morgan episode, was ready for the story to go on but yet this episode ended up being one of my favorites.
I originally skipped this episode because i wanted to see Rick and the survivors story….just watched this episode last night for the first time 😢😢😢
My god man what a beautiful episode
only tv show to move me to tears
My favorite episode 😁
Thus far this season has had many callbacks to the others and this scence was definitely an example of just that.
When i was younger i was not a fan of this show but I saw this episode and i thought it was incredible. Now I'm going thru the show as an adult and just thinking of this scene makes me tear up

And I was right after last Sunday's episode when Ezekiel and Benjamin's bro were planting the seeds this song came back but with a different melody to it
Eastman: “I hope its lucky for you too…whatever you decide.”
Morgan: “I’ve decided…”
Such a strong episode even tho it’s so simple. Morgan letting the two go at the end after they thank him gets me every time 😭
For me, this song is very nostalgic and reminiscent. Makes me think of all the times me and my friends would be walking out in the desert with the cold winter breeze. What I wouldn't give to do it again, just one more time.
Deep AF episode loved how much eastman helped morgan RIP eastman

Beautiful , fantastic Sound !!!
EASTMAN WAS THE TRUE MAIN HERO OF THE WALKING DEAD
Beatiful soundtrack! i loved this ep. i still feel bad about Eastman's death
Almost reminds me of the episode "coda" from season 5. After when Beth was killed off
@Justin DePriest
Hated hated? Or emotionally hated?
I thought it was a pretty good episode ngl.
I loved this track
I LOVED this episode
It's funny to now know that Terminus was probably the most vile, disgusting place ever in The Walking Dead
Everyone forgot about the walking dead old episodes
Few legends will always come back to listen ❤🌠
I’m so glad we could hear this in ftwd, it made me excited and sad to see Morgan talking to Eastmans grave one last time
Great episode probably the best as I came back to the show having watched 6 seasons it became a bit depressing lol.
