Farming is'nt as lonely as it was you have youtube and alot of ways to meet people and if you want peace and quiet you have it keep up with the music i think if you have a talent use it a few purebreds or rare breed cows would suit the farm

Back in the eighties when set aside started we always had trouble with germination on that land, variety made no difference

Costello requires an early drilling date, good seedbed and a helping hand to get it going. Last year our Costello yielded the best

Surprised u have slug problems. Great seedbed. Old seed is your problem. Use fresh seed.
