    X coordinate for A2 isn't 175.5 rather 174.54
    U guys should try to solve 200-[4(60)/3π]=174.54
    And thats normal getting a different answer because of the discrepancy. I got (x,y) = (97.65 ,96.86)

    As all sides are equal we need to take it as a square but you took it as a rectangle.

    Can you explain mathematically why we can always find a line through a lamina (eg a horizontal line y=a in some coordinate system on the lamina) such that the moments on either side of this line sum to zero. It's intuitively obvious physically (hanging plumb lines etc) but I just can't prove this mathematically. The mathematics involves the integral of all the moments of every point mass of the lamina on either side of such a line, putting this integral equal to zero and solving for the coordinate of the centre of mass. But why can we always assume we can put such an integral equal to zero in the first place.

    X axis is 200cm
    Y axis is 120+40+40=200cm
    Then it must be square not a rectangle

    Sir here for the triangle, when we find the X position of the centroid, won't we take the measurement b/3 from the vertex between hypotenuse and the adjacent side, and if that is true then we will have to do (80 - b/3), ryt?

    I got different final answers for x and y.
    x=120.42 cm.
    y=103.30 cm.
    Idk but we got the same solution and values.
