I have yet to accomplish a smooth tumbler. I spend more time sanding than I do creating. ☹ Every tumbler ends up with dents or fish eyes and I've tried so many things to prevent this, to no avail. This tumbler is BEAUTIFUL and I truly enjoyed watching the process. 🤗
Thank you!! I’ll be posting another video of this style tumbler this week using different colors as well! What helped me the most was switching my epoxy to Counter Culture Artist resin. It’s a thicker epoxy and helps coat the tumbler better which leaves less to be sanded. Also, after you add your glitter be sure to smooth it down with parchment paper so no jagged pieces are sticking up.
Super beautiful tumbler!! I seen a tumbler that Vanessa did a couple of years back I think. I wanted to try it then and never did. I seen yours and thought, ok now I have to give it a try!! So Thank you so much for sharing your talent! Also, can I ask what size did you cut the tree line and snowflakes at?
The snowflakes were cut at 1.5, 2, & 2.5 inches. For the treeline, you will need to measure around your tumbler once your epoxy is smooth and then add 1/4 inch for overlap.
Beautiful!!
Thank you so much!!
