I swear this speaks about covid lockdowns and the pandemic. Crazy how the lyrics fit. You know if this is 12yrs old the upload I dunno how I’ve only found it now? Cheers.
Going through bad times 97 still loved my music with the monkey on my back, what a fucking track this is, emotional but still love it, I hope you see what I see, I hope you feel what I feel
TELL ME SOME SINGERS THAT THEY HAVE SUCH A GOOD VOICE WITH JUST A GUITAR AND A MICROPHONE.. VERY FEW... I WAS LUCKY THAT I HAD YOU IN MY VAN THE LAST SUMMER IN GREECE!!!
That is kind of uncalled for, Richard and Liam are both great artist. I've never understood why some people cant like both and ENJOY THE MUSIC. Instead of always trying to segregate the two. Either way, lovely performance of one of my favorite songs.
@ABITTERSWEETGIRL The Manchester Evening News review was terrible, either the reporter was'nt actually there or they are tone deaf......!!!!! The gig was awesome and a credit to Mr Ashcroft and his new band.
brighton59 if this was the academy gig I was there and yes it was a sublime gig. wanna my best ever. The new stuff live was great and this acoustic session really blew me away
Brighton59 wow wasn't a dig at ur copy I meant I can't find a cd type of copy that isn't live. Wasn't judging yours. I guess my comment didn't read how I meant it to sound.
Watching this again in 24.
Can't wait to see Richard support oasis next year.

What does he sing at the end - "to eat my pain" or "to ease my pain"?
I got to learn to ease my pain, walk through the door and kiss the rain

Gemma go try and upload your own recorded version from the same gig and I'll then judge if it's any better
Seems like this song is aboute loosing senses, something you've lost and you need to escape to charge up your spirituality.
