Very nice e-piano sound, I am impressed by all the features and instruments. And that was fantastic improv throughout, well done. I really enjoyed the jazz at the end of the video.
Thank you for demonstrating most of the rhythms and most of the sounds, especially the brass sounds. Thank you. In this times, where the music stores are requested not to receive customers, videos like this shows me perfectly, how the piano will match my needs. And next week we show, how good a car is, when the road is perfectly flat....
Aside from the keyboard, which is quite impressive, NICE PLAYING, man. They are LUCKY to have you. Well done. Give this man a raise (and no I'm NOT a relative)!
You should test how the piano digital sound quality is by playing the classical one, cause them included how to play in dinamic, forte piano, stacato etc..
For me its Grand Piano patch at 12:52 sounds exactly the same as in Privia PX-350M, which I own and was released in 2012. Not a single improvement in tone, sample, reverb or harmonic resonance. Nothing ¬_¬
Hi there, Great review of the PX-S3000 , I tried one at the store! My idea is to do a left hand bass split with organ or piano on top and sing over the various drum patterns; busking basically. My questions are: 1] Is a registration basically a saved performance? 2] Can I edit the volume of the drum patterns or instruments and save that that as a registration/performance . 3] Can I name it? 4] Can I easily change the registration/performance really fast for a live set? If so. how many song template registrations could I have saved and ready. Thanks in advance, Jim from Vancouver.
@Jacob Dupre, what would you recommend in terms of learning to play? I heard some people complain about the depth on the s1000. im a total beginner to piano (well almost beginner), im a guitar player wanting to improve my production skills and need to learn piano I feel for that. I'm debating this between a px 560 which seems like a poor mans nord stage 3. i could get the px 560, or get the s3000 and save the cash from the px560 for real synths (which i would get anyway)...suggestions?
@@naanda-tteme Got it yesterday. The keybed is surprisingly good. Of course its not perfect. The drums are WAY too sharp and loud and painful to listen too and I suggest Casio will make a update on this asap. Cuz the instrument is pretty good in itself and deserve some updates if its possible
@Egg _ Ok well, for the intro song the guy played, does the PX-S1000 have the same piano sounds that he used in the PX-S3000? I'm interested in the electric piano (?) and effects that he used specifically for that song from 0:00 - 0:42.

Hello! Unfortunately I'm not aware of any digital piano which will allow you to adjust tuning micro tonally, every instrument I know of will be set to equal temperament tuning (though it is usually a standard piano feature to transpose by semitone). Korg PA series arranger keyboards, however, do have some Arabic non equal temperament scaled instruments: www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/Pa700OR--korg-pa700-oriental-61-key-arranger-workstation If you'd like to go into more detail, please call my number below. @@sweetwater Uhhhh - The PX-S3000 can choose from one of 17 scales - Equal Temperment is just the default. Many of the Yamaha YDP-series (maybe other series too) can choose between: 1. Equal Temperment 2. Pure Major or Pure Minor 3. Pythagorean 4. Mean Tone 5. Werckmeister or Kirnberger. That is 7 choices, so I am not sure what you mean.

You're not alone there. I'm gonna give it the benefit of the doubt and say it's the video and not the piano itself. So far this piano looks great to me but if it lacks lower end like you say then that's a huge turnoff

I bought one of these and the pitch bend wheel loudly vibrates when I play lower end keys at higher volumes through the speakers. That's a real problem for the $800 price.
Music store near me is having a sale. Casio PX S3000 1299CAD and Roland FP30 for 1199CAD. I know Casio PXS3000 was originally like 1899CAD so it is a more expensive instrument. But the keys on Casio felt very light to me and the piano sound sounded better on Roland. Roland keys felt a little heavier for my taste so I wish there was something in between but I was wondering if anyone has tried these both instruments. The staff at the store wasn't helpful so I was wondering if somebody here can help me out.
you may want to look at Kawai digital pianos. Their keys are closest to a grand piano. Take a look at Kawai ES8 or MP7SE pianos as they have RHIII keys which are better than the ones on Kawai ES110 models. If you choose a portable keyboard mainly based on the keys (like me), then Roland is unbeatable with its price range especially with the FP10 and FP30 models. Yamaha piano key action gets better with higher price. But you should start looking at GH3 and above (GH3X and NW series etc). GH also might be good for beginners. But GHS is not that good. Yamaha has a portable dig. piano called P515. You might like it. At that price point there are Roland FP60 and Kawai ES8. So these 3 are comparable. Kawai can soon make a new model in this price range though.
Another well experienced channel on UA-cam called this essentially worse than a toy.Too bad, I was so close to getting it. Now I have to rethink which one to get in the price range that has worthwhile features.
Expectation: Casio-we have developed a new keyboard, now we have integrated a triple sensor in the budget cdp models for better responsiveness, and added a polyphonic aftertouch to the flagship pxs3000 and pxs1000. Reality: Casio - we've made the keyboard a bit more compact, but removed in the flagship model, triple sensor, but did not mention that and what else is there to say about a rehearsal that is not worse than with a triple sensor.... Pfff despite the fact that in the s3000 sound almost close to the reference sound I'm really disappointed technological degradation, I'm on another is not called, because if you use a MIDI keyboard cdps100 and pxs3000 it will be one and the same instrument.
I have the casio privia pxs3100 and I assure you that it's a phenomenal instrument and is absolutely gorgeous.

Yes, this piano has the AC7 style format, the tone format is different.

Nope. I have Adam A5x speakers with the 8" sub, and NO it does not lack bass.
It has the necessary amount of bass a real piano has, maybe it's your speakers or headphones, but believe me, it has enough low end
