"Alright you wanna play? Let's play. SAY HELLO TO MY LITTLE FRIEND!" Man that gun is the most iconic M16 Rifle ever. I was expecting it here but I was disappointed it wasn't on here.
As mentioned, MAC-10 is an overused "Bad guy gun", Proton packs don't really count as guns, and there was nothing spectacular about Agent Smith's Desert Eagle, its just big to match Hugo Weavings really big teeth.
_"You want a gun that's powerful _*_and_*_ easily hidden from your enemies? Well, if you're James Bond, that means you pack a Walther PPK"_ It's chambered for the .32 ACP round, which is a *very* low-powered handgun cartridge. And although in later films the Walther PPK is used, in _Dr. No_, while referred to as a PPK, it is actually the Walther PP that is seen on-screen -- same frame but a longer barrel.
Yeah....and it also contributed to the Princess Royal very nearly being kidnapped back in the 1980's because her CP officer's PPK snagged on his clothing. ( tell that to the RAF though - they still issue it to their perss :-) )
Actually it is a .380 acp, not a .32. It is also known as 9mm short. The "bullet" is the same size as a 9mm but the cartridge is shorter, meaning less power and range really, although barrel length obviously plays a hand in that. Nonethless, it is a 9mm short, aka a 380 ACP. I should know as I have one. Maybe the older models were .32 acp, but not currently.
The mini-gun should have made the list. If not for Arnold's use of it in T2, then for Jesse Ventura's performance in Predator, which may be the only movie to feature two future Governors. That's weird.
Sean, the M-134 used as a hand held weapon. LMFAO. You need 24 volts and 1.5kilowatts to run it, (2 car batteries, 20kg each), the rate of fire makes it useless in that role, you can't carry enough ammo for it even at its slowest rate of fire (2,000 RPM) for it to be of any use and it weighs about 39 kg, (Lightweight version 19kg). Say you have 800 rounds of ammo (44kg), at 2,000 RPM that is 24 seconds of intense fire (8 seconds at 6,000 RPM) afterwhich you then have about 60kg of useless junk, if you are going to carry that initial 100kg into the jungle in the first place you may as well take extra food, water and ammo instead.
Where's the Tommy Gun? EVERY gangster movie set before the 60's features a Thompson of some sort. The thing is iconic of the old school gangster's weapon of choice.

Back to the future III Doc Brown's converted Winchester 1866 "Yellow Boy" sniper rifle /with one hell of a scope "I shoot the fleas off a dog's back at 500 yards"
The gun from the fifth element would have deserve a place there. Flame thrower, ice thrower, net thrower, missile launcher, full auto homing bullet and arbalest kinda all in one.
Judge Dredd's Lawgiver 2, Blade's Mac-10, Snake Plissken's Coreburner, the M-79 Grenade Launcher and 1887 Winchester and Phased Plasma Rifle from T2, the Punisher's M-60 with grenade launcher, the police issue pistol from Timecop, Mad Max's sawed off shotgun, Jack Burton's TEC-9, Phaser Rifle from Star Trek First Contact, the 4 barreled Shotgun from Phantasm 2. These are a few of my favorite things.
Fun fact: the Winchester 1887 seen in Terminator 2 (one of my personal favorite flicks) was one of two original 1887 Winchester shotguns. One had a standard lever loop, while the other had an enlarged loop, and cut out trigger guard for flip cocking.
That customized Beretta M93R of Robocop surely is super neat. It was kinda longer, heavier barrel compensator/flash hider and surely pretty advanced during it's time.
***** Same goes for Dredd's gun imo. Like really, these pistols (Bond, Dirty Harry, Joker) being on the list instead of some way more creative/versatile choices make no sense at all. Even the laser gun from SW is way beyond Dredd's gun.
+Philp Roza you know I was wondering if the pyrotechnics were animated ( I hope not) but thanks for the information "old painless" by the way that's a perfect name for that gun because I I'm pretty sure you feel nothing after the first round hit you.
Assault rifles have both semi automatic and fully automatic firing modes. An AR-15 is not an assault rifle, it was modeled after an assault rifle for the consumer market. True assault rifles are very hard to acquire, despite what liberals would lead you to believe.
Several missed, most of which have already been mentioned. I would include in the top ten: Star Trek Phaser Blade Runner Revolver Doom BFG Han’s modified Mauser Broomhandle Blaster
Funny enough, Han Solo's DL-44 blaster is a modified Mauser C96 prop, and the "Aliens" M41A Pulse rifle is a Thompson Submachinegun prop with some Extra shell added on. The "Grenade launcher" as it's called is actually a modified Spas 12 shotgun prop. There are plenty more examples of old guns in star wars, like leia's defender sporting blaster (Vostok Margolin .22LR target pistol), the Empires' BlasTech E-11 blaster rifle (Sterling submachinegun), The Rebels' BlasTech DH-17 Blaster Pistol (also Sterling submachinegun, but more heavily modified), The Rebels' BlasTech A280 and A295 blaster rifles (STG 44 and M16) and lot's more. what is it with old guns in sci-fi films?
They wanted something that looked somewhat realistic and really it's easier to modify a gun that exists to look like it came from another galaxy than it is to build it from the ground up. Besides they look Damn good.
I expected to see at least a mention of the Lawgiver of Judge Dredd in this list. I know it originates from comics, but so did Hell Boy and he got a mention. Also the Lawgiver was even more badass in the movies than in the comics.
Or Die Hard lol Jonn McClane's go to gun was the MP5. he was always mowing down baddies with that. disappointed that it didn't even get a honorable mention
***** I think that he used an M16, I don't believe the M4 was invented yet. The M4 didn't come out until 1994. I haven't seen that movie in forever but it could have been a CAR-15 or XM-177 which are the earlier Vietnam versions of the M4
They also don’t even know the right name a DL-44 does not exist what they meant was a Mauser C96 but they have multiple shots of sterling Submachine guns with 10 round mags
No B.F.G. from "Doom" ? Inconceivable !! And what about the reverberating carbonizer ( with mutate capacity ) that Jeeves sold to an unlicensed cephalopod in "Men in Black" ?!
Princess Scarlet The Samaritan is from a comic, and the DL-44 and EMP-1 are pure science fiction, so it doesn't matter that it was in a video game first.
Marcos Vazquez Did you know?, In Far cry 4 theres a signature weapon that consists in a supressed Mauser gun with an Acog optics and extended mags called "HS77" making reference to Han Solo laser gun and the year of the release of the first Star wars movie.
So we all love The Terminator. I even loved salvation, I worry about genisys tho. It's got matt smith in for gods sake. Why spoil a great franchise by making a kids movie.....oh yeah... money !
Aye!! I remember it well: 1 Ultra high speed compact assault rifle firing fin stabilized, computer controlled, tracer rounds. 1 Range finding targeting computer with "replay mode." 1 10 Shot poison dart launcher. 1 All purpose rocket launcher. 1 flamethrower. 1 net launcher Cryofreezing ice sprayer. And the little hidden feature at the end.
There's a movie called " I come in peace " staring Dolph Lundgren and in it they get ahold of an Alien weapon that is extremely powerful ,that would definitely be my weapon of choice 🔫
The Thompson aka tommy gun and Chicago typewriter too as it was featured in a lot of classic gangster films like the godfather, millers crossing, and dick tracy
Qloke Don't think so? Hell, movies aside, the Spaz-12 is probably one of the most recognizable guns in the world behind the AK, M16 and the Luger. Especially considering they haven't been made or imported into this country for the last 15 years (only about 2000 of them to the US at that) but still everyone knows what it is despite few ever seeing one in person. Kinda the definition of iconic.
hammerhorde ...with laser sighting. We just got those in. You pull the trigger and put the beam where you want the bullet to go, you can't miss. That's a good gun.
WOW! There were a lot of iconic guns missing. And a lot of good mentions from everyone. I think they should come out with a part 2 of this list. That would be cool. 😎
GE M134 was a honerable mention, the cut was from terminator rather then predator. they love showing Arny with a minigun as much as they love showing stallone with a M60. I do feel this list has too many pistols on it though.
Or how about the laser pointed weapon used by the Predator itself? Hmmm. Would that be considered a gun? I mean, the list did add blasters from star wars, right? So yes, the Predator blaster is pretty cool too. 👍😀
Watch the original which is why it's disputed, there are two shots fired but people forget the idea of muscular tension or nerve reaction. You can be shot and fire your gun before dying.
@@FildasKirk shows how much attention to detail some folk show. You didn't hear the second shot, or see it nothing which makes it all worth the cheap laugh your comment makes.
@@hartlyreaper6849 I have the original tape, and I saw the original script (which had more dialogue). Both have only Han shooting. Han says "I bet you have" and then we hear a single blaster discharge and see smoke, because Han shot Greedo under the table. So If there was a second blast from Greedo, we would have seen it and know without any confusion that it was him firing. Also, from filmmakers point of view, there is a buildup of tension with Han covertly preparing his blaster. No such thing from Greedo, he just sits there and yaps. I do not dispute your versions of events. as far as I know, there were alterations made to the movie over the years, so it is entirely possible you have seen a version where Greedo shot as well - either the well known Greedo shot first version or some version where he shoots as a result of a nerve twitch.
There's plenty of guns that could have been in this list but I fully agree with #1. It's as much of a movie icon of guns as the Aston Martin is of cars.
You put the PPK above Dirty Harry's Magnum? Which film series' influence sold more firearms? And you included Nicholson's stupid 88 Magnum from Batman but didn't even mention the Man With No Name's Cobra Handled revolver?
Exactly! Back in the beginning of the 70s most police departments restricted their officers to regular 38 cal. and even specified the amount of powder in the pistol cartridges. The bad guys weren't super villains with powerful weapons or gangs. Instead they were punks who were just smart enough to shout out "I Got My Right's" whenever they were arrested.
@Gerardo Mejia It was said near the start of the video "These are the firearms from the silver screen that stuck in our heads due to their originality or innovation".
@@bsherder Neither the PPK nor the .44 Magnum were original to the movies, nor particularly innovative, either as pieces of firearms technology, and as narrative devices in film goes, the screenplay for the Dirty Harry films make a much bigger deal about his gun than the Bond franchise, which barely mentions it. Couple with the remarks in my original post, by any objective measure, Dirty Harry's .44 Magnum is the most famous gun of all time.
Whoever made this needs to really know what an "iconic" gun is. 10: 45 longslide (terminator) 9:the lawgiver (judge Dredd) 8: D-L44 (star wars) 7: short plasma gun from AVP 2. 6: the samaritan (hellboy) 5:E-m1 rail gun (eraser) 4:cross gun (Constantine) 3: Morita MK I (starship troopers) 2:m41a pulses rifle. 1: "M1-L1 triple-pulse rifles" (deep rising) Now these are iconic guns.
Deckard's gun... I still get giddy when I remember the .223 pistol from Fallout 2 showing up in Fallout New Vegas, but looking like Deckard's gun. My favorite video game gun mixed with my favorite movie gun. Glorious.
This was a good list actually. I would have added the Zorg Industried ZF-1 from Fifth element to the top 5 and an honorable mention to the Blade Runner Blaster, Smith & Wesson M1917 from Indiana Jones, the M1 Garand from Gran Torino and the Mosin Nagant M91/30 from Enemy at the Gates. Just to name a few.
Oh and the twin gold plated 1911s from Face Off. And the H&K USP Match from Tomb Raider, and the Winchester 1887 from Terminator 2, and the SPAS 12 from Jurassic Park, and the Cheyenne Tactical M-200 Intervention from Shooter
hotelkilo006 Yeah the intervention is an integral plot point of shooter, but I think because it doesn't actually get used, apart from shooting a tin can it is sort of void for this list.
Guns that could make this list but didn't: The .45 long slide (Terminator) The Winchester 1887 (Terminator 2) Plasma Rifle (Terminator franchise) The Steyr AUG (Die Hard) The Beretta 92 (Die Hard) The MP5 (Die Hard) The M16 (most Vietnam War movies) The M202 Flash (4 barrel rocket launcher from Commando) The E-11 (Star Wars franchise) Chewbacca's Crossbow (Star Wars franchise) Star Model B (Pulp Fiction) Colt 1851 Navy (The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly)
Xtariz Yeah, and compared to the awesomness of the BFG in the games the movie version su**** just like the movie itself su**** compared to the awesomness of the games it tried to emulate
To my knowledge, all of the "stranger cruises into town with a coffin/guitar case/baby carriage which is actually a superweapon" stuff comes from the original Django, a spaghetti western from 1966 that inspired around 50 unofficial sequels/remakes, and certainly El Mariachi and its remake, Desperado. He's dragging a small coffin in the opening which ends up being a case for some monstrous 20 barrel machinegun.
Scarface's "Little Friend"
The Punisher's Custom M1911s
Terminator's Lever Action shotgun
Dredd's Lawgiver
"Alright you wanna play? Let's play. SAY HELLO TO MY LITTLE FRIEND!"

sherif elsharkawy I thought the line was "You wanna play rough? Okay. SAY HELLO TO MY LITTLE FRIEND!"
Oh ya, sorry I have seen the movie a couple years back and don't remember that much. Sorry 'bout that/

LAPD 2019 blaster from Blade Runner!

YES--ha!

The Noisy Cricket was recalled. It had kick back issues :-)
and the other big alien gun.
I couldn't believe it wasn't in there either!! WTH WatchMojo??!!
Where is the Lawgiver of Judge Dredd, the desert eagle of agent smith, the Proton Pack of Ghostbusters, the MAC-10 of Snake Plissken?
Desert eagles are in so many movies as a default henchman gun same with mac 10. Other two you have a case for
As mentioned, MAC-10 is an overused "Bad guy gun", Proton packs don't really count as guns, and there was nothing spectacular about Agent Smith's Desert Eagle, its just big to match Hugo Weavings really big teeth.
Or the Scarface modified M16 assault rifle?
THE SILENCER well I don’t think the proton pack is a conventional “gun”
You mean the Mac 10 from Pulp Fiction.
What about Chigur’s silenced shotgun from No Country for Old Men?
Not bad.... Not bad
I was thinking the same thing, but I'm not sure it's technically a gun.
Snayl, why wouldn’t it be considered a gun?
It’s a captive bolt pistol, not a shotgun. They’re used to stun cattle before slaughter.
@@TheGlaSGOWSTEVE that's exactly what it is

And although in later films the Walther PPK is used, in _Dr. No_, while referred to as a PPK, it is actually the Walther PP that is seen on-screen -- same frame but a longer barrel.

Missing 2 guns
1. Lawgiver From Judge Dredd for both Old/New
2. Rifle from Starship Troopers!
Starship troopers rifle and it's pump action shotgun attachment definitely deserved a mention.
mario badia Not even close. It's way longer and has a shotgun attachment, not a grenade launcher.
mario badia You might want to look again. They don't even look similar to me.
When I saw the Morita MK II wasn't on this list, I was pissed.
I miss the Star Trek Phaser.
Great list, my movie weapon of choice would be any gun from Men in Black
The Noisy cricket for sure!
Reiji Arisu IDK, the guns they keep in the trunk of the car are pretty good too.
Steve W
But they aren't named ;)
Plus I'm sure the noisy cricket could have done more damage but not looks as cool.
Guess the futuristic Kolibri Made up in this list
“Series 4 Deatomizer”
“Man that what I’m talking about.”
“Noisy cricket”

#4: DL-44 Heavy Blaster Pistol
And then they show a series of clips with Han using the BlasTech E-11 blaster rifle, lol.

+Philp Roza you know I was wondering if the pyrotechnics were animated ( I hope not) but thanks for the information "old painless" by the way that's a perfect name for that gun because I I'm pretty sure you feel nothing after the first round hit you.
+Yellowsnow I came to write the same thing. Definitely the most iconic gun amongst actual prop makers and buffs.
+Yellowsnow IKR. Not even an honorable mention? Who the hell cares about the Joker's gun?
Who doesn't love guns?
liberals
Obvious liberal statement ^^^thinking every automatic rifle is an assault rifle
Assault rifles have both semi automatic and fully automatic firing modes. An AR-15 is not an assault rifle, it was modeled after an assault rifle for the consumer market. True assault rifles are very hard to acquire, despite what liberals would lead you to believe.
BOW TO MY WEAPONRY!
Tyler Hermanson
Correction:
If a gun has wood parts, its an AK.
If it has plastic parts and a pistol grip, its an AR15/M16
That "boom stick" remind me about that epic film. Gonna watch it tonight.
Yo SheBitch Let's go! xD
MrColllie
Lol thats a good one.
My favourite is the bad Ash scene :L
You're a goody two shoes lol
what movie?
Evil Dead, Army of Darkness.
Wow, missing the ZF1 from "The Fifth Element"
Definitely should have made the list!!!
Now a real killer when he picked up the ZF1 would have immediately asked about the little red button on the bottom of the gun.
#1: "Lawgiver" - Judge Dredd (1995), Dredd (2012) ???
I KNOW, RIGHT?!!! Completely blew off The Lawgiver?!!!
***** The Character is from the comics, the gun isn't. The rule of movie guns only, refers to the gun not the character.
SirEatsBaconALot That is because despite what they say they are going to put what they want on their lists.
"SAY HELLO TO MY LITTLE FRIEND!! M16 with M203 grenade launcher on 1983 Scarface!"
Do a segment on the DL-44 Heavy Blaster Pistol, show mostly footage of E-11 Blaster Rifle. Good call, guys.
Several missed, most of which have already been mentioned. I would include in the top ten:
Star Trek Phaser
Blade Runner Revolver
Doom BFG
Han’s modified Mauser Broomhandle Blaster
Han Solo's blaster is the DL-44 mentioned in the video. Unfortunatly they mostly showed the E-11 Blaster Rifle.
I recall seeing a modified MG34 being used by Storm Troopers as well.
Y u no su much?
I like movies and I like guns. probably more than the average person.
Daniel Seames yup. I said there were lots more.
I guess the people of WatchMojo have never seen Scarface
Or Die Hard lol Jonn McClane's go to gun was the MP5. he was always mowing down baddies with that. disappointed that it didn't even get a honorable mention
They obviously never seen saving private Ryan or We were soldiers.
Tony's little friend, huh? A M4? Hahaha.
***** I think that he used an M16, I don't believe the M4 was invented yet. The M4 didn't come out until 1994. I haven't seen that movie in forever but it could have been a CAR-15 or XM-177 which are the earlier Vietnam versions of the M4
rosales416
now i have a machine gun,ho ho ho
The DL-44 is not shown in your video. You’re showing the E-11 blaster.
It is shown. Though only for like 2 seconds
Why didn't they show any of ROTJ? Han uses the gun throughout the entire fight on Endor.
THANK YOU.
I was like "Why aren't they showing the weapon they are talking about?"
They also don’t even know the right name a DL-44 does not exist what they meant was a Mauser C96 but they have multiple shots of sterling Submachine guns with 10 round mags
What about the weapon used by The Predator? Shoulder mounted turret, target tracking, laser sighted.... badass.
U are right man :D
Dylan you son of a bitch
Jacktorious-rex rex Wtf
Omg dude are you serious? Not a big predator fan then! it's a quote from predator you fricking turnip
Jacktorious-rex rex *BEST BADASS WEAPON -> NANOSUIT XD*
No B.F.G. from "Doom" ? Inconceivable !! And what about the reverberating carbonizer ( with mutate capacity ) that Jeeves sold to an unlicensed cephalopod in "Men in Black" ?!
Originally a video game weapon.
Princess Scarlet The Samaritan is from a comic, and the DL-44 and EMP-1 are pure science fiction, so it doesn't matter that it was in a video game first.
The noisy cricket is also missing.
It is more iconic for the games, the movie is better off forgotten, (sadly) including the BFG
Its an video games weapon
You put the DL-44 blaster pistol in the list but most of the clips showed Han with an E-11 blaster rifle.
I know right! And it was modeled after a Mauser!
Marcos Vazquez Did you know?, In Far cry 4 theres a signature weapon that consists in a supressed Mauser gun with an Acog optics and extended mags called "HS77" making reference to Han Solo laser gun and the year of the release of the first Star wars movie.
Daniel Gaxiola Lugo That sounds cool man, I've gotta check out FC4 asap now!
Also, Robocop's Auto 9 pistol was in Farcry 4 as the A.J.M. 9
Marcos Vazquez well yes it was and the main rifle that a rebel used is a STG-44
I was waiting for the revolver like gun Harrison Ford’s character used in Blade Runner. :(
My #1 "SAY HELLO TO MY LITTLE FRIEND"
And for #2 the weird gun from the Fifth Element.
Zorg ZF-1?
do not use the translate
Trisha Crawford Sorry, I used translate...was too curious lol, but yeah the ZF1 woulda been nice
No phased plasma rifle, in the 40 watt range?
Hey only what you see pal.
Luke H Good one! lol
Listening Point. You deserve some kind of reward for that one.
One of the best replies I ever read.
Spot on dude 😄
The Uzi 9 millimeter
So we all love The Terminator.
I even loved salvation, I worry about genisys tho.
It's got matt smith in for gods sake.
Why spoil a great franchise by making a kids movie.....oh yeah... money !
Best movie gun is the Zorg ZF-1 from fifth element
sadly they couldn't even give that one a honorable mention
OneBigPappa What about the Men in Black tiny pistol ???
or any of the weapons in MIB for that matter
Tobi Suffern it's called the cricket
Aye!! I remember it well:
1 Ultra high speed compact assault rifle firing fin stabilized, computer controlled, tracer rounds.
1 Range finding targeting computer with "replay mode."
1 10 Shot poison dart launcher.
1 All purpose rocket launcher.
1 flamethrower.
1 net launcher
Cryofreezing ice sprayer.
And the little hidden feature at the end.
There's a movie called " I come in peace " staring Dolph Lundgren and in it they get ahold of an Alien weapon that is extremely powerful ,that would definitely be my weapon of choice 🔫
The deadly CDs. Good movie.
That alien weapon is the Calico M950-A. It's also used by William Forsythe in "Stone Cold"
what about the model1887 from terminator 2
YES FINALLY SOMEONE SAID IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
JESUS CHRIST THAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN #1. I own both a real modern version of that gun and a nice airsoft replica because if that movie.
The Thompson aka tommy gun and Chicago typewriter too as it was featured in a lot of classic gangster films like the godfather, millers crossing, and dick tracy
What about akimbo 1887 from MW2?
the terminator series would take up the whole list of top guns in movies
What about Deckards pistol in Blade Runner??? that's pretty awesome. That should have been number one. It fires explosive rounds.
the Lawgiver from Dredd
seriously that gun was amazing.
tokyozombe Not even an Honorable Mention Why Mojo?
Thank you
Thank you
WKFBJDB JXHFJF HD D DND BD D DND R DNWWWW
The sawed off Winchester 1887 that the T800 uses in Terminator 2. Either that or the scoped/lazer 1911 from Terminator 1
I was really expecting the Lawgiver to be somewhere in this video.
+Jace Carpenter
Fuck yeah!
+Jace Carpenter Far more original and iconic than some of the stock standard guns that made the list. You fail again, Watchmojo.
What about the SPAS 12 from Jurassic Park?
Jacob Hunt imo not very iconic. it's "a SPAS-12", not "THE SPAS-12", you know?
Jacob Hunt Yea that was the coolest gun of my childhood.
Jacob Hunt clever girl
Qloke well dirty harry's 44 magnum was just another s&w. so that argument doesnt exactly hold water.
A phased plasma rifle in a 40-Watt range?
katey1dog "Hey just what you see pal." ;)
Chas Gregg The Uzi 9mm.
katey1dog Famous movie guns, personally I would of added Judge Dredd's gun up there.
hammerhorde ...with laser sighting.
We just got those in. You pull the trigger and put the beam where you want the bullet to go, you can't miss. That's a good gun.
Ýou sure know your weapons buddy.
Where's The Man With No Name a.k.a. Blondie's Cartridge Converted Colt Navy 1851?
Come on! Where was "The Noisy Cricket"!
I think you're the only one in the comments section to get the name of that gun right.
\
Loved it when J gave K that gun and told him it was his favorite!
Where was Dredds gun from the newest one (the better one)
I agree
Ya it's so awesome
yes!
what was that? Hot Shot?
Completely agree, should have been on the list.
WOW! There were a lot of iconic guns missing. And a lot of good mentions from everyone. I think they should come out with a part 2 of this list. That would be cool. 😎
No Holy Shotgun from Constantine? Plus a Dragon's Breath flamethrower!
Nice list. I was expecting the gatling mini gun in Predator also to be on this list.
GE M134 was a honerable mention, the cut was from terminator rather then predator. they love showing Arny with a minigun as much as they love showing stallone with a M60. I do feel this list has too many pistols on it though.
Jesse Ventura wore it best!!!
It was actually Bill Duke who emptied it in that famous scene
Or how about the laser pointed weapon used by the Predator itself? Hmmm. Would that be considered a gun? I mean, the list did add blasters from star wars, right? So yes, the Predator blaster is pretty cool too. 👍😀
You forgot the most iconic movie gun of all time. Tom Selleck's rifle from Quigly Down Under
the most iconic gun to me is the Red Ryder BB gun from A Chrismas Story
What do you mean disputable
HAN SHOT FIRST
not just that, Han was the only one who shoot
Watch the original which is why it's disputed, there are two shots fired but people forget the idea of muscular tension or nerve reaction. You can be shot and fire your gun before dying.
Han Didn't shoot first. Han shot. Simple as that, because there is no first when there isn't any second.
Would have thought you would have chosen the E-11 instead of the DL-44 since it was more frequently seen on screen
Don't expect anything from noobs......^^
There's plenty of guns that could have been in this list but I fully agree with #1. It's as much of a movie icon of guns as the Aston Martin is of cars.
the pulse rifle : my dream gun
same man
You put the PPK above Dirty Harry's Magnum?
@@ricosuave6898 It is true that neither were original to the movies. I would also agree that the .44 magnum is more famous than the ppk.
@@bsherder Apologies, apparently your comment was not directed at me.
Whoever made this needs to really know what an "iconic" gun is.
10: 45 longslide (terminator)
9:the lawgiver (judge Dredd)
8: D-L44 (star wars)
7: short plasma gun from AVP 2.
6: the samaritan (hellboy)
5:E-m1 rail gun (eraser)
4:cross gun (Constantine)
3: Morita MK I (starship troopers)
2:m41a pulses rifle.
1: "M1-L1 triple-pulse rifles" (deep rising)
Now these are iconic guns.
what about the small but awesome noisey cricket from MIB? or the BFG from doom?
Movie no bfg
The Cricket, yes, the BFG no, that isn't from a movie.
Yeah that one must be number one
well considering the doom movie wasnt liked a lot by critics and fans alike, it would probably make sense not to have it on here
HeyIt'sGeorge_ BFG was in The "Doom" movie, the abomination the starred Karl Urban and Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson.
I expected the Lawgiver to at least be an honourable mention.
I'd remove the Joker's gun and add in Deckard's pistol from Blade Runner.
Deckard's gun... I still get giddy when I remember the .223 pistol from Fallout 2 showing up in Fallout New Vegas, but looking like Deckard's gun. My favorite video game gun mixed with my favorite movie gun. Glorious.
They even made sure that K got his hands on it (from Deckard) in 2049 and showed him holding it in the trailer.
Oh yes, that's the gun I immediately thought of when I saw the title, good call sir.
hell yeah
1. Deathwish 3: Wildey 475 Magnum.
2. Alienation: 454 Casull
3. Sudden Impact: .44 Automag
Now do Videogame guns, i can already name 3
1. The magnum from Halo: CE
2.The Chainsaw Lancer from Gears of War
3.The Hand pistol from AC 2
I'm pretty sure they did that list before
They did. Lancer was on the list and I think Half-Life's gravity gun made No.1 though I would've liked it if they had the Cerebral Bore on the list.
Lukeiru oh now i remember the list, im dumb
The UMP45 From Modern Warfare 2
What about the Bullseye from Resistance FOM.
First shot marks em.
Every follow up shot hits em.
*sigh*
So many guns, so little spots in the countdown.
I bet they'll do an "Another Top 10..." eventually.
What about the "Lawgiver" From Judge Dredd
hotelkilo006 Yeah the intervention is an integral plot point of shooter, but I think because it doesn't actually get used, apart from shooting a tin can it is sort of void for this list.
hotelkilo006 the SPAS 12 doesn't play a huge role in JP.
Where is Deckard's LAPD 2019 Blaster? That's easily in the top 5, in my opinion.
Definitely. Damn shame I forgot about it. 😥. Thanks for the reminder. 👍😀
castor troy's golden guns. one of those few guns from movies that actually do look cool.
Agreed
THe Desert Eagles the Agents from the Matrix carried
Dredd isn't even an honorable mention? Come on now
YEAH!!! I KNOW RIGHT!! SERIOUSLY I was hoping for Atleast number 3 for judge dredd's Lawgiver
If TV was included, Supernatural's colt would be somewhere on the list.
Definitely. That, and John Crighton's pulse pistol "Winona" from Farscape.
what about Rick Grime's revolver? It's as iconic as the Governor eyepatch
Guns that could make this list but didn't:
The .45 long slide (Terminator)
The Winchester 1887 (Terminator 2)
Plasma Rifle (Terminator franchise)
The Steyr AUG (Die Hard)
The Beretta 92 (Die Hard)
The MP5 (Die Hard)
The M16 (most Vietnam War movies)
The M202 Flash (4 barrel rocket launcher from Commando)
The E-11 (Star Wars franchise)
Chewbacca's Crossbow (Star Wars franchise)
Star Model B (Pulp Fiction)
Colt 1851 Navy (The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly)
The cricket from Men in Black?!?!
M.I.B,The tiny gun from first movie
it called a Silent Cricket
Terry D Noisy cricket actually.
ok i was close :p
wheres the m16 from scarface
This!!!
Totally agree 100 percent.
cant believe it wasn't even mentioned let alone not on the list...i was waiting for it to be number 1
Little friend from Scarface and The Man with no names colt in the “dollars” trilogy
How could this list not include the iconic Red Ryder, carbine action, two-hundred shot range model air rifle?!?
"you'll shoot yer eye out'.
The BFG (BigFuckingGun) Doom3
This video is about MOVIES.
Not games.
Mr. Awesome There is a BFG in the Doom movie
Xtariz, Oh.
Xtariz Yeah, and compared to the awesomness of the BFG in the games the movie version su**** just like the movie itself su**** compared to the awesomness of the games it tried to emulate
Xtariz Doom movie never happened. Let's just move on :P
another honorable mention would have been the gun from judge dread, the new version. one gun,..multiple types of ammo.
it was mentioned in the old one as well
To my knowledge, all of the "stranger cruises into town with a coffin/guitar case/baby carriage which is actually a superweapon" stuff comes from the original Django, a spaghetti western from 1966 that inspired around 50 unofficial sequels/remakes, and certainly El Mariachi and its remake, Desperado. He's dragging a small coffin in the opening which ends up being a case for some monstrous 20 barrel machinegun.
judge dredd's pistol
Lawgiver
Seriously. I was so sure this was gonna be in here.
Agreed. That SHOULD be on there.
Agree.. should have been in this list
Bloody Axe totally agree. The only reason I would give this leg-gun a place is in "ridiculous movie weapons".
Judge Dredd was so missing on this list but Bond deff earned number one
THe mini ultra giga blaster from Men in Black? Someone?
Noisy Cricket
The series 4 De-Atomizer.
Elysium - Chemrail Rifle
Men in black -Noisy Cricket
Shooter - 50 Caliber Rifle
