Bruna will always be one of my favorite commanders. I know it gets hated out a lot but there is no better feeling that hitting someone for 42 infect (true story). The first game I played her will be one I will never forget. Killed everyone with one shot each and managed to get like 400 life due to celestial mantle.
As a Bruna player I avoid infinite hand spells an effect to discard the auras and one they are there I can use either Bruna to get them back or open the vaults, replenish,re tether to that say even if I don't have Bruna I can still get a Bruna like effect with those cards. I know it may seem like an odd choice But I have killed just as many if not more players with a massive re-tether, open the vaults, replenish as Bruna herself.
I had a feeling about Cyclonic Rift puns being around after watchign previous video, and I'am not disappointed! What about the Usurper or any other Commander game with each player having special secret win conditions? Like, the first to die, the last to stand, having drawn 50 or more cards during the game or anthing else?
Hmm. I think I get what you are saying. We might try something similar. Usurper is one of our favorites and we'll definitely being doing that again. As far as other kinds of games like that, we'll probably try The Thing again at some point.
The problem with donate "bad stuff" versions of zedruu is that those card return once your opponent loses the game, that's why my version is enchantress, with some symmetrical effects.
I do something similar. Running mostly permanent and enchantment answers like grasp of fates and aura of silence, alongside Keranos, thassa, and Heliod as resilient value engines. I have my parallel value engines such as oath of liege a, howling mine and dictate of kruphix, then a control package including board wipes, a few permission spells, card draw, etc. I of course have my paradox haze and puca's mischief. I play harder into control as the game goes on with some late game outlets such as wild research + blue sun + white sun + mistveil plains as an inevitability engine. Essentially I hold up either spell and either draw a full grip of cards, tutor for an instant speed answer, or drop an army with white sun. I can keep doing this, holding up permission and grinding out the game in 3 or 4 turns.
No, thats not what it happens. If you read the rules the "exchange control ceases" and you return everything you owned that was in control of the opponents. It's like the 101 mistake of any zedruu player.
We've done something like this and we might try again soon. Rob's Narset Transcendent deck was nuts. We here at GBC believe any Planeswalker is basically already a legend in spirit.
I do wish you wouldn't reveal so many things about the game before its seen through, and especially that you wouldn't skip to the ending just because it's taking some time.
so much reliance on recurring cyclonic rift time after time, after time. that would have been an interesting game If Rob didn't just lock everyone out. sigh.
Is it just me, or am I the only one who HATES it when I'm about to kill someone and another of my opponents saves them for no rhyme or reason? Rob cyclonic rifting bruna when she was gonna kill the other opponent is the actual most annoying thing in magic. Why do people do this?
"Bruna always gets hated out"
Draws 14 cards, plays supreme verdict, plays consecrated sphinx, cheats out eldrazi conscription
Great video! I love the partner commanders and hope that they add more for more options.
Nice! Looking forward to your Brago blink control! :)
There are several gameplays on the channel featuring it. It is quite strong, check them out.
Man you guys are great. Thank you! :D
No, thank you!

I'm sad you didn't run a Bruna Stax list. I would love to see more of that.
Love it! Keep em coming 👍
Game play was dope

That Rick and Morty playmat!
any chance of uploading the zegana decklist???
Hey I know your backed up but I would love to see planechase commander
We'd like to do another one soon. Thanks for the suggestion.
Where do you get your alters for the introduction?

The Decklists, don't seem to have the Bruna or Zedruu decks.
Unless i'm missing something :(
Just posted the Bruna list today. I still need to get in touch with the other decks' respective builders. Thanks for your patience.
Can you link the zedruu deck list please :D
At 7 minutes in you were saying you don't have a way to give bruna haste. Doesn't Hall of the bandit lord do that?
wow good work
I actually like silence as a card there
Thought vessel should have been rifted no? Or did you have Reliquary Tower out?
It seems to have been forgotten at first but then was reminded by Rob shortly thereafter. Reliquary Tower was out too, yes.
Interested in that bruna deck, any place i can get the list?
Thanks for your interest and sorry for the delay. List is up now.
so great! how long does it take to edit dang??
Most of the week. It's why you normally don't see more than 1 video a week.
how do i get that rick and morty playmat?!?!?

I'd be very interested to see a decklist. I'm always looking for new ways to play Zedruu.
Matias Rochaix they don't return to your control, they become exiled when their controller loses
See rule 800.4a

Have you guys considered trying walkers as generals? None of them are super broken and the best one is already legal (teferi).

Im here for Zegana my queen
y didnt u return ur mana rocks to ur hand after that cyclonic rift
weldrodson unless he was the one that cast it it was a misplay
I barely play my Bruna deck either. It's just too easy to win. I barely lose with her.
I do wish you wouldn't reveal so many things about the game before its seen through, and especially that you wouldn't skip to the ending just because it's taking some time.

LOL "CAST" a land
Light of Ala?
Really
Jeez what a pile of salt
Way too much clutter on the screen! Still I like seeing new commander channels!

Bruna, light of Allah
