I'm looking forward to this. My TJ closely resembles your build. I haven't out-boarded yet (my caliper flip brackets are at least 4 years old). Your work may be the inspiration for me to get it done!

Actually in the process of doing the same on my 05 rubi along with a tub swap. Always referred to your videos for more knowledge on things. Have not got stuff to outboard yet wanted to get tub sitting on it first at least. Have got mid arm in and savvy armor for the belly up. Look forward to seeing the process

Don't know how I missed this video Mike. Can't wait until your next video on this series . I have made some suspension changes on my 03 Tj a few years back and I'm planning on some more changes coming up soon. Take care and catch you on your next video sir.

You will love every change you have planned! And, since you are going that far, I highly recommend a SwayLoc in the front!

It's a trail rig only, so no need for a swayloc.

Going to closely follow this! I'd love to do this to my TJ, but its not in the budget for now.

@@3jeepfan I completely understand the budget aspect! That's why I have collected a lot of parts over the years before finally pulling the trigger on the build. As noted earlier, there is a sequence you should follow when doing this. The shock outboard should be the last thing to happen.

If you're going to put all the work into stripping and rebuilding a rear axle, why not a start with a dana 60?

@@feralkid9315 because that is a completely different build for what my build plan is. I plan on sticking to 35" tires as it gives me the most enjoyment for me when off roading. A D60 would be absolutely appropriate for 40" tires.
