As someone who loves 1980s CR's i really like the new retro shroud look, the only people who don't like the new look are the people that just bought a 2024 model and want to make themselves feel better for not having the latest and greatest.
When I saw the mxgp bike I wasn't on board. When I saw the final product, I fell in love LoL. Also imagine the retro themes that can be done with graphics.
This is like picking the 1988 RM over the 1989....this bike is Fugly, and I love almost every Honda except the 1981 CR's If they want to go retro, How about Silver plastic with Green or Red accents
guys... as ugly as this shroud is... its awesome because it wont hurt your knees like most new bike shrouds have for years. you can grip the tank now like an old 2 stroke.
Nice bike! Also the intro music is from the Supercross game. Lol👍😎 The new changes really needed to be addressed and they seem to have made a good decision and are having good feedback here👍
Do you know what is the stock offset? Is it still 22mm like in CRF250R 2024? I am just wondering if the 2025 model need also a triple clamp with 23,5mm or 24mm to fix front "knifing". I remember a lot of all reviews for 22-24 models says about that issue and as a solution you used 23,5mm Ride Engineering triple clamps. I have 24 model and once I bought Xtrig 24mm it is a different bike, it's stable and front is planted.
For years, all the media outlets have said the Honda is too stiff and have created a massive false demand in the market place for fixes for these bikes.
Honestly I had a 450 but if I got a bike again I wouldn’t mind a 250 I never got anywhere close as weekend rider to need a 450 just nice to be able to lug it depends on how you ride and if you get suspension set for your weight and riding anything will be fine
@@Notsofriendlyghost211 Yes, older riders liked to lug around. I always limed how much lighter the 250’s were, but recently I looked at the Kawasakis and they were the same size!
Guys please keep the music away . 250 are all about power ... For exemple the new Triumph just by the sound you can tell the bike like to be reved to the moon compared to a yz or crf
@@busby905 Well, l already know from previous experience that when a manufacturer does not mention (or brag) their bike weighs less than -or at least the same like- the previous year’s it is because the bike’s most likely guaranteed to be heavier. So, sure enough (as l expected) upon checking the specs on HONDA’s website, l noticed the weight increase. Oh, well. Hopefully, they distributed it accordingly…
@@yukonjon5964 Yeah, l hear ya. Hopefully, it won’t be noticeable while riding it. We’ll see. I’m thinking about getting the WE model, but l really never like to buy a first model year of anything…
@@sdb92 well i almost got the 2022 version despite feeling the same and it turned out unchanged the following years so it was fine actually, and it had a ton of major updates. it seems like with the way OEM's do three year runs, its seldom things do change much each year. it's hard to say, but based on Honda's quality control etc, i think we are pretty safe going with a first year model in this case. i know i want one.

@@tonyspencer4379 yes late 1980s and early 1990's honda hrc graphics kits would look sick 👌
I'm a 90's Honda guy, but I'ma pass on these shrouds and graphics

Great to see Talon back!

Wish there were some test riders on the east coast to test on super rutted deep tracks everything out west is dry and slick
Great review!
What are the ergos like for a taller rider compared to the Yamaha? Deciding between the 2. Thanks!
Swap, Pat and Tallon did a really good job of running down the new 250 Honda. Maybe a 250 Honda would be a good option ❤

Its material rebound, metal memory that we're feeling.
Honda is definitely the best! And looking
Theyre quite possibly the best company in the world at every sector their into.
Damn Honda 250 sounds good 😮
Hearing y’all…I want one.
Pat, do you think it’s better than the yz250f with these changes ?
@Swapmoto Live, this
When I drive on the track, I never pay attention to which gear I use.
Is 6'4" 225 too big for a 250? Thanks
No, these engines can really pull. Not many people can ride them flat out on the track.

@@swapmotolive. I did actually but comment on the first 30 😂. Im tired of music in 250 review my Bad 😂
Sorry bike of the year is Triumph, they killed the game...
More powerfull, lighter, best suspensions and more options
Whatever, just thankful it runs on gas
It’s jettfortless
👊🏁
Talon was a SLR honda rider, so could this test be one sided.
Let’s hope they stop breaking down,,,, as plastered all over UA-cam
I’ve had 3 in the last 4 years never had an issue
comment is a give-a-way that it's a KTM owner.
Honda never gets bike of the year
Aaannd the Ktm is now the best looking bike
Known To Malfunction…🤮
4 stroke yuck!
Nice! But, why is no one mentioning the fact that this bike is 5 pounds (450 is 4 Lbs) heavier. More weight never helps, especially, on the 250…
Where u getting your numbers?
