I am simply amazed by your skills. From my experience of keeping Afghans, they are the most difficult breed to train obedience. Respect 🙏

Dropped tail and head. An Afghan is a sight hound and takes joy in seeing the world. That dog shows no joy. This isn't a breed I'd use e-collars on. Not to mention, it only takes one squirrel to flip that prey drive.

I have two Afghans and I love them to death! But as well as this one is trained, if a cat or rabbit runs by, your Afghan will NOT stay seated! Enjoyed this video nonetheless 😊

I now have a 3.5mo old Afghan puppy, Loki. I’d love to learn how to do this. Pls let me know how you schooled Art!

The hound is not happy at all. His tail is between his legs the whole time instead of up in a curl. I don’t see the beautiful afghan hound gait.

If you expect this from a dog, get a German Shepherd or a Labrador... not an afghan hound. I'm sure he isn't happy at all.

Isn't that what an E-collar is? I had Afghans too, but when I got down to 1, she got bored and got out. I had the opportunity to adopt another dog (older sheltie) and she stopped getting out. I would NEVER HAVE AN AFGHAN OFF LEASH DOWNTOWN.

I have had 4 Afghan Hounds. I trained them daily and continued when in the house to maintain what they had learned. They were well behaved. It probably took less time with other breeds but AH's are not untrainable. They need gentle persuasion and don't respond well to roughness.
