Can't you make a permanent attic observatory? Basically you can do a roll-off or roll down the roof, that would very much clear up the sky in most directions...

Thank you for the equipment tour! It has given me several ideas to use when I could build my own (hopefully soon). Have you considered building a permanent shed or some kind of rigid cover? By the way, it would be nice doing a live session that includes the assembly 🙃

Yes I have considered an observatory. I also considered an "observatory in a box"; where the it would be a completely automated system. Maybe in the future.
