What a great channel, I remember a lot of these companies from when I was a young boy working as an apprentice mechanic on Leyland Clydesdales, Rievers and Volvo FL7, moved on to fix plant but always have great memories of the drivers and the craick. Keep up the great videos.
Hiya...Love your channel!!... Remembering companies that I used to see when I was a lad out with my Dad in his truck some 45 years ago.. Quick question...My Dad used to drive for James C Ashworth in Bradford...I don't suppose you have any pictures of the Ashworth fleet do you??...My Dad had one of the first Volvo F10s that came into the UK at the time...Prior to that he drove Volvo F88 and his first truck was a Guy Big J... Anyway I thought it was worth an ask... Thanks for the memories!!
Thank 😊 🙏 you, Nick, for nice comment, there are a few photos of ashworth transport in a couple of videos but can not remember which ones, I will have a look for you nick and try post some photos for you soon regards Christopher 😉
You have exceeded our expectations yet again Christopher well done and your doing us all a service and near 6 thousand views is testament to that .I bet the old Foden Low loader was a nightmare to drive fully loaded I can’t imagine the noise in that cab …..😮
@ your welcome dude yours is definitely the best old trucking channel out there please keep up the good work and I haven’t forgotten to dig those Ruttle yard shots out for you.
@ronniebiggs4026 I will keep the videos coming. I do enjoy doing the video, and great comments make it worthwhile. I'm looking forward to rattle plant photos, my friend, take care Christopher
There are some lovely old trucks in that video. There is nothing that can come anywhere near a roped and sheeted load, and there were a few good examples there.
One of the best channels on UA-cam. Just wondering, are all these your photos? Or do people send them in? I take plenty of photos now, but in the old days when trucks were better, I hardly ever carried a camera.
Thank you. I've got a lot of my own photos and a lot of subscribers send them in, the aim of the channel is pay respect to hard working drivers and many long and gone family haulage company's and fabulous companies we lost or are still operating today. Because it deserved to be remembered

Thank you, my friend, for the very kind words that mean a lot to me, and yes, that foden would have been hard and very noisy, I bet.
