Hi may i know the exact company or name of this device , because in amazon there is lot of different companies named under frameo, bit confuse with the product you are showing .

They just provide the software and then manufacturers can build their on HW frames with this software and app. But I might be wrong ... just guessing

Nope .... it's quite limited, but I can't recall the exact number. That's the main reason, why I switched to a Uhale photo frame (affiliate link): amzn.to/3QXO1n2. The software allows for much more uploads in one batch and also has other advantages. It's way advanced compared to the Frameo
Yes, the app limits you to a max of 10 pictures per upload, unless you upgrade to the Frameo+ membership. With Frameo+ you can see all the photos in all your frames (not possible for free membership), cloud backup pictures and videos for up to 5 frames, send up to 100 photos per upload, send 2min long videos instead of only 15 secs in the free membership.
If you have many pictures to show and access to the frame, I’d suggest you to use a micro SD card or a USB thumbdrive instead. It’s faster and more convenient than picking so many pictures using the app.

I set mine up today. I realise I can turn the frame off from the settings on the screen but it is possible to turn it on without to use the button on the back ?
I guess not , but can't remember - using a Uhale pic frame now
You can use the Sleep Mode (in Settings > Display) to set the days of the week and hours of the day to turn the screen on/off. This will extend the life of the screen. I set mine to turn off the screen at 23:00 and turn it back on at 10:00.

what format for videos? I cannot get vids to play on my frameo. I do not see any speaker on mine either.
I've never added videos directly the a TF card ... I only used the Frameo app. There I think Frameo will convert the video to whatever format is required
how do you play images and videos from an SD card? I dont want to copy from SD card to internal storage, just play slideshow from the SD card.
Sorry ... can't remember ... not using Frameo any more. Switched to Uhale foto frame. They are a bit advanced compared to Frameo
Settings > Manage Photos > Play from external storage (option is greyed out unless you have a micro SD card or USB thumb drive inserted.)
Where do you find the QR code or sn code? My grandparents cannot find it for us to send pictures to
Just tap on the screen and there you can get the code
Tap on the screen, a pop up window will appear. On the top left corner is an add friend icon (plus sign and a human head). You’ll get a 10-digit number and a QR code (which translates to the 10 digit code).
After setting up etc. how to restart for photos to play?
Hmmmm .. it should automatically play after (re-)boot. Just give it some time ....
What if the photo corrupted in the digital photo frame? Is there a way to repair or recover photos?

The seller contacted me now and said that due to serious shaking while on delivery the motherboard audio cable got broken. And decided to send me a new one.

I have two and both are working reliable. What's the problem? Did you contact the seller?
Can we set a remote admin for the frame? Say we gift this to our grandma who lives in a different state and after some time we'd like to clean up some of the photos that were sent to the frame from different people throughout the years. Can we do that remotely if we initially set it up?
Can we also troubleshoot it remotely if need be?
Since the code expires, will we have access to the code creation (aka add a friend) option remotely without having our grandma manually find it out for us?
Smart ideas - thanks 👍👍. They should hire you for this dev team of this company. Yeah as far as I know there's no such function currently and I didn't see much change in the past so I don't expect too much in the future. BTW I'm not using the Frameo any more and switched to the "Pulloon Digital Picture Frame 15.6" which is not only larger but also easier to use with more functions, but I guess also no remote admin :-(((
At this point in time, there’s no remote admin function. You can view all the pictures in the frame with their Frameo+ paid membership, but that doesn’t allow you to manage it. It’s easy enough for your grandma to manage the pictures. If there’s any picture on display that she doesn’t want, simply tap on the picture (a pop up options window will appear), then tap hide and the picture won’t be shown again. There’s also a picture gallery option in the settings to hide/delete pictures.
In the frame settings, under Friend settings, you can give permission to specific users to generate codes to share the frame.
