great build I built a gs 1100 same year with a stock motor with my on draw throw kit with 40mm mikuni and fb25 turbo 10psi rode it twice and came home Cherried out almost naked wheeled and burn't rubber in third gear felt like a 110mph stop riding it as my son said please don't come home like that again. I also have a 8sec big tire moly gs 1325 thanks for posting
Beautiful bike awesome engineering. I have a 150 HP modified 83 GS 1100 and it still scares me every ride. Stock was 96 HP got Niagara Race Crafters to rebuild motor from crank on up.
Beautiful Build! I’ve built quite a few Cafe and Brat vintage bikes after a little over a decade of Superbike Road Racing fun! I’m dying to get one of these vintage 1100E’s “exactly” like this for street use. I’m anal on keeping my bikes perfect and spotless too 👍. Two years ago I bought a Suzuki B-King to play a little straight line fun and enjoying it now that I’m nearing retirement age. Great job and hopefully a bike identical to this crosses my path some day 😎👍 Cincy Aprilia Joe
What boost pressure are you running? Also, what did you do about the lost spark ignition? I remember when I turbo'd a GS1000 we had problems at about 7.5PSI. Backfiring through the carb. I think we needed to add a distributor.
Really cool bike. I used to have an 81' GS850 as my first bike, I wish I would have known then what I know now so I could have properly fixed and taken care of it.
I really like it. Is that a kit made for a GS1100 or was that just a bike turbo kit and added on. Not that it really matters, it just seemed like all his pipes fit out of the box, and I wouldn't have expected that.
That's awesome, I'm loving that Mr Turbo decal on the air filter (of all your fine work I pick that one detail out, sorry), wish I could find one. I have an '82 that was raced at Bonneville and El Mirage for years. Went 184 MPH in '96, was raced from new in '82. Don Vesco's shop did the motor, still have receipts. It's all there so I'm just cleaning it up. I'm down in South OC. ua-cam.com/video/qHS0I2rBaX4/v-deo.html
Old comment I know, but stock GS1100 were 0-60 in 4.3 seconds and quarter mile in 11.4 for a 740lbs machine with rider. Not slow stock, definitely not slow with any sort of boost.
Like the crazy ol man....he s really a true passionate ! Hats off Sir...oldschool forever in our vains !
This is the bike we all dreamed of. Sick
The bike is Just Sick i looked at this 2 years ago and still think it's sick !

Beautiful machine! Sounds mean.... In a good way!
Whats the popping or ping noise when you start it? Mine seems to do that most times I start it.
I really like it.

Good video, badass bike. However them weld on the frame, come on
Sure it's a nice bike but it was going so fast I couldn't see it. I guess it was good looking?

Damn, 8 step process to start the damn thing haha. Cool bike tho minus the sea foam green paint job
No gloves... Always makes me cringe. Cool bike though!
