Exactly. Not everyone who is "Christian" is (follower of Christ/disciple) but every disciple of Christ is a Christian. Thanks pastor G for once again pointing out the major differences.

Over the course of listening in to your sermons, I have changed my mind on alter calls. Especially when that call outlines a true call to repentance and belief. Not so much the ones that are very vague hoping to see more and more hands go up. It’s the latter that made me feel alter calls were bad altogether. Thankful for you Gary.
Regarding confusing language, there is a funny video of Ricky Ricardo trying to read a passage containing words like through, thought, thorough, and though. English is hard for non-native speakers.
Christ is lord he died on the cross for your sins. The punishment for sin is the lake of fire. But Christ took the punishment for your sins so you wouldn’t have to go the lake of fire. Christ is the only way to get to heaven put your faith and trust in him to be saved. ♥️

This is 'splitting hairs' surely? Since Jesus said "Turn around" ( go in another direction & follow Jesus) ( matt 18:3) This involves a form of 'converting' and THEN becoming a 'disciple of Christ'. So biblically we can say that BOTH terms are acceptable. We foten use the term 'converting to suggest 'changing' the use of something. ( The same principle applys to the word 'religion' 'sect' cult' they can all describe a Christian! ( see Acts 24:14. Acts 20:22.)
Many convert to Jesus for money in my country but do not pray to him or accept him as God in their heart. Tell me does that make them a follower of Christ or disciple?
Anyone who is a true Christian knows you have to be converted before you become a disciple. Apparently this pastor has not been converted. He has knowledge but no power or true understanding. It blows my mind. A true Christian has been converted and filled with the Holy Ghost and are now through teaching the gospel become disciples. He doesn’t know about conversion. You must be born again. This is conversion. You don’t invite God into your life. No one come to the father except through the son and to the son unless called by the father. BORN AGAIN. YOU CANT MAKE YOURSELF SAVED! This is a false teaching. This man is not truly come to the knowledge of Christ.

Well they won’t be the same if they have a touch from Christ ( monetary or spiritually), but conversion is real submission lifestyle fully to Christ.
