lol you just tried to sell buying from dealership as the better option by saying, "Yes it will cost you more money but think about the protection and security you get!" ALL dealerships are shady salesmen trying to screw honest people out of their hard earned money. Don't try to convince anyone otherwise by sugarcoating things. Makes me think you work for a dealership too
Here in California, dealers have the no haggle price and the price listed is what a buyer is expected to purchase. No negotiations at all, this goes for 90% of the dealers in my area, even the small parking lot dealers. What are your thoughts about this? Usually the prices are anywhere between $2k - $3500 over Nada or KBB fair market value.
Great video. Just have a question about bringing the private sale car to a mechanic. How would a buyer do that? It seems you would have to make an appointment after taking a road test. Is that normal for sellers to agree to that?
Hi Shari, Is it true that all the savings tactics/negotiations won't work for a rare RAV4 Prime ? Because the wait times are high and if one books it with a refundable deposit, then there's nothing much one can do once it becomes available? OR for that matter any other car that has a waiting for 3 months uo 6 months to 1 year?
I got my car from a private owner. I’ve owned the car for 3 years now and still own it and still love it.
Thank you so much for considering this topic, Shari. Helps a lot.
No problem!

Thank you!!! This was super helpful!!
When I asked a car salesman questions about the extended warranty, he lied about the benefits. Do your own research.
I got got by the extended warranty at a dealership. Never used it.. !

I'd say any car with a waiting period over 3 months you are pretty much stuck paying full price
I’ll bet you never purchased a car from a private owner? Save your speech for someone who has millions.
