I'm sorry that your husband thought this, it just shows that he doesn't value the relationship you had and that's why he decided to settle for someone else. People like him should be kicked out and go to therapy, because that's not the way to go about a marriage, in case either person has problems in their relationship. I personally would never in my mind allow myself to afford such a thing, since "open marriages" are no different than having an "affair" with someone other than your partner. I hope if you haven't remarried yet I wish you to to find a more sensible man who values and respects you more than he did with your ex-husband, as you deserve a better and honest partner. 👫💔😔😡😠😤👩❤️👨😌😉
It simply shows that your partner does not value you enough and therefore offered such an option to have a free "affair" with someone other than you. 😡😠😤
I tried it with a boyfriend after he suggested it one day after work.. I found out 2 months later he had been seeing her for 5 months... We had been together for 2 years when all this came about... I didn't stay even though I was 16 weeks pregnant and he knew, but let me leave and told me "Good luck raising the kid on my own" that kid as he called her is now 22 in college... He's never thought to look us up even though I still work at the same job even have a couple mutual friends... My daughter has a damn good stepdad that has always been there since she was a year... Open relationships never work out
The idea of "open marriages" is a stupid thing, those who propose it are complete idiots, even in history it is shown that in the harems of polygamous peoples it does not end well, so it is better to divorce rather than sharing your partner with someone else. It is obvious that those who offer it have impure depraved motives in offering it, otherwise they would be grateful for what they have in their relationship, but if they are not satisfied they can try to share and fix their concerns if something does not satisfy them and they have problems. Otherwise, their relationship is doomed to collapse, it is better to end the relationship than to hurt the other person's feelings, otherwise he or she proves that they are not worthy of to be in their relationship.😡😠😤
Never let another person into your marriage. Caring is not sharing. Love is not a three way street. You share your spouse you could end up sharing STDS as well. Love your self enough not not let another person comes into your marriage nothing good will ever comes out of it.
When your spouse suggests an open marriage, that's a🚩🚩🚩to let you know it's time to divorce them! Open marriages don't save marriages, it makes it worse.
after they married, Cara still wanted an open marriage while Robert didn't, but she didn't listen and brought men over, instead of being with her new husband and baby, she was with her boy toys. This went on for so long, Robert began to wonder if the baby was really his child and not some other guy she was seeing behind his back. After a while, he slowly started feeling what his first wife felt and understod why she left him. How he made a big mistake of thinking about an open marriage will save theirs only to break it up, of ignoring his wife, their child, all for someone who was looking for a good time. Now unable to divorce and raising a child practically by himself, he has no choice but to stand by as his new wife fooled around, wondering what kind of a life he would have if he had only listen and care about his wife's thoughts and feelings instead of his own.
I personally think anybody who suggest an open marriage is just a way of saying, ”hey can I cheat on you and not get consequences?” It’s always a beginners trap. And then the partner gets so butt hurt because his new relationship didn’t work out and gets mad at the ex partner for it, when he is the one who suggested it. It’s like the old saying goes, “you pay your money you’re taking your chances“ this is why if someone suggest an open relationship you should just leave the relationship because it’s nothing more but a guy wanting a pass to cheat.
I hate open relationships. Obviously not for me because I'm the jealous type. 2 is a couple but 3 or more is a crowd. And I seriously don't openly trust people already. I'm 43 years old. Anyone comes into my relationship is just a damn red flag.
Honestly, open relationships never work. Even if both parties look on board, there's always ONE person in the relationship that gets extremely jealous or feels their attention is on the back burner and feels left out.
This is what I think Leslie should've said to Robert when he suggested an open marriage to sleep with Cara. Leslie: Get out. Robert: What?! Leslie: You heard me, Robert. Get out of my house. I don't want an open relationship nor marriage in my life. If you're not willing to commit to this marriage, you should've said something before hand. Robert: Leslie, please don't be like this. I.... Leslie: Save it, Robert. I don't want to be with a man who wants to have an affair with someone else and be inconsiderate of his wife's feelings. You had two years of dating to tell me this, Robert. In that time, you should've been upfront with me about our future relationship. I told you that my dreams were to be married, settle down and start a family. You should've been honest with me about wanting to stay single and date around. Don't play around with my feelings, Robert. Robert: I didn't want to tell you because I was afraid you would react the way you did. I admit you're right about everything you said, Leslie. I should've been upfront with you about my future plans sooner. I don't see myself as a family man and wanted to have more time to enjoy my life, start a business and be wealthy. Leslie: You should've said this sooner instead of lying to me about wanting the same dream of marriage and a family. We could've broken up amicably and moved on with our separate lives. I'll send you the divorce papers after you leave with Cara. (Leslie throws Robert's luggage on the front yard, implicating that she's not going to tolerate his BS. He leaves with Cara and moves back in his old apartment. However, Robert becomes more remorseful in how he treated Leslie too late and now is broke. Cara dumps him and tries to get back with Liam, but she is also kicked out and divorced.)
Dude didn't care about his wife or his child. He got so twisted up in his new girlfriend. I wonder why he even got married in the first place. Marriage is forever, if you can't be satisfied in that union, then you'll never truly love or be in love.
He was motivated by money. Robert married Leslie because of her family's wealth and he just to live on easy street without working for it. Unfortunately, he never bothered to read the prenup arrangement carefully which involved affairs and forbidding open marriages. If Robert had, he would've known better and not bothered with the marriage since it means he'd be left with nothing. Leslie took advantage of his ignorance and divorced him. She took Robert to court and with the evidence of his affair with Cara along with his maltreatment of her, he loses everything. He is forced to pay alimony to her, is banned from seeing Liam and broke. Robert's problems didn't end there because when everyone found out about he treated Leslie, he and Cara were humiliated on a daily basis. She gives birth to their daughter, Nicole, from the stress she went through. Despite this, Robert is unhappy because he realizes too late that his selfishness cost him everything. He learned a hard lesson in what happens when he tries to dig a pit hoping to trap someone else, it ended up being his own grave.
That dude is so worthless ... what makes him think that he'll be a better husband to Controlling Cara and father to the soon to be child ? Well Robert , enjoy it while you can .
You're not lying about the statement : Don't fix what is beyond repair . If a spouse would ever dare to suggest OPEN MARRIAGE to you , tell him / her " NO ." and you can either leave / kick him out for making that stupid suggestion .
We need a follow up episode to this story to see how Robert and Cara are doing and if he is running the open marriage shtick on Cara and how she likes it.....after all tigers never change their stripes!
Honestly the husband wanted to cheat on his wife simply when you say I do it means we are one when her husband came to her about a open marriage she should have said no! Why would you destroy your marriage? in the end she left because it wasn't for the both off them.💯👍💯😍💯✌️💯
Very good job fellows!! Congratulations. The wife actually believed her husband saying that an open marriage would save their marriage?! He just wanted an excuse to cheat on her.
Robert have no idea the real meaning of marriage because he treats this like a joke as he brought his lover into the house after he and Leslie only just got married. Leslis should have left and divorce Robert in the first place because she deserved better but at least she end up somesone like Liam who doesn't disrespect her like Robert did.
This is what I would've done with Leslie. Leslie: Get out. Robert: What?! Leslie: You heard me. Robert: Leslie...... (Leslie throws Robert's luggage on the front yard, implicating that she's not going to tolerate his BS. He leaves with Cara and moves back in his old apartment. However, Robert becomes more remorseful in how he treated Leslie too late and now is broke. Cara dumps him and tries to get back with Liam, but she is also kicked out and divorced.)
her husband asked her for an open marriage and Robert got two women pregnant with his baby's Cara and Leslie look very beautiful and adorable while pregnant
I would never agree to an open marriage because I am perfectly happy with my current husband and I prayed to God for him ❤️ and he answered my prayers ❤️
Money. Robert married Leslie for money because her family are rich and he wanted to live on easy street. Unfortunately, he never read the prenup arrangement carefully which involved affairs and forbidding open marriages. In the end, Cara gives birth to their daughter, Nicole, but Robert is unhappy because he realizes too late that his selfishness cost him everything. He dug a pit hoping to trap Leslie, steal her wealth and leave her broke, only to fall into that pit himself. Now Robert is in debt, having to deal with raising Nicole and blamed Cara for ruining his marriage.
I read about this story on Reddit back in 2015. Leslie wrote about her story online and Robert only married her for money. However, he failed to read the prenup arrangement carefully. If Robert had, he would've known that part about having to pay alimony to Leslie because her parents airtight that to ensure no one was allowed to have an affair nor an open marriage. He wouldn't have bothered to marry her and gone to someone else who was more amenable.
I'm glad Leslie and Liam left Robert and Cara, respectively 😊 They do not deserve to be with cheaters like them (Robert and Cara) 😡 I'm glad Leslie's son, Kyle, now has a loving paternal figure in Liam 😊, who is more of a father to him than his biological father 😔 Anyway, I'm glad Leslie married Liam after they both divorced their respective exes, and now they can live as a happy family 😊
@@ladyfire44 No it's not watching the video in clips 3:44 and 9:32 it clearly shows that Cara's husband's name was Liam and Kyle is what Leslie named her son.
I think the best time for spouses to agree on "open" marriage is BEFORE they get married. That DOES happen some times but its kind of unfair to insist on it later. Its like playing a board game and deciding to change the rules in the middle of the game.
That wasn't an "open marriage". That was a straight up "open affair" of Robert and Cara. I have seen and heard of open marriages working....but only if both partners talk about it, want it, and agree to it. If one partner does not agree to it, then that open marriage will mess up everything. Also for the partner that does not agree to an open marriage, that is when divorce papers are to be served. Leslie and Liam did not want an open marriage at all and their spouses should have been respectful of that...but they weren't. They used Leslie and Liam's love to their advantage. So I am glad Leslie and Liam divorced their cheating spouses, fell in love, and became a loving family.
Robert should've told Leslie the truth about him not being ready to have a family long before they got married and moved in. This was a discussion they should've had before hand.
If the man wanted an open marriage, he should have communicated his wish before he married his first wife. Then he ignores her when she needed him the most. Why married her at all?
Better to be too much for one person than not enough for multiple people. Open marriages/relationships are nothing but an excuse to sleep with other people while in a marriage/relationship. It becomes a problem when two becomes three or more and will never end well.
If you can't give your lovers equal attention and care in an open relationship, then you're not polyamorous, you're just looking for an excuse to cheat without hiding it and expecting people to just accept it because you labeled it as "open." Sorry but an open jar can still spill out its contents when you don't pay attention to it. Worse, someone *wasn't* consenting, she was just afraid, but now she knows better: her husband is a player, and the mistress is a homewrecker.
Open marriage this, open marriage that. See, Karma caught up with Robert and Cara. They got what was coming to them for betrayal of Leslie, her son Kyle and Liam. Open relationships are definitely a no-no.
A better ending should've had a 5 years epitaph A broke Robert comes back begging for Leslie to forgive him. He explains that Cara lied to him all this time. She had not only cheated on Liam, but also Robert as well. When Cara gave birth to their daughter, Annie, he noticed she looked like his best friend, Tom. A DNA test result proved he is the biological father of Annie. Tom and Cara stole Robert's money, took his house and kicked him out. Soon, he lost his job and ended up broke and homeless. Robert regretted how he treated Leslie and wants to come back to their marriage. Annoyed, she tells him off he lost his only chance when he suggested an open marriage. How Robert wasn't there for Leslie when she had a difficult labor with Kyle. Liam was there for her as a friend and now he's her husband. He agrees, mentioning that he could've warned Robert about Cara's sexual prowess, but he refused. Liam actually wanted him to see this for himself and slams the door in his face. This makes Robert feel worse than before. He now regrets mistreating Leslie and ditching her for Cara, who turned out to be an even worse cheater than him.
He didn't get a gf overnight, he obviously was seeing her & wanted to be open about it so he suggested an open marriage. He's a disgusting man for even thinking that's ok. The wife should've seen that as a red flag 🚩 & leave his ass.
Nope, I'd divorce him if he suggested that. Marriage is for 2 people. Robert is a real jerk for what he did. I'm glad Leslie and Liam ended up together. Robert and Cara deserve each other. Robert and Cara's relationship ends and they both go crawling back to their exes but Leslie and Liam give them the bootsaying you made you bed, now you can lay in it.
Our heroine should've known something was wrong when her husband said that he found it strange that they've stopped seeing other ppl. Like, for real???? That's what you're SUPPOSED to do when u get married, or are planning to get married. Marriage is a union between 2 ppl, and only 2 ppl. You're not supposed to invite another person into your marriage. It even says so in the Bible. But, so many ppl today are consumed with the things they see on TV and in movies, and what they read about in certain books, that they really think that things like "open marriage" and "threesomes, and the like are good ways to save your marriage, when those things are just gonna destroy it. Open marriages are nothing but committing adultery, it just has a more cuter name. Just another way that the Devil tries to make something sinful sound appealing, just like always. A person who wants an open marriage doesn't respect themselves, and most importantly, doesn't respect their partner. ❤🗣️💯
When Your Spouse Suggests An Open Marriage, That's A Major Red Flags To Let You Know it's Time To Divorce Them! Open Marriages Don't Save Marriages and it Only Makes It Worse And Besides LOVE is Extremely Not A Three Way Street, All Relationships and Marriages All Comes With Partnerships, Moral Trust and Moral Rescept No Matter What Tough Situations Are in Life And Besides This Heroine Of This Story Did What Was The Best Desicion Of By Taking The Courage To Walk Out From An Unhappy Marriage With Someone Who Betrays You and Will Betrays You Again With No Reasons At All And Glad Things Worked Out At The End Of Where The Kindly Woman Finally Sign Those Divorce Papers Signed Already Would Be More Pleasure For A Good Reason And To Finally Found Love and True Happiness With Liam Who's Now Happily Sign Those Divorce Papers Signed Also With His Own Sprouse As Well And Finally Found True Happiness With Someone Like Our Heroine Which Matters The Most in The Entire World 🌎🤣🌍
An open marriage or relationship will always spell trouble. No matter what. But this society today.Believe,s in that nonsense. It doesn't always work for everybody.Only certain people that want to live like that.It takes away respect self-esteem and dignity in a relationship.Either accept the partner your with.Or don't get involved in another relationship will cause more problems in the end.Jealousy, anger and rage can cause a serious problem. In these types of things.
I'm not one to judge the effectiveness of open marriages, but if a regular marriage is failing, don't try to open it in an attempt to fix it. When in an open marriage, you don't prioritize one spouse over the other, you treat them equally. This Ex-husband was a coward who could never admit he wanted to end things and move on with someone else. If a marriage doesn't work out, and there is no saving it, it is best to end things and move on.
Speaking For Myself Personally When I Was In Relationships To The Point Things Didn't Workout I Just Break Up With Them Moving Forward With My Life Which Is Always The Best Thing To Do But I'd Never Go Behind Their Backs and Cheat Because That's Extremely Wrongful and Foul.
That doesn't make sense to me how can you save your marriage by having an open marriage? Sounds more to me like a recipe for disaster. We women can be quite jealous. Ugh, he treated his mistress better than he treated his wife.
One Last Thing= Think Twice Of Your Actions Before Regretting Them For Rest Of Your Life And Soon Or Later Will Buy The Price For it For Rest Of Your Actions in Life and Hope The No Good Tratiors Finally Got What They Both Deserves At The End?
Wow Thanks For Showing Me This It Really Means Alot Especially Since I Plan On Marrying My Future One, and Only Beautiful Pretty Korean Wife Along With Daughters And Best Believe I Definitely Allow Her To Have Space With Her Female Friends Meanwhile I Have A Night Out With The Fellas This Goes To Show Always Be Faithfully Loyalty To Your Love One.
After Liam and Leslie left them,Robert Mom have blamed Robert from not stealing the money from ex wife family and always ruined everything so she abandoned robert and let Robert to deal on his own Robert decide to do it again like he did with Leslie cheating on Cara with younger woman,Cara realize that she was been used by him and cost her marriage by her own stupid mind,Cara decide she does not take it anymore and abandoned Robert too as well Cara have ended up become Homeless and got baby been take away by CPS and while Robert ended up cause a lot in troubles and ended up been broke and homeless and Leslie and Liam have lived in big house that her ex husband used to after he put up from sale and have happy life with kid
I'm glad Kyle and Leslie broke it off with Robert and Cara after her son was born. They both deserve real happiness. 😡Cara and Robert, they're both selfish, toxic people whose idea of a Open Marriage was a immediate deathtrap!😠 I just wish the ending showed Kyle and Leslie very happy together with more kids, while Robert is very miserable and alone because Leslie divorced him and because Cara told him that her baby was not his. Cara is numb because Kyle divorced her after falling for Leslie and has given her baby up for adoption since she doesn't know who the father is and doesn't want to be tied down to an infant. They both try to win back their former spouses but it's too late. Somehow word gets out about Cara and Robert going out to choose which people to have an Open Marriage with, and now no one in their community wants to socialize with them anymore because they sincerely love and value their spouses and families. And by the time Cara and Robert realize what they did, the damage is already done. Cara's baby was now legally adopted to a childless yet loving, couple, Robert and her are now both broke, miserable outcasts no one likes while Kyle and Leslie become the ideal couple to everyone they know in the community.
Here's my follow up ending. 5 years later, Robert comes back begging for Leslie to forgive him. He explains that Cara lied to him all this time. She had not only cheated on Liam, but also Robert as well. When Cara gave birth to their daughter, Annie, he noticed she looked like his best friend, Tom. This is not a typical open marriage. I'm in an open marriage, and I would NEVER be openly disrespectful of my husband. I love my husband. I just don't happen to think sex equals love. And I love sex as well. Sex with someone you love is amazing, but sex alone isn't bad either.
You're still disrespecting your husband by cheating in your marriage. If thr sex is wack, you can spice is up in the bedroom or talk to him. You don't need to add people to your bed. You're still breaking your vows. If my future husband told me he wants to add someone to the marriage, I'm leaving them
I find it interesting that people still think this is a great thing to do to have an open marriage it never works your spouse is cheating on you or you’re cheating on him it’s a terrible thing for children to witness the tears your heart apart so I find this whole thing ridiculous but there are people out there that find it cool marriage can be a beautiful thing takes work but It can be

Open Marriages lead to fornication and adultery, an open marriage does not fix anything. An open marriage just invites trouble from the word go, you’re better off to be alone and to be tied up in a mess that’s going to drag you down with trouble, this is only my opinion about open marriages affairs gay marriages what have you it’s just bad for a person to be in a position like this thank you for listening and have a good day.
I would always say that you should try to make something else using logic. He wanted to say that he should make his marriage better, but the decision he made about it was completely irrational and only the separation could bring him. Everything is fixed in a way and if we say that something is not fixed, it doesn't matter, let's move on.
Agree to an open marriage is a mistake because it doesn't help any situation in the marriage I guess the husband suggest that just to cheat in front of his wife and bring in another woman who also is married into their matrimonial home and he spent more time with her then his wife although the wife tried but the woman is determined to make him more time with her she should return to her husband but she did want to but marriage is between two person
Except, Liam didn't warn Robert that Cara was an even worse cheater. It's likely when she gave birth to their daughter, Annie, she looked nothing like Robert at all and looks like his friend, Tom. A DNA test result proved he is the biological father of Annie. Tom and Cara stole Robert's money, took his house and kicked him out. Soon, he lost his job and ended up broke and homeless. Robert regretted how he treated Leslie in the end.
Open marriage is not a great idea! If you still want to fool around or whatever you want to do messing around with a married person then why get married right away! This is foolish! It's best to be a single person so you can mess around whenever, whatever! 🤔
A better ending should've had a 5 years epitaph A disheveled Robert comes back to Leslie and begging her to forgive him. If anyone suggest that they want to see other people while in a relationship/marriage, leave them. Open marriage is for low self esteem people who wants to cheat. If there is a problem in the marriage, communicate. There are other ways to spice things up with adding people in it. Im glad that Leslie left that bastard and found true love. Open marriages/3somes will not save a relationship/marriage. Because 9x/10x, they will pay more attention to the side piece. Sorry i dont share.
If I have a husband that states he wants an open marriage I will hand him divorce papers. I am not down with that!
Exactly. I think it’s crazy and only irresponsible and infidel people would choose an open marriage.
I would've kicked his ass out of my home if he did that to me.
thats where your marraige go to die
Exactly what I also immediately had done! An “open” marriage never ends with anything less than a divorce… 😢💔
If you're gonna be in an "open marriage", then you might as well be single !!
Exactly.
Wow I'm sorry but so glad she has a good step daddy
The idea of "open marriages" is a stupid thing, those who propose it are complete idiots, even in history it is shown that in the harems of polygamous peoples it does not end well, so it is better to divorce rather than sharing your partner with someone else. Never let another person into your marriage. Caring is not sharing. Love is not a three way street. You share your spouse you could end up sharing STDS as well. Love your self enough not not let another person comes into your marriage nothing good will ever comes out of it.
Caring is sharing but merriage is not for sharing no way no how
So true
You sure is Right 👍
Agreed. If I had been Leslie, I would've been long gone.
Love is for breeding healthy offspring whose DNA came from two known parents, not stray mutts. 🙄
When your spouse suggests an open marriage, that's a🚩🚩🚩to let you know it's time to divorce them! Open marriages don't save marriages, it makes it worse.
They sure do
well, if theres one thing i liked, is that how the husband talked to his wife bout it first rather than just to go right ahead an lie to her
That depends on the couple. Some work but others are really just a flimsy excuse for the husband or wife to cheat
Amen to that
Nope 😒
after they married, Cara still wanted an open marriage while Robert didn't, but she didn't listen and brought men over, instead of being with her new husband and baby, she was with her boy toys.
There's a good thought for Robert . As the consequences has already caught up with him , he only has himself to blame . ☹️🤥
THANK YOU. The just deserts ending
Yep these things never end well it was proven many times especially to those who aren’t completely on board
Honestly, open relationships never work. Even if both parties look on board, there's always ONE person in the relationship that gets extremely jealous or feels their attention is on the back burner and feels left out.
@@RavenDanzig yep that too
This is what I think Leslie should've said to Robert when he suggested an open marriage to sleep with Cara.

The wife actually believed her husband saying that an open marriage would save their marriage?! He just wanted an excuse to cheat on her.
Robert have no idea the real meaning of marriage because he treats this like a joke as he brought his lover into the house after he and Leslie only just got married. I would never agree to an open marriage because I am perfectly happy with my current husband and I prayed to God for him ❤️ and he answered my prayers ❤️
Dude, marriage was never open for third-wheelers. Her ex-husband is obviously making excuses in cheating on his wife. 🤣
Why did he get married if he wanted to see other people?
Money. Robert married Leslie for money because her family are rich and he wanted to live on easy street. If Robert had, he would've known better and not bothered with the marriage since it means he'd be left with nothing. Leslie took advantage of his ignorance and divorced him.

I think she didn't believe her husband was serious at first but I love how it ended.
Very True - Never try to fix what is broken beyond repair. ✝️✝️✝️🛐🛐🛐
The husband should stay with the pregnant wife

That’s what happens when you fall for trash
Divorce and take him for everything
I would always say that you should try to make something else using logic. He wanted to say that he should make his marriage better, but the decision he made about it was completely irrational and only the separation could bring him. Everything is fixed in a way and if we say that something is not fixed, it doesn't matter, let's move on.
Good end
Agree to an open marriage is a mistake because it doesn't help any situation in the marriage I guess the husband suggest that just to cheat in front of his wife and bring in another woman who also is married into their matrimonial home and he spent more time with her then his wife although the wife tried but the woman is determined to make him more time with her she should return to her husband but she did want to but marriage is between two person
So in the end, both men exchanged partners and children? 🤨 Liam raises Robert's son, and will Robert raise Liam's son?

How is having an open marriage saving the relationship? its not....
