Crazy build, but I have huge respect for someone who is willing to take a really big risk on new technology. The wife is like a Saint, And he is a gentle bulldog with one of the most dangerous jobs in the world, just look up, fatalities in his occupation, it’s no joke❤

Hats off to both of them. They built what they love and it’s incredibly unique. I personally think it’s wonderful…and brave. I could easily live there. Despite everything, it’s their love of their creation and it’s imperfections that thrill me to bits! Congrats to the both of you for building contrary to the norm…love that!

It is a bit extreme for my taste but I really admire how some people are ready to do things in a totally uncompromising way.

I won't pretend that this building is finished to my own preferences. Nevertheless, as a building it is fantastically interesting and in the highly unlikely event that I would purchase it, redecorating the inside to meet my own tastes would not be that difficult a thing to do, although likely costly. The same goes for the outside as all one would have to do is plaster it and paint it. Perhaps adding some tasteful wooden elements to the exterior too. Structurally, I wouldn't want to change it at all. I applaud them for creating something that is to their tastes and daring to be different.

All exceptional pieces of Architecture are supposed make a statement....if they don't, then they aren't Architecture...Once finished, I feel this should be one of the greatest residential homes on the planet.....If it was mine...I would do a kinda 'Luis Barragán' treatment to the pool...maybe paint it in a rust coloured metallic paint to ground the 'pond' into the landscape.

I love old block of flats in Poland, all very harsh, brutal to the eye, concrete. This home is something I would love to own, just not entirely sure how well it's insulated and water proof (some angles ceiling looked a bit wet/damp? 😢)

I love the honesty of the material. In this case, however, you had to take a step back and assess the situation better. The outside is brutal, which is interesting, although dirty, and the inside is tragic. Great episode, thanks.

There is very little resell value here ,not pleasing to the eye .But you have to respect them

      Oh my goodness!
That is not nice to look at, you are right. Brutalism at its worst.

People would basically buy a blank canvas they can finish to their own taste so I see loads of resale value here.

"There is a danger it could become quite austere..." Now, that's a fine bit of Scottish understatment!

Brutalism architecture always causes a lot of conversations but it's a form architecture that exists... But it looks good

Concrete doesn't age well and the look is an acquired taste so I see a plasterer in this building's future to de-brutalize things a bit, for starters indoors.
