    Hi there Laura, it’s fascinating watching your videos, for which i’m ever more grateful because of this virus lockdown here in Portugal, as your style becomes sparer & tighter that also shows off the plants to best effect. Bravo!

      Thanks for the video content! Forgive me for the intrusion, I would love your opinion. Have you heard about - Proutklarton Protecting Aqua Plan (google it)? It is a good one off guide for getting prepared for a mega drought without the headache. Ive heard some extraordinary things about it and my close friend Aubrey finally got astronomical results with it.

    I am completely addicted to your channel, Laura.
    I love to garden and have been seeking inspiration since moving to the Sun Valley area from the PNW. You have given me so many terrific ideas...and I've learned so much about a whole different style of gardening!
    Quick question, if you happen to see this...
    I have created a small pocket garden and populated it with succulents. Shortly thereafter, we were visited by a family of javelina who sensed a 'fresh buffet' and had a grand time nibbling and uprooting nearly all of my new succulent friends. Do you have any advice as to how to ward off or deter javelina? I have searched online but haven't found anything solid. I'm currently using organic rabbit and deer deterrent as well as cayenne pepper. Nothing like overkill. Haha!
    Thanks so much, again, for your wonderful videos.

      How frustrating for you!! I get gophers and voles occasionally as our property backs up to open space. The best control that I’ve found, hands down, is my cat. Thing (named in honor of Dr. Seuss) earns his keep and then some.
      Try perimeter planting with yummy festuca grasses. Perhaps the fuckers will fill up on dessert and skip the succulent main course. Good luck and god’s speed🎉

    Another beautiful reveal! Quick question: how do you keep the rock beds clean if neighbors have deciduous plants that shed detritus and leaves into the yard?

    • @LauraEubanks
      @LauraEubanks  8 років тому +2

      ROXANNE BEAUCLAIR great question!
      I'm careful to limit rock work where these conditions exist.
      Sometimes creating a wide flagstone path is the answer. Covering an area near or under messy shrubs or trees with stabilized decomposed granite can also be a solution.
