There are so many players at the top of their game injuring their ACLs. The game has moved in a positive way in terms of fans coming to games and publicity, but the facilities, both training and rehab, are far, far behind their male counterparts. The game is at risk of losing top top players to serious injuries more needs to be done to protect the players. After all, without them, there is no football. I'm glad Beth and Viv can help each other through, and we will be there to welcome them back when the time is right ❤️

The silver lining in this is that it's probably VERY good for their relationship. You're in a very odd and unusual position, but your partner knows EXACTLY what you're going through, every step of the way and not because she went through it years ago, but because she is currently doing it right along with you. It has to be strengthening for them as a couple.

As an Arsenal fan seeing them both out for a long time would probably be sad coz these two are our key players in the club but now they out. Guess we going to see how life goes while not seeing both of them on a pitch for a while which is even more frustrating and sad just to think of it. I understand the remarks about them being able to be their for each other by going through recovery together but I actually think it will be quite though for their relationship…. They seem very different personality wise so will deal with recovery very differently and will each have their good and bad days at different times. From my experience, recovery from an injury while your partner is doing the same at their own pace and in their own way is not that easy. Hope they will get through it together or alternatively they will find an environment that is best for them personally.
Not the best we’ll back but I’ve talked to my doctors and sergoun and they agree that ACL tears are linked to the time frame about two weeks after your period when you ligaments are loosest but it’s externally hard to get the right sample group to do this type of research.

So many unfounded reasons why women are doing there acl so here’s another one. Ellie Carpenter’s ex Kyah Simon. Ellie’s current girlfriend Daniëlle van de Donk and her ex Beth Mead and her girlfriend Vivianne Miedema. All recently done an acl. Geez I would be scared if I was Lisa Evans 😂
