vxsr33. no it's because they don't break down as much as shit American cars lol....I own 3 Honda's and rarely have any problems. I also have my own repair shop and it's mostly Chrysler and Ford in there
@@-sb33-33 There are quite a few honda owners that do all their own work. For instance. My transmission blew up. 2 days and 200 dollars later I had another manual transmission in the car ready for work on monday. If you cant work on your own shit get a bicycle you fucking troll
So my civic is straight piped, no cat or resonator. At this point it is so loud and raspy. I just want to get rid of the rasp and make the noises between 2.5-3k rpm quieter. I'm hoping that vibrant will make my straight pipe quieter in the low rev range, less raspy overall and hopefully still get to hear the VTEC go nuts lol
Trance Kowhai I know this might be too late but have you tried looking into a helmholtz resonator? Those things work amazing but you have to do the math yourself to find what specific frequencies you need to cancel out
the yonaka sounds and performs great for the 250$ price tag... I bought a civic with a invidia catback and it sounds like shit. thats why i'm here doing research on which muffler to get welded on. I'm wondering if the DNA mufflers are similar to vibrant? They are cheaper and look similar.
Thats for just the muffler not the full cat back. The set up i have now is the ebay cat back piping (150) vibrant resonator (100) and muffler (another 100) so for 350 its a great sounding exhaust that doesnt sound ricing nor does it drone
I have a ek too. I had yonaka catback before and it was quite when u dont step on it and loud when u did. Is vibrant the same kinda? I want something less noisy than my ebay axle back
It is similiar to that. at high rpm it is a bit raspy i am about to add a vibrant ultra quiet resonator for i have heard of great reviews when it is paired with this muffler
yea i know i miss said alot of things in this video for it was my first review video but yes i agree ebay is a site to sellthey dont have their own brands. i shouldve said cheap knock offs or something of that sort
Lincoln Project naaah i did that with my resonator. I totally wish i had got the rear muffler first. But as far as noticing the sound? Yeah... Cat first(just to know its replaced) but for now on i may do headers last. Just so i can decide if i really want to drive thru more noise coming from the front
so back to the bashing. Honda never produced anything that was more than fuel economy and longevity. never performance. Ok maybe the f1 have Honda's name on some of their engines that's not real life.
And before you talk about specs, I own a 5th gen Prelude and it is such a fun and great experience to drive and the acceleration surprises people because it's a Honda
What about spoon tuned Honda’s or the type-r line up. After all Vtec is an ingenious way to have a cam timing system that both saves fuel and gives performance at a certain rev range.
in conclusion, in 2001 the fast and the furious made kids think Honda's were race. even since people still to this day race them. like trying to fly a skate board.....never meant to do this.
Japan races these like crazy. Quarter mile is trash but for track and mountain roads these things are great. Super light and alot of em have great weight distribution.
Prelude nsx s2000 type r and honda didnt try to make there csrs compete on the drag strip but they did make them to be able to have fun on mountain's or on the tracks and they did an amazing job why do you think they came with double wish bone suspension all the way around. Honda since the very beggining has been sporty look it up 2 over there first cars where little sports cars and the other one was s mini truck but lets set that to the side. Like it or not hondas have a large community around them because they are great cars and if tuned and showed a little attention will do some serious damage.
There are also brand name stuff on ebay as well. I research everything before i put something on my car and i recommend that to everyone. however I do have to say that some stuff that is "high end" is out of reach of some people budget. so for that reason i suggest start with ebay AFTER researching do get cheaper prices. and more affordable parts but also if you look deep into it name brand and or good quality. Ebay is a place to buy and sell, theres alot of crap yes but there is also quality stuff there.
True but when i started i want to do stuff myself and it was much easier to justify hacking and learning on cheap parts. You can always upgrade, but yeah, for kids starting out it's part of the process.
Jonathan Urban totally agree man! You customize how you want and according to your personal budget. I don't understand why ppl can't accept that everyone has preferences. I wouldn't choose Vibrant, but it does sound a bit deep and different than what you previously had on there. Btw, sick beanie tho!
i have this same muffler. ..i have not cat it was very loud and raspy i added the vibrant ultra quiet resonator and wow it sounds so good
people always bash Honda's, but it's funny how there's tons still on the road and you hardly ever see them in the shop lol
PS4BOY81 probably because they are so cheap they aren't worth getting a shop to work on them

Surely vibrant is cheap? It's literally 100 dollars on Amazon for me

we all drove a Honda at one point in our teenage years and thought it was race. let's just get that out there lol
Some people love hondas, so stfu
from silver fart can to black fart can

Wtf? Look at my videos, those mufflers doesn't even cost more than 30$

in his defense....
Too bad there isn't any ebay branded exaust...
Sounds good
I have the same one ☝🏼
dont ever say ebay is a great place to start. do your danm research its 2016 and do it right the 1st time.
