@@GarethDix Haha! Yah i had a lot of prior soldering skills before fpv so that part is easy for me. I actually recorded doing all 4 motors and camera connector on the white one but it was 25 minutes and boring so i cut it out
Got my Air75 yesterday, super difficult to fly indoor. Apparently, I've already broken one canopy and it is seemingly impossible to reach a fraction of your level. What rates and expos do you set for indoor flights?
It doesn't come close to picture quality of the 03 so for sure not the 04. The DJI stuff is 10bit h265 really high quality codec. Even walksnails best cam the moonlight that can do 4k isn't at 10bit or as high of band width. The 1080p on board walksnail recording for a 1s whoop is fantastic though! Nothing beats it for 1s yet. My only complaint is the sharpness settings can't be reduced on the 1s lite boards and it is way too much sharpening.
I’m still flying 4 diamond boards, although I’ve got one that video keeps crapping out on me, so it’s about to get retired or converted to a LOS rig lol
@@kestrelfpv4712 yah they hang in there. Most of mine have been through 3 racing seasons and 2 IGOW seasons which is insane. That’s thousands of batteries and crashes.
@@Apollonius-Au-Raa Sorta i get out now and then but it isn’t a regular thing. If you look back a few videos there are some fun endeavors out and about. Get a betafpv setup to start with. They are really easy to get into and low risk with a tinywhoop that’s light weight and crashable. Budget makes a difference if you want to really go in get a top tier radio and goggles first and then a few bind and fly small quads you can bash around to learn. Break em and then repair/customize as they break.
awesome dude, im a beginner do you know how i could get a similar setup easily ? im looking for a tiny fpv drone with the best image quality possible and easy to build
@@ant0ine_riou if you’re starting on it go after a bind and fly first. It’s hard to beat them these days. I still get them usually and then just make tweaks as parts break. Betafpv air65 or newbeedrones new one are great options. For a digital build that’s probably another story that is more involved…
@@letrevz2584 PIDs or Rates? Rates for racing are 650degree/sec on all. Freestyle are 880, 880, 1000yaw. Pids to overly simplify it I use stock pid but turn up master to 1.35 and turn up Dterm 1 click and iterm down 1 click. I don’t care much about the tune or rates though and fly it through most issues. Bad props, loose canopy, dog hair in motors so i keep the pid pretty tame to allow for more lazy in the moment flying
Best RaceGOW3 video right here! Great job!
@@JohnnyScarsFPV wow thanks!
i was worried such a long video would flop but if y’all like it o keep em coming
Beautiful dog mine goes crazy grabbing my drones
@@Nickc582 Thanks! he’s a pretty cool dog but does go after them if i get too close to the kids.
The real skill here is 3:56 soldering a motor back in without removing the plastic frame without melting it... I could never!

i thought that’s how everyone does it

Great video - Walksnail picture looks great. Curious if/how DJI O4 will compare in future.

Do you ever gorilla whoop? Also, what would you recommend for someone just getting into fpv drones? I've been flying standard drones for a while now.
