Turning a boring beat into something super fire - 3 ways to fix your unfinished beats
What other tips/techniques do you have to level up your unfinished beats?
How to come up with a full song from a 8 bar loop
Use a reference track to follow arrangement
Be innovative, don’t limit yourself by genre or sample packs, use your ear and combine things to create something unique and new.
Ask a musician to play an instrument over it.
Bro next time u might wanna turn off the background beat when the actual beat is playing
Little editing blunder. My bad I gotchu next time
i liked it better in the beginning
I love that it follows the Kiss rule (Keep it simple, stupid). Even this simple beat sounds so fire and chill at the same time!
Just a matter of taste. Sounded fine before and after.
I like how you’re using the stock samples in FL Studio. It really helps to compliment the mix!
Always preach making things easier and I love this guys mindset and how he breaks it down. Great video.
Quite appreciated, thank you!
Glad it was helpful!
This is great!!
Real fire 🔥🔥🔥
Why is there sound-bed music playing over the music?
Appreciate this video definitely dropped some jewels
anyone still confused after this vid ? lol
Yeah, I thinks also an ad
🔥🔥🎶🎧🎵🎶🎧🎻GREAT WORK
I see a lot of negative comments on this video, but not much constructive feedback. One thing I think should've been stressed is that simple is good for certain genres, but it depends what kind of beat you're making (instrumental is going to be arranged and mixed much differently than one that will have a vocal on top) so in this case you'd want it to be as simple as possible to give room for the vocal, but if it was just instrumental I think it sounded a bit boring/repetitive. There is such thing as too simple. I think an idea for a future video could be how to make each section a little more engaging for instrumental genres (without vocals)
that sample is too good
and the best part, u can find it on splice! just search up reveal cassette on splice and u will find it
@@Person-cc1xb thanks bro!
@@Person-cc1xb lol how much they pay you fam
Notification squad✊
Take out the vocals samples during verse parts
"Just so you know, the beat I'm about to play is terrible..."
Me: Obviously you've never heard of JJIceFish or Tay Zonday...
It was okay for a base idea. The synth melody in there just didn't seem to fit. Now let me finish watching your video and see what you've turned it into. 😊
I cringed at the sound of the beat before he fixed it but then he dropped the new sounds in and I been bouncin the whole video.
You barely did anything. Damn man. Good job.
still boring
Lol didn't actually teach anything here. Just "make it better".
nah
Beat was not terrible at the start
