- Hi Guys.
I hoped I'd get more in this video but my go pro died much sooner than anticipated so had to scrap the rest of the video I had planned, so just ended up using the whole of the wayfarer, hopefully it's not too boring watching but I had a blast riding it.
Anyway, this is a well know trail called the Wayfarer, which stretches across from Llangollen to just outside of Bala, North Wale, a good run! Technical in places but all in all a great trail. I'm sure the Wayfarer is also a part of the TET, the Trans Euro Trail.
Please let me know in the comments on what you would like to see in coming videos, or different places you could suggest to go ride..

🤣 YES! The fucking gates! Hahaha, always in stupid places aswell alot of them. Can do a full 9-10 hours of riding and cover 70 mile, be quicker walking.
How does the World Raid feel offroad? Is it heavy with a full tank? I saw another video saying that its feels lighter than the standard T7 even with 20kg more the tank is lower.

Raid felt heavier than my standard T7, seating pos to the tank is also too level for my liking, and far to high.. then you've got the vulnerability of those tanks if it hits anything solid.
You mentioned the tires a few times, are you still running stock tires, or have you upgraded?
Hey søren. Still on standard pirelli scorpion rally tyres at the moment unfortunately. Will have some knobblies on her soon enough... They cost so much money 😭

🤣 the big bikes are all fun until you have to pick the fucker up. I'd never take a GS off-road personally, I'd be terrified of banging those exposed cylinders off or rock or rut... Or a rock in a rut!
so towards the end of the video you think it's ok to just leave the gate open???? Then shortly after two sheep are running from you so obviously the gate was closed for their safety to keep them on the owners land!
I'm sensing an attitude in your comment there Stephen??? 🤔 watch the video again, the gate on the left is entrance to the field on the left which is closed and not related to the gate on the trail, every gate i open gets closed again. I leave them as I found them 😉
GREAT TO SEE THE T7 AT PACE - WHY THE f don't they offer a user fix / menu option for the abs.....for such a great machine that is a dumb feature
I know mate, it's very VERY annoying! I have found a way around it as mentioned in the video, by stalling the bike and not turning it off or putting the stand down, but still irritating having to reset all the time. No to mention dangerous, if it's re set an you don't realise and youre already off-road and at pace, as soon as you need the brakes they may not be there with the abs, will end up a massive wreck!
