The inhabitants of Romania are called Romanians. Unfortunately some people confuse Roma (also called Romani or gypsy) with Romanias because of the similarity between the words Romania and Roma and Romani, so these people believe that Roma are the inhabitants of Romania, not the Romanians. We have a Roma (gypsy) minority in Romania (like many countries), but they represent only a few percents of the population.
