I love seeing all the MREs from different countries. It's interesting to see the different approaches to feeding their troops. The next time I drive down to Sacramento to visit the Russian stores there, I will be looking at the packaged foods with a new perspective. Thank you!
Greetings from Russia. I ate similar dry rations. The opener that came with the kit is a standard solution, as well as instructions that are not quite suitable for a one-day MRE. The opener is designed for canned food in larger MRE`s. I don’t know about the ones on the video, but I usually really liked the biscuits - a great replacement for regular bread. Porridge and caviar are usually always very good. I don't like coffee in princepe. But from the looks of it, it looks like something really bad. Tea "Майский" - probably the cheapest that happens. Instant drinks like Адаптон are much nicer.
i learned with those stoves, dont fold the tabs totally vertical, leave them angled a little bit so they support the tin better and wont fall over, the other thing too is you are more immersed in the flame where its cooler more so burning your food is less likely to happen. takes a little bit longer by a few minutes but the fuel tabs will last. btw, loving your channel.
As Russian, i can say that i am not sure that it is what FSB is eating because on the top its says OAO and company name. OAO stands for public company with stocks being traded on stock market. Any company related to Russian military cannot be public, so only government should own 100% of that companies. Also real military MREs have everywhere Не для продажи what stands for “not for sale”

I'm sure you're already aware, but burning fuel tablets inside or without good ventilation can be a bad idea depending on what they're made from. When burned hexamine blocks can produce formaldehyde, cyanide, ammonia and nitrogen oxide gasses. Which is not very cool.
The ones we get in the US are generally better than what they issue. It's pretty bad when the soldiers dig through concrete and asbestos to get the food from a bombed supermarket.

Hey why don’t you save the little stove for other meals that way you can keep their little come pleat kits and still get the full experience. And you can buy fuel tabs separately to use with the stove

The 24 hours Belarus is around $90 or so after shipping. I think this one is around $40 or $50 after shipping. They're not cheap! You'll see cheaper ones on ebay, but you have you be careful as the cheap ones might be long past their expiration date.
In the UK you can buy the Russian 24h ones for about £60!! Expensive. I prefer the French, Spanish and UK ones. Better selection and cheaper. The USA MRE's are just awful though

You are braver than i am i wouldn't eat a Russian or Chinese ration if it was the last existing ration due to food safety issues. At least the mystery why the second army in the world is failing is solved. Weak coffee weak offensive 😉
99.9 % of us English always put milk/creamer in our tea. The travesty is bloody no milk/creamer and leaving the bag in whilst drinking. How common 🤣😂🤬🤬

you are totally right. it's military ration for a 1 time meal, not "FSB Special Forces", as I can see on a packaging

I like the Belarus 24 Hour Combat ration the best so far. Not really sure who has the worst.
