I’m sure a lot of people will say Currents is Kevin Parker’s best, but I’ll say even this record is up there with his later discography. Every track is so intricately detailed. The more often I revisit the tracks on here the more I love all of their respective aspects. Tame Impala is truly a genius
this album is the most timeless imo even it’s not my favorite. some of the best songs he’s made are on this project, including possibly the best song he’s ever made, runway houses city clouds. this is the definitive vibes album, just walk through the woods on a sunny day and take it in

Something that I always thought about Runway, Houses, City, Clouds was that the intro is being on a runway, and it builds and builds until it takes off into the air, then the lyrics hit you, and it makes you slightly homesick. I can never not take off on a plane anymore without trying to synchronize this song to the takeoff. Truly a masterpiece of a song.
The album is so underated, 44 best album of all time yet one of the best psychedelic rock albums I've ever heard. I put it up there with revolver by the Beatles. For Kevin to have made the whole album by himself is fascinating, great reaction to the album 👍

This album has sooo much replay value. Also PLEASE check out the album Live At Sofi Stadium by Abel It’s a live album from his concert and its just a bunch of Weeknd hits that you liked but somewhat remade and performed a little different. Definitely worth checking out !!

First time hearing this album is through this video and I gotta say i I had nothing good or bad to say about the songs. It kinda feels like a thought provoking album and every song is just a moment In thought, then once that song is over it’s like “on to the next feeling/thought”
I still think "it is not meant to be" is the best one. I get instant chills everytime i listen to it.
