So much to see and do and so little time! Thanks for the glimpse of Americana!
This video is so much fun to watch as I did the EXACT same thing - nerding and fan girling in Amanda’s booth! It so cool to physically be in a space you’ve seen in videos countless times.
We only live about 10 miles away from Verona's factory antique Mall and we visit regularly. Absolutely love the place. The food at the cafe is actually pretty good as well.
This was so much fun, thank you! Loved getting to go antiquing virtually with you guys.
Hey! I went there this summer! I picked up a 30’s Royal model o from there. It was fun but boy was it a ton of walking! 😂
Lol! I LIVE AMANDA'S MERCANTILE TOO!!
As a West Virginian, I can attest to the fact that Tudor's Biscuit World is a state treasure and, for many, a way of life. ;)
My father collected antique typewriters for years. I think he had about 30 of them at one point and most of them were really old over the top strike. Typewriters. He eventually ran out of space and just decided to sell off his collection. I thought they were pretty cool
Yeah, Ok I too am Amazed by when I'm out flee-matketing / Antiquing, garage sailing
Yard Pureeing. And i can't find anything to buy ? FAAAAAAAR FRECKIN OUT ?!
I can relate.
I can relate to the Fan Girl comment. I would too!
There is a stretch of US 40 in eastern Indiana from Richmond to Greenfield known as "Antiques Alley." One small town has 10 antiques stores.
Wow- now I know where to go on vacation
Awww one just like my brown automatic Coronet !! ♥️🤎💛
Another fine video! Enjoying virtual antiqueing with you folks.🙂👍
Been wanting to check this place out for the longest time. Good place for typewriters?
I only spotted a few, but that was a few years ago!
Oh my gosh. I’ve been to all of those. So fun ! Think I need to go back ( it was a year ago). Did you see any ribbon tins?
I did see a few- not specifically at the factory, but things rotate all the time I’m sure!
wish we had these in Australia, great video
Agreed
no need to apologize for having a personality oOo
Virginia Beach has a bitchin antique mall
I live a few miles away from Harrisonburg. But I've always found the name too funny
You should try Apple Annie's antique gallery in Kashmir Washington between Leavenworth and Wenatchee. They have 70,000 ft² plus a little 50s diner. I think you very much enjoy that antique Mall plus there's one across the street that's also fairly large however I'm willing to bet you probably won't come all the way to Washington State to antique LOL
maybe I'll get adventurous
New sub ! Liked 👍✌️😊🐸
14:50 no Brasil, carro com parabrisa trincado dá multa e apreensão
New sub ! Liked 👍😊🐸✌️
watchinf from brazil...amazing video
New sub ! Liked 😉✌️🤘🌙
Legit the smith corona coronamatic you saw at the antique shop is legit the one I have
Very cool
@@JustMyTypewriter the side loading ink cartridge is a bit weird but it's a pretty good machine imo. Mine had a loose screw that caused the ribbon not to advance but after I got that fixed it worked like a charm
@@JayJynxTrash I tend to avoid the coronamatic ribbon machines because of that weird cartridge
@@JustMyTypewriter that's fair
I thought I recognized the car.
I can't believe you didn't see the Oliver at 7:21. Why didn't you mention that machine? Of course it was out of your price range, but anyway ...
It's a common thing in the back of Amanda's videos- so I guess I wasn't surprised to see it!
I think people want to go back to typewriting their Correspondence and snail-mail so they don't have to share their personal information with the NSA.
Could be- some people just like the nostalgia of the analog
You gotta fix that windscreen, that crack is out of control! I fear for your lives.
it wasn't my car! it did get fixed recently though
Dude. Get that windshield fixed.
I did yell at him for a bit about it until he finally got it fixed....months later....
@@JustMyTypewriter 😄 Fair enough.
I woull not call that an antique mall because i see very few real antiques in it., Looks like lots of flea market junk. Sad that people do not know what a real antique store should look like anymore.
