The short answer for the question of "Is Sephirot related to Sephiroth" is no. The longer answer is sort of but only superficially. The name Sephiroth is a reference to the concept of 'the sephirot' which is the name of the tree of life in Hebrew mysticism iirc. It's a sort of abstract concept for the cycle of life, death, and rebirth. Sephiroth's name (as far as I'm aware at least) was chosen primarily because it sounded cool. Sephirot, however, is a more direct reference to the namesake. Sephirot is the god of a race of tree-like people that revered and feared him in equal measure. For every new life, another was snuffed out. Such was the nature of life, a chaotic storm of words, beautiful and terrible in its majesty.
Lore question: Sephirot (FFXIV) & Sephiroth (FFVII) arne't directly related. Sephirot is actually related to FFVI originally. The name's origin has their connecting detail: Səphīrōth (סְפִירוֹת, medieval Hebrew form of Sephirot; also spelled Sefirot), is a plural noun in Hebrew; the singular is Sephirah (also spelled Sefira). The Sephiroth are described in the Kabbalah as the manifestations of God that allow him to manifest in the physical and metaphysical universes. Sephiroth also means "counting" (of numbers).
@@Redblaze27 He's named for the above, as, during the game, he tries to make himself a god/the Will of the Planet in order to recreate reality as he wants it to be. its also related to the "tree of life" symbol, hence why he's basically a tree god. As for the FFVI connection, these 3 primals are based on the Warring Triad, a set of statues that are a key element to that games plot. They were only known by specific terms (Fiend, Goddess and Demon), whereas these names and their role in the world are unique to the FFXIV setting (or at least, were officially introduced here, think the names might've been floating around internally before).

"Can you imagine what this song would sound like live?" I SAW IT! Square Enix holds the FFXIV Fan Fest every other year, and it has been in Vegas for the past few events (except the most recent, which was digital only for obvious reasons). They always include a concert by The Primals, a band formed by composer Masayoshi Soken. When I attended in 2016, this song was played. It was amazing seeing this convention center become home to a rock concert, being surrounded by fellow nerds all rocking out to the song. Especially when the song goes "SAY MY NAME", and the crowd screaming "SEPHIROT!!!" Gives me chills just thinking about it. Can't wait for the return of live events!
Dude, I grew up on Tony Hawk's Pro Skater games, and I lost my fuggin' MIND when I fought Sephirot. I went down a whole internet searchfest k-hole just seeing other people saying it sounded like When Worlds Collide, and it was so validating seeing you reach the same conclusion. Cheers, man! Love your stuff
Talking about Ramstein, the song "Unbending Steel", which is the theme of Ravanah in ffxiv, is often called the "Ramstein" song. Maybe you will react to it some day so I won't spoil anything but I'm sure you will hear in the first 20 seconds why.
@@JessesAuditorium Ah yea I saw the premiere timer now. FF14 has a giant boom right now and with 8 years worth of content there are easily 100+ songs people love ( the inofficial OST list is currently at 449!! Songs) So if you keep sticking with the game you will have a lot of videos to make :D Who knows, some day you have seen every boss in that game thanks to their themes being requested.
Loving these reactions, you should check out “Howl of the Departed” from Lost Odyssey. The composer is the same as the og FF games: a man that loves classical, metal, and rock music and puts it altogether into a masterpiece! And just cuz, it’s got some nice guitar too :3
the lead singer of powerman 5k i think, was talking about suing square enix on twitter when this song was popular because it sounded similar nothing happened though :) edit: watched the end of the vid
You know, it would sound rad af live, but the chorus just makes me want it in some home theater surround sound. You'll notice it more as you listen to more FFXIV music as the expansions go, but that "dial tone" is kind of a lite-leit motif for many of the songs from the HW expansions. Eventually you get to Shadowbringers and Endwalker music where its hard to tell in some songs how much of the song ISNT part of a callback lol.
@@BlazeBuds "Almost." It's a simple beat and common time signature, "almost" every industrial band has had something very similar. Michael Cummings complained about it on Facebook years ago, and never took any legal action.
Not sure if it's been recommended but I'd recommend e-scape, landslide, through the maelstrom, and blinding indigo from ffxiv. Probably those last two together so he can hear the change
Yeah this song also reminded me of Rammstein. I have an old Wing Commander Prophecy soundtrack that they did a song for. I guess some other notable late 90s metal bands did songs for that soundtrack too. Might be worth looking up. I don't know if the songs made for that soundtrack ever showed up on albums by the bands or if this was exclusive to the soundtrack. 🤷♂️
I know i'm late, but fun fact: Just this and Ravana's Theme (Unbending Steel) were both sung by Dan Inoue, who to my knowledge is not a singer, just a guy from the localization team that they realized had a talent. Sadly these are the only two songs he did vocals for.
Spider One of Powerman 5000 accused Masayoshi Soken of "theft" but he claimed that he had never even heard of the song When Worlds Collide when he composed Fiend. I suppose its all up to individual speculation whether people believe that or not. Its still a banger of a song.
Surely you would have someone checking to make sure they haven't used parts of other songs. Music artists do to make sure they don't get sued. Disappointed in 14 but its still a great song
Yeah, so Powerman 5000 actually got upset and accused Soken of ripping them off. Spider One posted about it on the band's Facebook in 2016: "Really? Got to say that the level of unimaginative theft that was used in creating this music for #finalfantasyXIV is mind blowing! I mean, this is When Worlds Collide! Using something as inspiration is one thing but a straight up rip off is another! Did they really think no one would notice? #FFXIV#ripoff To clarify, this is music from the game. If it was a song made by a fan, we wouldn’t care." Naoki Yoshida then actually made an official comment on it: "Regarding the Music for the 2nd Phase of Containment Bay S1T7 I have read through your comments concerning the BGM for the 2nd phase of the Containment Bay S1T7 battle with Sephirot, and I would like to personally explain how the track was conceived. As most FINAL FANTASY fans already know, Sephirot (the Fiend) is a legacy boss character who originally appeared in FINAL FANTASY VI. When considering how to portray Sephirot’s return in FINAL FANTASY XIV, we decided to pay tribute to FFVI by working VI’s “Battle to the Death” track into the Containment Bay S1T7’s first phase, while opting to create an FFXIV original for the second. Building upon the motif of Sephirot as a representation of the World Tree, to create this FINAL FANTASY XIV original track, we further incorporated story-driven themes of death and a warped obsession with life, all while utilizing a musical genre─industrial rock─which we believed would provide substantial emphasis to the message. Industrial rock is a popular genre that can be further divided into numerous sub-genres. Countless songs from these genres have been released worldwide, and I have been made aware of an allegation regarding similarities between an existing track and the track created for the 2nd phase of Containment Bay S1T7. However, track composer Masayoshi Soken, has also stated to me that he was unaware of the track in question while working on this FINAL FANTASY track. We hope that you continue to enjoy FINAL FANTASY XIV battle content." Spider One then replied in another Facebook post to say that the band wasn't thinking about suing or anything: “UPDATE on the Final Fantasy music controversy. Fascinated by the level of interest in this. Opinions range from total agreement to extreme hatred towards the subject (and me apparently) So crazy. The original post was a two sentence observation about a piece of music that was way too similar to be coincidence. Since then it has been taken as some sort of declaration of war. Oh, internet… Anyway. There’s no lawsuit, there’s no cry for attention or publicity. Just an observation. Going back to my normal M.O of not participating in social media. Thanx for the fun! See ya on the road in March/April
Thank you for this summary! I was aware of the similarities between this and When Worlds Collide. And I knew that Powerman 5000 was accusing Soken of ripping their song off. I also saw that Kotaku wrote Powerman 5000 allegedly sued Square Enix over this, which is actually not true. (typical Kotaku) It's a bit frustrating that Yoshida's only explanation is that they chose industrial rock for reasons and the composer Soken was not aware of this song while making the music. It's pretty obvious that people now say that's bullshit, but sometimes coincidences do happen. Soken produced a pretty substential amount of tracks for FFXIV, so it's not out of the realm of possibilities that there will be similarities like this. But I also get it when people say that's BS. What I dislike about this story is how people rant on the internet about Powerman 5000, who are, if anything, the victim here. They didn't sue Square Enix, but even if they did, it would be their right to do this. But fanboys just jumped to Square Enix' defense, even if they didn't need it.
@@CycloneFox I honestly don’t think Powerman 5000 can use the victim defense here. They don’t deserve harassment, but to claim a song is a “ripoff” and claim it is “unimaginative theft” for the entire body of the song is a serious insult. I can see why fans of Soken’s work would be incensed and rise to its defense.
There’s a song called blinding indigo in ffxiv which is fantastic but the ff14 band the primals has a re recorded version on the ffxiv official UA-cam channel and its VERY good
When we say Soken has range, we mean that man has RANGE I don't think there's a genre of music he hasn't touched that's in FFXIV. From rock, metal, techno, epic operas, even rap. There's just no end to it.
"imagine hearing this live" It's funny you should say that, the game's Translator and Lead Composer have a band called The Primals, and they've done multiple live performances of FFXIV songs. You can probably find video of them doing this song at a fanfest.
Honestly, when I played this part of the game and reached Phase 2, my first thought was "How the hell did they convince Jonathan Davis to sing a song for FF?" I honestly needed to look up who the vocals were because I was so convinced that it was the lead signer from Korn :'D
lmaoooo as SOON as your face lit up. Yeah. That specific intro section sounds a HELL of a lot like When Worlds Collide, yeah... Jury's out on whether it was inspiration, or a shout-out, or just uhhh... Cheekily borrowed. I can't really say much other than that if I was a musician and a frankly brilliant composer used a small snippet of my work, I'd probably either be honoured or be a bit sassy while trying to turn it into a bit of free PR. ... I definitely wouldn't sue them lmao. Very Metallica move tbh.
Most of these songs are from the perspective of the primals, too. So he's essentially telling you that everything in your world is meaningless and that you WILL die eventually. Most of the primals taunt you or boast about themselves during the fights and it adds another layer to everything already.
There is a connection between sephirot and sephiroth, but it's pure tangential. Both are named after the same Jewish concept. Sephirot is the true spelling with sephiroth being an angicised version often used interchangeably.
Nice vid dude, ya should react to some songs from Metal Gear Rising OST as well! A lot of them are bangers, mostly the boss themes from the game, like Stains of Time, The Only Thing I Know for Real, It Has to be This Way, Red Sun and Rules of Nature. I think any of them would be awesome to hear your thoughts on it.
Funfact: This song was played live. Soken, Koji Fox, and other team members are in a XIV themed band called the Primals and play many of the songs you've heard have been played live and arranged. Other funfact: Sephirot's name is linked to a tree of the same name from...I wanna say catholism or judaism the tree of sephirot. His followers before they were genocided/captured to be batteries were tree people and believed him to be the tree of life that life to the planet.
@@JessesAuditorium after the first time I did this fight I legitimately had to look it up to see if if they were involved. By the way, since you like piano and you like FFXIV music you should check out literally any of Keiko Osaki's music even if it's just for your own enjoyment. A lot of the piano you've heard in FFVIX is her playing, but she does solo renditions of some of them that aren't in game and I haven't found one that didn't blow my mind even as someone who didn't think they were really into piano before FF opened my ears.
Ah FF14 always having such bangers. This sephirot was bigged up in the story as being this ancient god that manipulated an entire civilization until its imprisonment eons ago. And the song really sells it.

@@JessesAuditorium Awesome, thanks for taking the time to look into some of those! Excited to see your thoughts on everything coming up. The guitar player that's prevalent in the video (next to singer) is Soken. Soken also does vocals on quite a few songs.
The front man of PM5K actually raised a stink about this song accusing Soken of copying them and calling his music unoriginal. It didn’t go much further than 2 angry posts iirc.
@@aslanameret He brought it to court, and the judge threw it out with a comment basically saying "you cant say all industrial metal stole from you" The section of "When Worlds Collide" that this song was accused of copying actually has different key, different time signature, and all of its basic components are actually pretty different when you compare them. It's just a very surface-level style similarity, and Soken had never even heard of them before the lawsuit, he was just binging industrial metal and this song was what came out of it
@@BroadwayRonMexico I knew the 2nd part so I knew the claim was preposterous. However I didn’t realize it had gone that far. The last time I saw anything from him was when posted a complaint about the hate he was getting from people, how he was just making a statement with no intention of going any further and then said this was why he didn’t like to use social media. I had figured he’d put it to bed. I hadn’t heard he threw off the covers and kicked it into court.
So there I am, queueing up for this boss for the first time. I'm wondering what kind of orchestral, strings and brass music is gonna' accompany the bos- WUB WUB WUB WUB WUB WUB SEP! HIR! OT! I've played the game years, and they still surprise me in the best way every time xD
Hey man, you should check Kefka's theme from this game. It has 4 movements and is absolutely fabulous, more like a classical orchestration with renaissance motifs than a classical Final Fantasy tune.
Fun thing, FFXIV has a band called The Primals, which is a group of the devs of the game (including Masayoshi Soken) - they have live performances at the Fanfests, and there's a few videos of their songs on the official ffxiv channel (no official playlist unfortunately) - most of the popular songs are performed Might be fun to checkout :D
Two songs I would suggest come from Granblue Fantasy, belonging to one of the most intense raids in the game: Zero, an immense, 12-minute long track singing about the final boss, and What Makes The Sky Blue, which plays towards the end of the fight. The reason I suggest the two is because the latter is best heard with the former fresh in the mind. But if you choose only one of the two, then that is fine, as they're lengthy songs by themselves (Especially Zero in particular).

If people ask me what genre of music I like I just say FInaly Fantasy 14.
for real lol
games like these introduced me to so many genres and instruments I would never have given a chance or even knew they existed at all.
"Can you imagine what this song would sound like live?"
I SAW IT!
Especially when the song goes "SAY MY NAME", and the crowd screaming "SEPHIROT!!!"
Gives me chills just thinking about it. Can't wait for the return of live events!
Sepirot and Sephiroth are both named after the exact same thing (The Sefirot, an aspect of Kabbalah Mysticism). Thats literally it.
I don't know how people can't hear they sound nearly identical in parts. Me and all my friends all thought it was worlds collide for months
Talking about Ramstein, the song "Unbending Steel", which is the theme of Ravanah in ffxiv, is often called the "Ramstein" song. Maybe you will react to it some day so I won't spoil anything but I'm sure you will hear in the first 20 seconds why.
Reacted to Unbending Steel earlier today. Uploading later this week :)
@@JessesAuditorium Ah yea I saw the premiere timer now. FF14 has a giant boom right now and with 8 years worth of content there are easily 100+ songs people love ( the inofficial OST list is currently at 449!! Songs) So if you keep sticking with the game you will have a lot of videos to make :D Who knows, some day you have seen every boss in that game thanks to their themes being requested.
i knew ud hear powerman5k too, its so damn similar lol
👀
Loving these reactions, you should check out “Howl of the Departed” from Lost Odyssey. The composer is the same as the og FF games: a man that loves classical, metal, and rock music and puts it altogether into a masterpiece! And just cuz, it’s got some nice guitar too :3
I second this. I haven't even played the game but Howl of the Departed is some insane shit lol
So glad you immediately thought of "When Worlds collide", I also connected the two songs when I first heard this.
the lead singer of powerman 5k i think, was talking about suing square enix on twitter when this song was popular because it sounded similar nothing happened though :)
edit: watched the end of the vid
You know, it would sound rad af live, but the chorus just makes me want it in some home theater surround sound.
You'll notice it more as you listen to more FFXIV music as the expansions go, but that "dial tone" is kind of a lite-leit motif for many of the songs from the HW expansions. Eventually you get to Shadowbringers and Endwalker music where its hard to tell in some songs how much of the song ISNT part of a callback lol.
Gave me more of a Downward Spiral era Nine Inch Nails vibe than Powerman 5000.
Parts of the song are almost identical to worlds collide lol its just a flat out rip off. I love 14 but this is disappointing by them
@@BlazeBuds "Almost." It's a simple beat and common time signature, "almost" every industrial band has had something very similar.
Equilibrum is another amazing and underrated soundtrack
not to mention the deep meaning of the lyric.
Coming very soon :)
Disappointed in 14 but its still a great song
never connected the powerman 5000 honestly; this song always made me think of Dragula by Rob Zombie for some reason instead XD
I'll always remember my first time fighting this boss. I was the "Main Tank" - we got to the second phase and I IMMEDIATELY exploded 🤣
Good times.
Yeah, so Powerman 5000 actually got upset and accused Soken of ripping them off.
Spider One posted about it on the band's Facebook in 2016:
"Really? Got to say that the level of unimaginative theft that was used in creating this music for #finalfantasyXIV is mind blowing!
I mean, this is When Worlds Collide!
Using something as inspiration is one thing but a straight up rip off is another!
Did they really think no one would notice?
#FFXIV#ripoff
To clarify, this is music from the game. If it was a song made by a fan, we wouldn’t care."
Naoki Yoshida then actually made an official comment on it:
"Regarding the Music for the 2nd Phase of Containment Bay S1T7 I have read through your comments concerning the BGM for the 2nd phase of the Containment Bay S1T7 battle with Sephirot, and I would like to personally explain how the track was conceived.
As most FINAL FANTASY fans already know, Sephirot (the Fiend) is a legacy boss character who originally appeared in FINAL FANTASY VI. When considering how to portray Sephirot’s return in FINAL FANTASY XIV, we decided to pay tribute to FFVI by working VI’s “Battle to the Death” track into the Containment Bay S1T7’s first phase, while opting
to create an FFXIV original for the second.
Building upon the motif of Sephirot as a representation of the World Tree, to create this FINAL FANTASY XIV original track, we further incorporated story-driven themes of
death and a warped obsession with life, all while utilizing a musical genre─industrial rock─which we believed would provide substantial emphasis to the message.
Industrial rock is a popular genre that can be further divided into numerous sub-genres. Countless songs from these genres have been released worldwide, and I have been
made aware of an allegation regarding similarities between an existing track and the track created for the 2nd phase of Containment Bay S1T7. However, track composer
Masayoshi Soken, has also stated to me that he was unaware of the track in question while working on this FINAL FANTASY track.
We hope that you continue to enjoy FINAL FANTASY XIV battle content."
Spider One then replied in another Facebook post to say that the band wasn't thinking about suing or anything:
“UPDATE on the Final Fantasy music controversy.
Fascinated by the level of interest in this. Opinions range from total agreement to extreme hatred towards the subject (and me apparently)
So crazy.
The original post was a two sentence observation about a piece of music that was way too similar to be coincidence.
Since then it has been taken as some sort of declaration of war. Oh, internet…
Anyway.
(typical Kotaku)
It's a bit frustrating that Yoshida's only explanation is that they chose industrial rock for reasons and the composer Soken was not aware of this song while making the music.
The Rammstein comparison is on point.
What A Fiend!
There’s a song called blinding indigo in ffxiv which is fantastic but the ff14 band the primals has a re recorded version on the ffxiv official UA-cam channel and its VERY good
ooh yes, blinding indigo is great.
When we say Soken has range, we mean that man has RANGE
I don't think there's a genre of music he hasn't touched that's in FFXIV. From rock, metal, techno, epic operas, even rap. There's just no end to it.
"I just remembered something!" *Us Powerman5000 AND FFXIV fans nod and chuckle* YUP!
"imagine hearing this live"
It's funny you should say that, the game's Translator and Lead Composer have a band called The Primals, and they've done multiple live performances of FFXIV songs.
You can probably find video of them doing this song at a fanfest.
power man 5000 when worlds collide that the song its like
Honestly, when I played this part of the game and reached Phase 2, my first thought was "How the hell did they convince Jonathan Davis to sing a song for FF?" I honestly needed to look up who the vocals were because I was so convinced that it was the lead signer from Korn :'D
Yea I can hear that a bit.
Fun fact - I used to look a LOT like him awhile ago when I had dreadlocks / wore glasses lmao
@@JessesAuditorium Noice :D
lmaoooo as SOON as your face lit up.
Fun fact: Powerman 5000 was saying FF14's sephirot theme was ripping their song When Worlds Collide off.
I love 14 but to be fair they did rip it off. If they really wanted to sue they would win
This song really hits me as like a mix between P5K, NIN, and monkey on drugs to string it all together. I love it!
I honestly thought it was a Powerman 5000 guest appearance on the sound, based off of how similar it is to "Worlds Collide" by Powerman 5000.
I feel alot of Trent Reznor in the vocals, especially the razors edge parts of the lyrics
Good ol NIN
Just discovered you love your reacts! I always got a power man 5000 when worlds collide feel from this song like extremely ahah
Most of these songs are from the perspective of the primals, too. So he's essentially telling you that everything in your world is meaningless and that you WILL die eventually. Most of the primals taunt you or boast about themselves during the fights and it adds another layer to everything already.
I swear this song always reminds me of Powerman 5000 lol When Worlds Collide :)
100%
Yooo i was about to recommend this song in the comment but this came up can't waiiiit 😭
This song made farming the mount a lot less annoying. Had to kill him 70 times :V
i never get why the F... the mount of sepphiro doent have this theme, just a farting melody.
sephirot and sephiroth are only related by the thing they are based on (they are based on the same thing) beyond that no
There is a connection between sephirot and sephiroth, but it's pure tangential.
I have a patreon request for It has to be this way! So that's for sure coming soon :D
@@JessesAuditorium yoo thats sick!
I see Jesse on FFXIV music again. I like and comment as I need moar xD
10:17 Did he paid in the end? XD
The next track from the same series of trials, Equilibrium, is really something special.
Have had sooo many requests for Equilibrium
Pls do a ffxiv endcaller one too x3
SAY MY NAME!! SEPHIROT!!!
I love me some PowermanXIV
ha!
I recomment two songs not FF XIV related (o.o) from the same band, Static X - Push It and Machine.
I love Static-X! Heard both of those, I approve lol
Likely been recommended a bunch, but hey, I'd love to see your thoughts on any of these:
Persona 5 Strikers: Axe to Grind
SMT Strange Journey: Fear of God
Digital Devil Saga 2: Hunting (Betrayal) or Brahman
Undertale: Megalovania (as much as it is a meme, it's great)
Omori: You Were Wrong, Go Back
Nier Automata: Bipolar Nightmare
Persona 5: Rivers in the Desert
Dark Souls: Gwyn's Theme
Devil May Cry V: Devil Trigger
Hotline Miami 2: A Way Home
Love the content you're putting out, here for it regardless of what you react to. Feel free to interrupt the music more and offer personal thoughts/insights on individual instrumentals and themes you notice. It's great to hear your thoughts on individual parts of songs.
Thanks! I have definitely some of those on your list that I reacted to (earlier today) and will be uploaded this week. I'd keep an eye out :)
@@JessesAuditorium Awesome, thanks for taking the time to look into some of those! Excited to see your thoughts on everything coming up.
May be a weird thought, but maybe when you start running out of the big recommendations, you could react to some outright bad video game music? I know for one the Basement track from Resident Evil Director's Cut is widely considered to be as if the creators recorded clowns farting into brass instruments. Would be hilarious to see you dip into the other side of it, even point out what could've been done better.
Thanks again for making these, hope you have a good one!
@@Golemie Totally not opposed to it, I'm actually still kinda waiting for a "bad" song but that's kinda hard in VGM land. The viewers have all requested good tunes thus far, but I'm always going to be honest regardless.
Attempt 3 at requesting Twice Striken from FFXIV
SAY HIS NAME
*SAY HIS NAME*
You managed to find a video of the slowest Sephirot clear ever XD
Good for our ears!
You should react to Metal from FFXIV
This week! As well as the other two that go with it
Don't know if anyone posted this yet... Not the best video but it's something.
Live Version: ua-cam.com/video/qEEC2X0MkIU/v-deo.html
The Singer is the lead English localization and has written the lyrics for the majority of the songs (including Answers, Dragonsong, etc...). The guitar player that's prevalent in the video (next to singer) is Soken. Soken also does vocals on quite a few songs.
I know whenever this fight comes along we joke that we queued in to listen to some Powerman 5000, as it has such a similar style and sound
Almost identical lol
The front man of PM5K actually raised a stink about this song accusing Soken of copying them and calling his music unoriginal. It didn’t go much further than 2 angry posts iirc.
@@aslanameret He brought it to court, and the judge threw it out with a comment basically saying "you cant say all industrial metal stole from you"
The section of "When Worlds Collide" that this song was accused of copying actually has different key, different time signature, and all of its basic components are actually pretty different when you compare them.
I'm wondering what kind of orchestral, strings and brass music is gonna' accompany the bos-
WUB WUB WUB WUB WUB WUB
SEP! HIR! OT!
I've played the game years, and they still surprise me in the best way every time xD
Honestly I can hear the power man 5k style in it XD also I dunno I liked bombshell, I thought that was a good track.
The song always reminded me a little of Powerman 5000 song called When The Worlds Collide.
They do live performances in ff xiv fanfest the band is called the primals headed by soken.
Hey man, you should check Kefka's theme from this game. It has 4 movements and is absolutely fabulous, more like a classical orchestration with renaissance motifs than a classical Final Fantasy tune.
react to the amh amh aereng theme please it is awesome.
Now imagine how pumped we, as players are when we fight this guy while listening to this. Haha, it's nuts.
nice, powerman
haha the first thing i said when i heard that bit was this sounds like Rammstein too! thanks for the content! easy sub
The edge is calling tonight!
The black wolf stalks again😎
Big fan
!!
Fun thing, FFXIV has a band called The Primals, which is a group of the devs of the game (including Masayoshi Soken) - they have live performances at the Fanfests, and there's a few videos of their songs on the official ffxiv channel (no official playlist unfortunately) - most of the popular songs are performed
Might be fun to checkout :D
Got a Patreon request for The Primals so I'll experience them soon :)
All Dark Knight mains, please stand for our pledge of allegiance.
Thanks!
Thank you friend
Two songs I would suggest come from Granblue Fantasy, belonging to one of the most intense raids in the game: Zero, an immense, 12-minute long track singing about the final boss, and What Makes The Sky Blue, which plays towards the end of the fight.
The reason I suggest the two is because the latter is best heard with the former fresh in the mind. But if you choose only one of the two, then that is fine, as they're lengthy songs by themselves (Especially Zero in particular).
I haven't heard any GBF yet! Hopefully after I clear my queue a bit
THE EDGE IS CALLING TONIGHT
