You make me jealous, large German receiver that blows away every other one. Where did you buy this, my friend? I hope to have this one day. Greetings from Belgium ON3MK Mor 73,
Thanks, both the 895 and the 896 are ‘dream list’ radios. The 895 came out of the Danish Coast Guard and the 896 came from a ‘well placed’ collector in Germany. Unfortunately you pretty much have to be in the right place at the right time to find someone willing to part with one of these. Good luck!
You need to redo this video, please. The audio ofcthe radio was clashing with your voice, making it rather difficult to hear what you were telling us. Thanks kindly.
Thanks Chuck! Beautiful radios!
Thanks Nick!

I certainly will. May be separate from a general features video though. Thanks!

Yes, it's difficult to follow what is said.
But still nice to see these two receivers working. Thank you
You are absolutely right. I will redo the video and remember to keep the audio of the receivers at a reasonable level. Thanks for the useful comment!
Hopefully the new video I uploaded tonight will be more understandable.
Sync Detector?
Sorry, no Sync detector present on either the 895 or 896. The 896 does have a preamp that the 895 doesn’t though.
