Another entertaining video and thanks for explaining the jighead weight selection. Too often in other channels they do not take the time to explain why they have gone for a certain jighead weight. I’m still learning, well you never stop learning but I was always guided by the principle that you use the lightest jighead that gets you to the bottom.
I use Shimano rods and reels too. Affordable and great. Though I've got the previous model Stradic that came with two spools. They're tight arse bastards nowadays.
Hmm. You know what's interesting... all your jiggle fishing soft plastic so far are pretty much the exact same types I use for freshwater Largemouth bass over here in the states. This year I'll be focusing on using a 4" finesse worm though. I wonder how those would do out there. I have a fresh pack of Zoom 4" finesse worms in "cotton candy" waiting for season's open.
They go really well here. Not to sure what the zooms are made out of but the material on the Jiggle fishing ones is super stretchy and durable, no need to change over every few fish when they break some others.
@@LandFishTV Zoom baits have been a Bass fishing staple over here since the late 1970's. They're made out of normal soft plastics (granted it's a proprietary blend but normal plastisol non the less)

Are those ML zodias good for flicking soft plastics?
Yeah love it!
what would be the top 2-3 best colors for the 4" curl worm & jig head for it. for any fish species
My favourites are Red Shard, Galaxy Shad and Ocean Spark at the moment 👌
thanks alot
@@LandFishTV also what jig heads would be perfect for the 4 inch?
@@LandFishTV also what scent would you recommend?
For this type of fishing I was using the 3/8oz 2/0 bullet jig heads, it always pays to have a range of different types though.
Great video
I’m keen to know what your rod and reel were. Also was that Gippsland Lakes 😀
