What a wonderful organ that cohesively combines various eras of organ-building into one instrument. Great demonstration by an organist who clearly knows his instrument very well.

Wow! I had heard about the 1921 Skinner at St. Luke's Episcopal Church and the 1961 Aeolian-Skinner at Northwestern University, but this is the first time that I have heard this fine Austin! (I'll bet St. Luke's is on your agenda.) If you ever get to Detroit, we have the oldest extant 4-manual Skinner at First Unitarian-Universalist Church, the commanding 4-manual Skinner organ at Jefferson Avenue Presbyterian Church, the 4-manual Wangerin-Weickhardt organ at Fort Street Presbyterian, several fine Casavants, and a whole bunch more!

This organ is amazing (speaking biased) ! It cemented Austin being my favorite builder. I was there around 2000, as the unofficial assistant organist and a choir section lead. it was being rebuilt (before the new console) so at one time we only had the Solo and Choir, then we only had the Great and Swell. It never lacked the ability to fill the room. I remember when the tuba was installed, the first time I played it, I jumped off the bench about 3 feet, we all got a great laugh out of that.

This is one of the best romantic organs you have selected. A very competent organist in residence too.

If a CD hasn't been done on this organ, I think one should be made.
I'm impressed with the firm that built the new Great diapason chorus.

What a wonderful organ you have!❤ I wish I lived close by. I would attend your services. Reminds me of my old church's organ. Unfortunately church and organ were destroyed by fire. 😢

Thank you for this wonderful tour of this Austin in 2023 livery. It is a marvelous instrument as revealed by this video. I was able to enter the unique Austin wind chest of the organ in the Spreckles Organ Pavilion in Balboa Park, San Diego. This opportunity was after a regular Sunday afternoon recital on the organ. I was part of UU musicians organization. I Have also heard the Austin at a Presbyterian Church here in Pasadena. Again thank you.

Absolutely fantastic. The voicing on this organ is perfection. Organist is knowledgeable, and fully understands the instrument! And of course the acoustics of the room are quite nice as well. I’ll echo what others have said below: more recordings need to be done on this organ!

Years ago I had an LP done by Austin Lovelace on this instrument. Loved it... so what a delight to have this tour today!

If you guys ever end up back in Minnesota, you should check out the organs at Martin Luther College and some of the surrounding churches. There are some great ones! St. Paul's Lutheran and St. John's Lutheran in New Ulm, St Peter and Paul Catholic, and the Bethany Lutheran Collage Chapel in Mankato are a few of my favorites!

I’m not so sure that he would be able to get access to the MLC organ, or any WELS organ for that matter

Some of the stop combos were so beautiful they were almost tear-jerking! Do you think for future projects we might be able to see some of the coupler rail? Also different pistons maybe? Thank you for your time!

The reflection of Brent's hand in the music rack is giving a particularly Addams Family vibe. 🤣🙂
