I thank God for your ministry. I truly wanted to get back into Bible study, but it was a struggle. Then i decided i really wanted to tap into God's power as the disciples of old. As such, I decided to embark on the study of Acts. Bam! There you showed up with Acts. I am only 4 days into the study, but my new study Bible is already covered with notes. I am enjoying this and being encouraged through the word of God. Thank you, and may God continue to use and bless you
Wow! God bless you! Thank you so much for your encouragement and for sharing this with me and everyone here. I am so glad you're here. Let's keep going together ☺️
Once again Thank you for letting Gods word shine on us today and for bringing Gods word alive through your Love of his word so enjoy listening and soaking up everything you have to say Amen 🙏🤗❤️🌹
Glory to God! 🙌🏼 thank you for encouraging me as I continue on. The 🌹 emoji just made me smile so much thinking of planting, and watering, and flowers blooming in so many who are here on this journey, including myself
I am enjoying reading through the Bible and seeing the verses so differently as you highlight each one! Thankyou for being faithful and taking the time to do this, so others can grow in their faith!
I'm so glad you're here and enjoying reading the Bible with me. Thank you for your encouragement and kind words. Some days I need that boost when it seems to take a long time to add Scriptures and things, when technology has issues, when I need a boost on those days I come back to comments like yours. So thank you.
Another great study!!! You do such an amazing job with these studies. I am so glad I found your channel at the start of Matthew. You make studying so much easier for me. Once we get back to our home(we have been visiting our daughter and son-in-law in PA the past 5 weeks) I am going to watch Matthew and all of what you have done in Acts again and take notes in my Bible journal. I did not bring all my journaling stuff with me. Keep up the awesome job you are doing! God bless you!
Oh I'm the same way with that journal 😉 I actually watch these back myself because often the Holy Spirit will drop some things that I've never even thought of before so when I watch back I learn all over again.
Ok, 🙋🏽♀️ I gotta say…It seems to me that after receiving the Holy Spirit, the disciples grew almost overnight. They went from asking question after question (often missing the points Jesus displayed before them), to moving according to God’s will in such great faith. I don’t remember Jesus praising the faith of those who walked closest to Him. But it’s awesome to see them grow from disciples to apostles and not only showing signs n wonders, but doing what Jesus did n referring all praise back to the Father in Heaven. BUT Peter also cracks me up! He is NOT letting up about reminding the people what they did to Jesus!!!
Oh this is so awesome!!! Such a powerful recognition - and a truth that we as disciples today need to walk in... THAT POWER!!!! I've always known so much of Peter with specific stories, but this time through I feel like we are getting his whole personality and I'm loving it!!!
Verse 4 - usually I do not want beggars to look in my direction to slow me down. Also they are usually looked down upon. Yet, here Peter asks him to 'look at us'. Don't hang your head in shame. Peter held his hand. When I do give money to beggars, i try hard to not allow my hand touch their filthy hand. But here Peter volunteers to hold the beggar's hand. So much food for thought.
