We waited 12 hrs in A&E to get seen whilst others whom came much later with minor ailments were seen straight away & clearly based on their ethnicity yes unless I had not observed personally would not have believed this is happening in NZ today.
That leading story on TV1 news last night was PATHETIC!!!! The way her party entered into the room in formation was sickening. This is something she can keep to herself. None of us give two 💩‘s about her personal situation. Their party is an abomination, all of them.
🤣My 10 year old daughter came home from school very upset, two of her friends had a fight & she was caught in the middle... As parents we treated the problem as very real, being cognisant of her age & thus level of development... I have long tried to understand the Green party & learnt overtime to see them as I see children, still going through the early developmental stages on the way to becoming fully functional adults....

Chloe Swarbrick was so fake during that press conference. She looked like she was trying her hardest to break into tears the whole time. They were all nodding in unison. I personally don't want to hear about their personal lives and didn't see the need for a press conference.

This so-called party is supposed to stand for the little person but won't stand for women having private changing rooms. I'm starting to think the Greens have been cursed. The misfortune that has hit this party in recent times makes you wonder if a higher power is angry at them.
I've started to wonder at that higher power's plan lately. Perhaps as each Green MP falls away, it only paves the way for Chloe, left unscathed and immaculate, to achieve her true ascension. Somehow, she is feeding on each fallen soul, her empathy and compassion swelling. Soon she shall stand alone, but with a light in her eyes that outshines even Jacinda's, blinding us with it's incandescence. Just a political theory.

Your comments are so just Mike. I watched the Green Circus on TV and couldn’t believe what I saw. You see I also have cancer……. I’ve unfortunately had it 5 times in fact. Melanoma in 2000, prostate in 2006, bowel in Aug. 2023. then shocked in Sept. 2023 when a post surgery CT scan. revealed a tumour in my left lung. I had most of the lung removed last December but since then unfortunately it has found to have spread to my bones. Fighting it which chemo and immunotherapy treatment ongoing.
So I had 5 different cancers … some say I must be the bravest person alive, I feel like I’m the unluckiest. To Marama Davidson good luck….. hope things go well for you. But you didn’t need your posse lined up behind you on TV. to publicise your news and glean some votes. Most of us cancer patients quietly go about our daily lives, chemo every 3 weeks, fighting through the tough days and making the most of the good ones. No bugles, no drums, just hoping to still be alive to see my grandson next Xmas. Respect resolve, and quiet consideration would have gone down better Marama and not offended me and I suspect others. Catherine Princess of Wales showed how!

My first thoughts also, and if she was honest (impossible for that bitch) she would blatantly refuse any assistance from those she says she hates. Traditional maori methods should be the only treatment she accepts.

I'm an older woman who was first diagnosed with breast cancer five years ago. I'm in the Waikato area. I have to say that my care in the public health system was fabulous! After my GP visit I was seen very quickly in the breast care unit at Waikato, came under the care of specialists in the service and had my mastectomy with very short wait time for the surgery. Had a recurrence two years later, more surgery and amazing care. Had good follow up care and have had good recovery. Although working in a stressed health system, all the nurses, doctors and auxiliary staff couldn't have been more caring, more pleasant or more professional.
Yeah my wife and father have both been in the health system in the last two years and they were both taken care of very well.

Mara-muh Davidson gives my arse a headache.
I am grateful for the time we won't have to see her. My two older sisters died of breast cancer and no one was aware, except our family and friends. The treatment given to both was inadequate and that is why I choose to keep healthy and don't publicise my experiences, even though my life has seen me being in the public eye at times, many years ago. I am not a hypocrite and won't say anything about being sorry for her because she is a first rate professional bludger and I don't care about her.

Yes I wondered that to, why should she get payed dose anybody else in the same situation get payed for having that much time of work. But then politicians have always feathered there own nest at the expense of the taxpayers.

The moment I heard it I knew she was politicising it for the Loopy greens. So what when thousands of women get breast cancer every year and have operations. Two additional thoughts: 1/ she has been looking quite physically unwell for quite a while, so I'm not at all surprised to find she's been diagnosed with something like that. 2/ There has been a massive increase in cancer diagnoses among people who have had three or more shots of the mRNA shot. Just sayin'.

The New Zealand health system is extremely patchy, completely inadequate in places and world class in others. Apart from the absence of funding for the experimental late stage terminal cancer drugs, which people have to pay 50-100,000 dollars for themselves, when you have cancer you get comprehensive first class immediate treatment. So unless Marama is terminally ill with late stage breast cancer, the care she is receiving/will be receiving is absolutely exactly the same as what everyone else gets when they have cancer, and that care will be excellent.
I was wondering if there would be anyone in a place like this who would be decent and knowledgeable enough to describe the immediate and truly thorough and excellent care received by people who have possible symptoms of cancer.

She is just one of very many women who suffer from this condition, so she's not unique. There appears to be a rather large increase in cancer since a certain potion was thrust upon us. Her politics are the total opposite of mine, but I do wish her well.

How come she gets the treatment so quickly?
At age 77 at the start of Dec 2021 I was confirmed with BC. Jan 6th I was on the operating table. (with a white female surgeon). I got the impression that this was fairly normal timing. I've had nothing but excellent care from hospital and community services. Apart from my family and close friends, not a lot of people know my health history and it's not something I talk about to all and sundry. For a politician to make a public speech about their health, it would have to be politically oriented, why do it otherwise. More sick in their heads than in their body.
