I'm a F150 guy, owned 5 of them, switched to this Silverado RST in Red Hot. I love this column shifter, and Silverado interior feels that has better quality and more technology. 14 in Infotainment on the Silverado is great, love the landscape layout, vs the square layout in the F150.
You know I saw a sandy color Trailboss with the refresh and it wasn’t bad.
RST can have the safety package for around a grand which gives you surround camera system, rear cross traffic alert, blind spot monitoring and more. Another few hundred gets you buckets with floor shifter. That would match the Ford pricing. Plus that wasn't an FX4.
I like the Chevy column shift!
Good videos but I haven't found one video from you comparing a ford f150 with the v8 5.0 to compare it to the other trucks that are always v8's
Chevy looks better. And with the new interior its the best. Fords nice to tho.
unfortunately the last 2 GM trucks I have owned.. 05 Sierra Pro Sport had the infamous castech cracked cylinder heads around 50k traded in for 2011 GMC all terrain transmission slipping in 3rd gear at 60k. 🤷
The Chevy looks too bulbous. The F150 looks more practical.
6.2 gets worse mpg than the 5.3, and chevy recommends premium fuel ( over 90 octane) for best fuel economy and performance in the 6.2, in the 5.3 they say you can use 87 octane on up, so where i live 87 octane is regular, 89 octane is super, and premium is i think 91 octane, and with fuel prices right now i would rather be able to use the regular, otherwise i would prefer the 6.2 but think the 5.3 is very good too, obviously my personal preference is chevy, so i would pick a silverado
I would take the white one..
Not talked about enough:
Xlt 302a: passenger power seat with lumber
Rst w/ convenience pkg: NO power passenger seat or lumbar
No visor vanity lights in xlt (unsure in rst)
Xlt: auto dimming rear view mirror
Rst: manual dimming rear view mirror
Between the two truck models I’m going with Ford but I do like the new interior on the Silverado (props to Chevy) 👏
Do they have the oil leak issue like past models?
Chevy gang
I’ve seen a RST with a Rally package in white and the grill is all black
Both are nice!!
XLT should have 'auto 4WD' included at 57K. Oh that's right, I can get it for another 10 grand if I move up to the Lariat!
Chevy for me. Have always been a fan on gm
there both nice trucks, and im a ford guy
I like the Chevy
Ill take the chevy
FORD BEST TRUCK 🛻 EVER 🤜🏾🤜🏾
these trucks are the same year but that means nothing, this f150 generation started in 2021 and this Silverado generation started in 2019 in 2019 the 2015-2020 f150 already existed, and Ford released their new generation in 2021 and in 2021 the 2019- current generation Silverado already existed. This Silverado is still the same one they released in 2019, 2019, 2020, 2021, all had a horrible interior to alot of people so they updated it with the interior you see in this video, this f150 is newer than all the trucks out from Ram, GM, Nissan, and Toyota, alot of people do not know this
Silvy rides nicer as well
Just traded a 19 Ford for a 22 Silverado. Like my new truck, but the Ford handled better. A lot better.
56k and still have a bench seat??
gmc for me
Chevy!!!👍
I own for 2012 yes👌💪👍
Ford looks way better man
I like the Ford better, I'm not a fan of the full digital gauges, .
Chevy for sure
What I can't figure out is what is up with these high end trucks .why no rear wheel well liners.the chevt has it bet it must of been a add on because most dont.my trailboss did not .got bose stereo no wheel liner go figure
Rear liners are in the bed protection package which is the liners and spray in bed liner.
The long-term cost of those twin turbos scares me.
They drive for 100k miles no prob.
A lot of turbos fail because people don’t know how to drive a car with boost. They floor it whenever they can which completely eliminates any potential fuel savings and damages the engine and drive train.
my 3.5 ecoboost has 172,000. last oil change they told me my turbos were leaking oil and i needed to replace them. cost $3500. not horrible for 172000 miles. i opted not to change them and am just trying to take it easy on the truck. trying to get another 6 months out of it while i look for a new one. that being said, i'm leaning toward a V8 ford or Ram to avoid the turbo issues next go around
Turbos don't have oil leaks lol it's air lol they were trying to take advantage of you! Make sure you change your blinker fluid too!
@@granthoepfner8990 You really don't know some turbos have oil in them? I wouldn't go around correcting people if you have no clue what you're talking about.
Chevy all day long !!!
I wonder what truck Ben was driving 👀🤔
👀😆
Seat comfort goes to ford
22 Danali vs platinum?
Chevy Silverado 👍🏽👍🏽
Ford f150 for me.
Lost me with “popping”
Ford, just because I had a horrible experience with my last Chevy.
U want lifter failure transmission problem (afm) go with Chevy
Ford!
Ford looks better both nice trucks . Not fan of Silverado lights
Ford over the Chevrolet Silverado
is gm still using the same shitty transmission supplier from 2010 ish? What a disaster that truck turned out to be for me.
It has the exact same transmission as the ford (they co-developed it), but chevy’s tuning is much better
F-150 rides rough with that 10 speed.
Silverado is smooth.
Ford looks lame, lez go chevy
let's learn something, the 2009-2014 f150 is the competitor of the 2014-2018 Silverado, in 2014 GM released their trucks and in 2014 the 2009-2014 f150 already existed, then in 2015 Ford released their new f150 but in 2015 the 2014-2018 Silverado already existed, then in 2019 GM finally released their generation to compete with that f150 then in 2021 ford released their next generation but in 2021 the 2019- now Silverado already existed most people won't understand this and lots of people don't know all of this but my point is just because 2 trucks are the same year does not mean they are the right competitor generation, one generation might be newer than the other and because it's newer that means it's more advanced and has more features and you might go for that one even though you night not like it which is ok but if you are a loyal GM fan or ford fan then you night want to find out or wait till your favourite brand releases their trucks so you can be happy
Neither
I guess Ford wins this one.
Chevy grillls look boring
LMAO. I was thinking the same thing about that horribly dated Ford grill with the cheap looking black fascia. That has the same paint color as bare bone work truck Silverado bumpers.
between these two I will take the Ram 1500 Bighorn. thanks.
Go on the forums for each particular brand to see what the real owners are whining about. The fuel economy voodoo these manufacturers are using are hand-grenading these engines. I'm not going to say which. Do some research!
Ford looks dated…… All of them. At least for an European
Lol people in the comments are fools. Silverados are so ugly and poorly designed, they are so ugly how do you guys not see it. It literally looks asian
I noticed that too.😆
You’re drunk.
😂
Silverado front end is way more aggressive and nice looking.
Sounds like somebody who's unhappy paying more for less by way of the F-150 and its horribly outdated aesthetics.
@@MrCooper89 nah Silverado looks like it was designed in 10 minutes. They've been out dated
Rst stands for really stupid truck . Chevy can do better... much better
What's stupid about it? Better looking wheels than the Ford and painted bumpers. That's the RST package. What exactly makes that stupid?
