The pause and then the network speed test back to back made mine go from literally 20-30 mbs to 500-700 yo thank you so much for this video can’t believe something so simple made it so much better
The pause trick always works for the first 5 seconds of downloading at 200mbps, then it starts throttling the speed back all the way down to 5-10mbps. Every time I resume, it starts flying at 200, then after a few seconds it rapidly slows down again. It's literally faster for me to sit here clicking pause and resume than it is for me to let it DL at 10mbps. Frustrating but I'm convinced it's just my internet speeds that I'm paying for from Comcast. Might have to increase my speeds.
@@tazfas yeah my series X used to work just fine ever since i got it, all the downloads were super quick since it was downloading at 200-500 mbps but now it just started acting up and downloading at 1-20 mbps. it could be that i haven’t used it that often recently but i highly doubt it.

I tried pause and resume, turned off the two settings, then did sleep mode shutdown. Immediately after I came back it went from 4mbps to 90. You’re a life saver 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
2 years later and this is still helpful. Appreciate it man, went from 1.62mbps to above my download speed of 95mbps. Downloading ghost recon and it went from 7 hours to 1 hour 😂.

It needs to be wired to be getting the best and consistent speed but it also depends on what speed you get from the provider. And in wifi it just has to be a really fast Wi-Fi router to be doing certain speeds over Wi-Fi. Sometimes being closer to it helps and being further away can make it worse. Or if too many people are using the Wi-Fi that’s going to make every ones stuff slower

@@L3G3ND5_0F_YT hello. I’ve noticed that happening to me as well lately. It’s got to be something Xbox needs to push out an update to fix. I haven’t found a way for it not to happen it’s real random. I usually cancel the update and try again after doing a full power cycle.
They are only going to be the same or close to the same if your provider offers them at the same speeds. Mine is way lower for my max upload also. It’s never past 45-50
